Well, disheartening news, there is a known bug in the game that removes the parking lot attendant, rendering the game impossible to proceed. I just got this today after reaching level 6. I recommend having a back-up save file on another device, which I should have. Now unless they patch this (Looking at you 2K), I'll have to start again.
So use the initial starting week to do interviews and cut promos.
When in dialogue prompts, aim for specific quotes promoting either (management for influence and the WWE Universe for popularity)
1. Talk to Renee Young
1.5 If you have a rival, remove it right after to reset the week, talk to Renee again. You will not have a rival during your Week 1&2 of the month, but will for 3&4.
2. Set up a promo with the lowest tier wrestler available (The default is SUPERSTAR).
3. Quit out the actual match scheduled for you.
4. Do the promo and win (set the game to easy to make promos even easier).
5. Rinse and repeat.
Each 4-week period between ppvs should net you:
Six Interviews (rare occasion you won't be able to do an interview because someone else is talking to Renee)
4 call out promos
around 120-200 career points per month.
Potential game-ending bug: If you happen to have a glitch where after the show, it tells you to talk to Todd Mullin, DO NOT REMOVE YOUR RIVAL. If you do the show again, nothing should happen, just don't remove the rival. This does not reset the week anymore, but caused the parking lot attendant in my game to vanish.

Great tips, did you ever find a cure for that attendant glitch? It’s driving me mad, no back up saves or cloud tricks can fix it.
