How to unlock the Smooth Criminal achievement in Yakuza 0 - Definitive Guide
This is a missable achievement in chapter 3.
This guide is from the guide I used on the ps4 version from psnprofiles.
After leaving The Grand in Chapter 3, your objective will be to head over to Odyssey, but before you do so, there are three NPC's scattered around Sotenbori you can talk to in order to gain information that will be useful for the negotiation with Yamagata. Check the map below for the locations of the NPC's; they've been numbered. They can be spoken to in any order. Here's a pic from psnprofiles
Note: It's recommended that you make a save before you enter the club because it's possible to mess up the next part.
After you've spoken to all three NPC's, enter Odyssey and continue on until you're seated at a table and given the chance to look around. Now you must look around the club and check everything you can such as the 2 tables that are filled, the empty one right next to them and the table right next to you. I don't know if looking at Mr. Libido dancing on the stairs dancing counts but look at him as well just to make sure. Once this is done, continue on with the story. You will receive this achievement when you enter The Grand near the beginning of Chapter 4.

Now you must look around the club and check everything you can such as the different tables.
You can only check the four tables. One is empty and two are close to each other next to the empty one. The other one is in front of you. Why leave it so vague? Just to be the first to "write" a guide - even though you didn't unlock it yet?

This trophy is missable.
Before you go to the Odyssey for the first time as Majima in chapter 3, you need to speak to three different people on the streets to get intel. One of them is on the western bridge, one is on a street corner on the southern end of the eastern bridge, and one is near the southern taxi. Majima will give you a little speech letting you know that he's ready to go to the club once you talked to the last one.
Save your game at this point, and don't save over it until you confirm that the trophy popped.
Inside the Odyssey, you then need to scope out 4 tables. I think there are two on the right side near each other, another father to the left that's empty, and the final one all the way to the left. There may be a time limit on this, so if you don't get all 4 quickly enough I believe it's possible to miss the trophy. You won't know, though, until a bit later. Once you go back to the Grand at the beginning of Chapter 4, that's when the trophy pops. The trap here is that the game prompts you to save at the end of chapter 3, and if you overwrite your save, you won't be able to retry if the trophy doesn't pop without starting a new game.
