How to unlock the Fight Back achievement in Xbox Fitness - Definitive Guide

Punches thrown is a stat tracked within Xbox Fitness, so if you've already done plenty of workouts involving punches, this can already be done.

Many are reporting the game auto-unlocks it without requiring any additional input, or auto-unlocking with the update datestamped in the past. In my case, the achievement was on "Done! Unlocking..." until I loaded a workout with punches. After the first punch, the achievement unlocked.

Otherwise, this serves as an extension to Furious Fists. I would recommend Mossa Fight 1, as it also gives progress towards That Was My Everest.

What workout and sequence did you use? I'm stuck at "Done! Unlocking..." too. I've thrown a few punches in Mossa Fight 1, but no unlock yet. Going to My Profile says I'm at 168%!

I used Mossa Fight 1 as well, it unlocked a few seconds after the first punch, which is standard for the game.

I hope you're not the first one to have it actually stuck at Done! Unlocking...

Thanks for the response. I did just unlock it in 10 Minute Solution, Rapid Results Kickboxing. It unlocked at the end of a sequence. I guess I just didn't punch for long enough in Mossa Fight 1. If anyone else has trouble, I suggest continuing to punch at least until the transition to a new exercise.

I didn't have to do anything - my Xbox auto-downloaded the update and apparently I won it on Feb 22 without having to do anything.

This auto unlocked without me turning the console on. I won it in November of last year and haven't turned on the X1 in 2 days.

Well, that works. I'll update the solution accordingly.

If you were hit by the fit-point & challenge reset bug recently (Fit Points Reset) you have to start from 0% unfortunately :/

I had no idea that I won this achievement until I read this page! For me it apparently popped a few days ago and maybe I just never noticed it while I was loading the program or something. Right now there is an incredibly high TA score of 1,331 for a ratio of 26.62. That would be the highest by far for me. Probably won't hold for long though.

Updated solution to indicate the achievement can auto-unlock along with the update. As for the ratio, with the new recalculations done earlier this year, Title Updates now use the base game's players to calculate ratio. Additionally, recalculations are only done once per day, so if there were few people who unlocked it on day one followed by a few hundred the next day, the ratio wouldn't drop until the next recalculation.

For anyone having it reset to 0% because of the Fit Point reset, It may have been fixed. I had to start again from 0%, was only at 31% as of today and it randomly unlocked while watching tv. So the reset glitch might be fixed now :D

Mobility & Strength - Upper Body has 4 drills that count punches: Drills 32, 33, 36, 37. Credit to SherlockGecko for finding this and posting in a thread awhile ago. (We had been discussing the current punching challenge.)

It's important to note that this is another achievement where you cannot simply ignore the trainer and just throw punches non-stop until this unlocks. Punches only count when the trainer does them, and you'll know the game is counting your punches if you see your fists flash white/blue on the Kinect box on-screen. The Mossa Fight workouts contain a lot of punches, especially the first one, so this achievement won't take too long to unlock if you focus on these workouts.
