While equipping the laser most of the enemies are taken down quickly. Once you are allowed to build towers I used the extended laser fences and some artillery and laser towers to blast away what was trying to get close to the core.

You will likely get this while going for gold trophies because minimizing core damage will be your highest priority. If you still don’t have this after getting all gold trophies, play the first mission on easy and this should be a very easy trophy to get. Build fences and towers to extend enemy routes as long as possible if you are struggling. Also use your singularities and dark matter bombs on faster and tougher enemies, respectively.
