To unlock this achievement you must use Saejima and fight in tournaments at The Coliseum until you reach the rank of "Star of the Coliseum."
This rank is the third "Fame" star rating out of a possible ten and shouldn't really take all that long.
This can be achieved through solo fights, or tag team matches which are easier as you always have backup. Tag team matches become available when any of your apprentices win the Rookie Tournament in the minigame "Fighter Maker."
Using Hideo Sugiyama (the starting apprentice) as my tag team partner I completed and won the "Tag Match GP" (3 star difficulty rating) a grand total of 5 times before I reached enough points to achieve the "Star of the Coliseum" ranking.

I got this in 5 matches of Heat GP, only a 2 star difficulty tournament, immediately after the cutscene after first being introduced to the coliseum. Came close to getting it in 4, so it's definitely possible if you do enough heat actions (and/or whatever else gets you extra points).

Anybody have any tips for the actual combat? Taiga is f'n useless, everyone dodges everything.
Edit: I ended up doing the street fight one like 6 or 7 times. With the weapons it was 1000% faster and less stressful than anything else I tried.
