How to unlock the Man No More achievement in XCOM: Enemy Unknown - Definitive Guide
This achievement unlocks after you research and build your first Titan Armor. In order to progress through the research and get the option to research this armor, you must follow these steps:
First research the Carapace Armor. Note the requirements.
Carapace Armor
Requirements: Salvaged Alien Materials, 10 alien alloys
Unlocks: Carapace Armor (HEALTH +4), Alloy S.H.I.V.
Once you have Carapace Armor researched (it doesn't have to built), research Titan Armor and build at least one. You must have researched Elerium as well.
Titan Armor
Requirements: Carapace Armor, 15 alloys, 5 Elerium
Unlocks: Titan Armor (HEALTH +10, poison immunity, flame immunity)
EDIT: As noted in the comments, there is no need to research the Skeleton Suit first in order to get this achievement!

There is no need to research the skeleton suit.

Doh! You are right! The Titan requirements only require Carapace to be built first. You can skip right over the skeleton suit. Thanks for the tip! I edited the solution accordingly.

During research progression you will unlock the ability to make Titan Armor at the engineering department. Make a suit and the achievement will pop. If a remember correct the research will unlock around the time of the assault on the alien base, after researching the alien power source.
You will have to research Carapace Armor tech and Elerium tech to access Titan Armor tech. Build your Titan armor and the trophy should pop.

The key research that allows you to move from medium to heavy armor is the research of the alien power plant, and after it - Elerium (serves as fuel). Power plants look like green glowing pillars and explode very easily during combat or a saucer crash. They are guaranteed to be captured at the alien base. After research, the armor simply needs to be produced in the workshop.
