Switch the Difficulty to Easy. This can be done by selecting Gameplay in the Options menu. Also, feel free to edit Curt Hawkins' Payback Abilities, to where they both say None. This can be done when you select Superstars.
Firstly, edit your Minor Payback Ability so you have Possum Pin, & go up against Curt Hawkins. Let him beat you up so you earn the Possum Ability. Then, make his face bleed, & his torso limb damage red. Attempt the Possum Pin. If he kicks out, don't worry. You don't have to restart. Keep the match going, if you feel confident that you'll be able to take even more damage in order to get the Ability back. This may take a few attempts. It did, for me. Questions? Comment below.

How do you activate playing possum please

Hold RB & click LB. When your opponent is close to you, spam the B Button. It's a little finicky, at least for me.
