How to unlock the Opening Up a Can achievement in Yakuza Kiwami 2 - Definitive Guide

There are 49 different kinds of vending machine drinks in this game and what kind of drinks you'll find depends on the vending machine. There are seven different types of vending machines in the game, some rarer than others:

BOSS - Very obvious by its bright blue color. BOSS coffee is a common vending machine in this game since it's a popular brand in Japan. It's worth noting that the "Suntory Natural Water" is different depending on the region.
Lucky Soda (Red) - The Red Lucky Soda is a common machine to find.
Lucky Soda (Orange) - More uncommon to find. Nakamichi Alley in Kamurocho has a bunch of these, and there are only a couple in Sotenbori, such as in the alley across from Four Shine.
Lucky Soda (Yellow) - A pretty rare variant. You can find some on the north side of the Sotenbori Footpath, and also in the northwest part of Kamurocho.
Lucky Soda (Green) - Uncommon variant of Lucky Soda. Kamurocho has several of these in the northeast near Kamuro Hills, and Sotenbori has a few in the southwest corner.
Lucky Soda (Purple) - Slightly rare. This one is obvious because it's almost entirely Mystery Drinks. You can find these in the southwest part of Theater Square in Kamurocho, or near the Bunzaemon Outdoor Mall in Sotenbori.
Lucky Soda (Magenta) - Another rare variant, and almost indistinguishable from Purple except it has different drinks on the top row. You can find it at the northeast or northwest corners of Sotenbori, or the southeast part of Kamurocho.

So let's just get all 13 mystery drinks out of the way first. These can be found in the purple or magenta Lucky Soda machine usually in the middle row. Basically just buy the max amount which is 10 and just drink all 10 (some drinks will take away most of your health or will give you health). I had to do this 3-5 times on Xbox and on the Win. 10 version to get all 13. Now I will have a list of Machines and what they hold. Note: some drinks that are listed will also be listed on multiple machines like Rich Tea or Forest Meltwater.

I swore it was S. I most likely got confused while making it cause I cross-referenced other guides from the PS4 version to make sure I had everything right.

The “Suntory Mineral Water (M. Alps)” was also my last one. It was in the BOSS vending machine in the alley behind Serena for me.

I hit all the machines listed and bought the max of everything and drank them an was at 44/49, so there are 5 or 6 different mystery drink possibilities. Downed about 20 of those and pop.
