One way you can unlock this achievement is to play a 1-on-1 match against the CPU. Pick any superstar you want, but make sure that you have the superstar's Major Payback (red) as 'Move Thief'. You can change this by selecting 'Edit Payback' as you select your Superstar. Opponent doesn't matter, but I suggest playing a lower OVR opponent.
During the game, you'll need to raise your Payback Meters so that your Major Payback is full. To do that, let the CPU beat you up until the red icon is full. Then, beat up your opponent until you have a stored finisher. Once you do, activate Move Thief by pressing
+ 
, then you can use your opponent's finisher by pressing 
+ at the desired setup for that person's finisher. Pin your opponent after you use the move or make the opponent submit with the move and the achievement should unlock.

Thanks for this. It wouldn’t work, but it turned out the meter only looked full and it wasn’t. Let whoever you’re facing beat the hell out of you just to be sure and also make sure you have a Finisher ready to go. Whatever you do, don’t be in Signature mode. Get rid of your Signature ASAP so you don’t waste time once you’ve activated the Payback. Good luck to all!

its RT + Y, not A. Aside from that +1. Also make sure "Move Thief" is your active Payback (having it to the right of your yellow PB).

Another trophy using a level 2 payback, for this one you will need the move thief payback. You will have to get the red meter full again, you will then want to get your opponent red and earn a finisher. Once you earn the finisher, press 
+
to activate the payback then press 
and 
at the same time to hit their own finisher against them, then pin or submit them to win. You can have both superstars start with a finisher by editing the match options using beforehand to make this easier.
