Challenge matches are easily identified, simply put if they look like a created character, it's a challenge match. They give between 15-40 skill points so are worth doing and unless there's a specified objective usually can be won quickly via ring out.

In MyRise mode, use the created character to pump up any stat (a full bar for pumping points) to the maximum

The trophy is glitchy. I only got it when I upgraded 4 stats to 100. So don't panic after you upgrade 1 and don't get the trophy.
