The WWE 2K grind is back for the new installment.

The new MyFACTION mode comes with a new set of challenges to complete. It looks like this will take up to 5 real life weeks to complete.

These come in numerous different types and can be accessed by pressing and then from the MyFACTION hub.

Win 10/50/500 Matches:
This will be a long one, simply just win matches in the different modes. You'll need to win 100 Faction Wars and Weekly Tower matches for the two related achievements and a further 42+ to complete the Proving Ground chapter. You will essentially be halfway there after getting the rest of the MyFACTION achievements. Nice!

Edit2: Sadly, this method appears to now be patched. A quick method for wins can be found by getting count-out victories in the weekly towers to get you up to 100 wins there.

Win 10/100 Weekly Tower Matches:
It appears there are 4 towers featuring 5 matches each per week. This could take 5 weeks to complete if you do all of them each week. You receive rewards upon winning the 5th match per tower. Alternatively, you could bash them all out at once by repeating an easy singles match, but not get additional rewards.

Win with various combinations in Faction Wars:
For this one, you simply need to set up your Faction Wars team (every match is a 4 vs 4 tag match; you can swap between men and women with the triggers if you want to shake it up) with 4 wrestlers of the same type; one match needs to be won with 4 strikers, high-fliers, powerhouses and technicians. Finally, you'll need to win one with one superstar of each type. You can filter these before a fight by modifying the line-up when you are selecting the superstar () and then cycling through the options with the bumpers.

Win 5/50 briefcase prizes:
You get one of these per Faction Wars victory. You will get this on the way to the 100 wins.

Earn 20/200 medals in Proving Grounds:
You will get this as you complete the Proving Ground chapters. You can get up to 3 medals per match depending on the difficulty you select: 1 for normal, 2 for hard and 3 for legend. You will get this during Chapter 2 if you go for all of the medals on the way.

Open 5/50 Packs:
You can get this by simply opening packs. You get packs as rewards for various challenges and can get them from the Weekly Towers. you could also buy them with MyFACTION points or VC (not recommended).

Evolve 1/10 Cards & Evolve a 4 or 5 level card to Maximum level:
Some cards have the ability to 'evolve'. This increases the level of the card and makes it stronger in battle. Each card that can evolve can be seen in the Headquarters tab. Here, you can keep tabs on who can evolve and what 3 things you need to do to evolve them. Everything is tracked here. A 4 level one will have to be evolved multiple times.

Collect cards of different rarities:
You'll need to collect a lot of cards here. 20 for Bronze, Silver and Gold (you'll get these from packs), anf 10 from each tier from Emerald to Amethyst before finishing with 5 Diamond cards. You can get the higher rarity ones from Proving Ground, Faction Wars and the Token Market which unlocks higher level cards as your collection grows.

Collect a Superstar with a Hall of Fame level badge:
This one can be obtained early (ish) on through the token market by buying Ruby Booker T for 45 tokens (you will need to unlock the Ruby tier by buying 15 Emerald and 17 Sapphire cards first. To check what badges a card has, click the right stick , press to flip the card and then to see the badges. HOF level badges will appear golden. *credit goes to Zescenta for finding Booker T*

If you pre-ordered the game and received the Immortal pack, the Undertaker '98 is a great choice to not only get the 4 level evolution, but he also has a HOF level badge upon reaching Amethyst rank. Faction Wars is a great place to grind out the challenges. If you set your squad up with 3 bronze cards, you'll also face much weaker opponents, making the grind even easier.

Complete 3/21/84 Daily Challenges:
You will need to complete 4 full weeks' worth of daily challenges for this. You get 3 per day with small rewards. These will be visible on the MyFACTION Home screen or can be viewed the same way as the Lifetime Challenges and are fully tracked.

Earn 1/4 Loyalty Rewards:
You unlock loyalty rewards by logging into the mode at least one time per day for 5 days throughout a week, so this should also take 4 weeks to complete.

Earn 1000/10,000/50,000 MFP in Matches & earn 150/300 MFP in one match:
You get MFP for doing various things in matches. You get 15 MFP each for taunting the opponent and crowd + as well as 15 each for hitting a signature and finisher. You can also get additional tasks specific to the superstar class. A powerhouse, for example, can get 15 MFP for hitting 10 heavy attacks or getting an opponent's body damage to red. For the 300 in one match, I'd recommend doing this in the Faction Wars mode as you can repeat the basic 4 objectives with each superstar, giving you a simple 240 MFP before needing to touch the class specific ones. You can check which tasks you can complete or have completed for each superstar through the pause menu at any point during the match.

Win 5/10/15 matches in a row:
Simply win 15 matches without losing. Losing will reset the streak, obviously.

Equip a superstar with 1/4 sideplates:
Some superstars can have sideplates equipped. These give superstars attribute boosts for a set number of matches. For 4 sideplates, it will have to be a high level card. Silvers can have 1, Emeralds 2 and Rubies 3. It seems as though the card will need to be a Diamond one for it to have all 4 sideplates at once.

Apply a Diamond Contract to a superstar:
You can get different level contracts as well as superstars. These are not obtainable in the standard packs in the store at present. You do get one as a reward for obtaining 5 cards of diamond rarity. Use one on your favourite and they'll be under contract forever!
