Have you tried using one in a Tower match as well? I think it works in that mode as well, so it could be worth trying that out if it isn't working for the standard method.

Yes I tried in a tower match accidentally and it still did not work that way either. This achievement and the jumping off ropes at groggy opponent will not unlock for me.

Hmm, that's weird.

For the second one, I recommend hitting a wake up taunt and waiting a second or two for the opponent to do the groggy animation after standing if you haven't done it already. You'll know what I'm talking about when you see it

Oh trust me I've tried that around 25 times now and still nothing. I'm convinced I have to wait for a patch or something to unlock them.

Start a new save

Making a new save also did not work for me.

If its glitched and not working I waited after getting the 'High Pressure Situation' Achievement then went into my saved data and deleted all of it. Restarted the game and unlocked the 'Boosted', 'Attack Of Opportunity' and 'Overachiever' achievements in a row. Hopefully it works.

Yes I am on the One X, however, I actually never tried to erase my save data. I tried making a brand new career mode character(s) and it still would not unlock. Does anybody know if you delete your save if you lose your online MYPLAYER characters too? I was planning to get my 50 wins and then deleting my save just in case.

You will lose the characters, I believe.

Thanks I won’t take the risk then. Once I get my 50 wins achievement I will update though if anyone was wondering.

Any reason why after I got this to finally unlock that TA does not acknowledge that I unlocked the achievement? I even played an entire new game after and didn’t update? On my Xbox profile it still says 970/1000 but then I open 2K20 and says 1000/1000.

Can’t tell if it’s this game just being broken again or something else happened.

I have no idea, I guess it's taking a while to sync up properly? Has it updated now for you? I'd imagine it would be Xbox servers for this one.

Does this have to be online vs player in RTG? Or can it be unlocked in the towers also? Doesn’t state this in the description. I have also had this not unlock.

I'm not certain, but I'd imagine it should work for the towers. It definitely applies for RTG matches, when it decides to unlock for a certain save file, that is.

I can confirm it works in Towers, granted I had to erase all of my saves and load the game up on my original Xbox One and start a new MyCareer file.

It did eventually track properly, took about 2 days though!

Didn’t unlock for me when I did it normally, then it randomly unlocked like a month later after I played an online road to glory match.....weird

@AHGreg - Are you playing on a One X? I had problems unlocking this, Reliable Worker, the loot pack achievement, and the tripod achievement. I deleted all saves and loaded the game up on my OG One. I had no problems getting these achievements there.

I know a while back there was an issue where certain games achievements weren't unlocking on the Xbox One X, but had no issue unlocking on the OG One. I had a friend playing through this entire game on the OG One and he never ran into a problem whereas I kept running into issues on my One X.

Just food for thought.
