How to unlock the Victory of the Millennium achievement in Yakuza: Like a Dragon - Definitive Guide

There's a lot of misinformation around this achievement on the Internet.

You don't need all or most jobs maxed out like some guides say, that would require an insane amount of grinding, it was tedious enough to max out one job for each character. Would it be easier if you do max out more jobs? Sure, but not really worth the effort in my opinion, I beat this dungeon with only one job maxed out for each character and some other jobs at level 30-50 (Fortune teller, Foreman and Host are important to level up, each of those jobs has one different elemental universal skill that will be very useful, especially fulminating forecast since 80% of the enemies in that dungeon are weak to electric damage)

IMPORTANT - Get 10 miracle kimchi from the kimchi vendor (Unlocked after completing "The Miracle of Spice" substory.) These are incredibly helpful for the Amon fight, I'll explain why later. Also, stack on as many recovery items as possible, you'll need them to recover your party's HP between the battles inside the dungeon.

I had my party as Ichi (Hero), Saeko (Idol), Joon-Gi Han (Hitman) and Zhao (Gangster), you really dont need anyone else, Adachi is too slow, Nanba dies too fast and Eri, well, Zhao and Han outDPS her anyway, and Saeko is just a better healer, so no reason to run Eri as idol either.

Regarding the weapons, gear, and the stats of the characters that I used:

PS: If you want to farm money for the EX weapons, there's a method that can give you about 75 MILLION per run in the regular final millennium tower dungeon. Here:

When you enter the dungeon, it's important to note: YOU CAN RUN AWAY FROM THE FIRST FIGHT. Many people say you need a base xbox or whatever to run past it (cause the enemies wont load in time), but actually, you can just run away (holding LB when the fight starts) from that fight, so do it.

Another thing to note: You can avoid the second fight on the third floor by hugging the left wall behind the dude with a pink suit (won't work everytime though, at least in my experience, but its worth a try), and you can also skip the third fight on the same floor by hugging the right wall

The entire dungeon until Amon is pretty much abusing the enemy weaknesses and healing with saeko (or lowering the enemy defenses if everyone is already at full hp, attacking with her it's not worth it tbh), this guide here says what every enemy is weak to, very helpful: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/272324-yakuza-like-a-drago...

Amon fight: Start using the Miracle Kimchi on every party member except Saeko, that'll make them have turns more frequently and is VERY helpful. Spam him with Phantom Dive (Han), Phoenix Blade (Zhao) and Bonecrushing Bat (Ichiban), for Saeko, just restore their MP if there's no need to heal or user another Kimchi on Han, Ichi or Zhao if needed.
When Amon stops taking damage, just restore your MP, use debuffs or items, for Ichiban, use PEERLESS RESOLVE (That'll save you from a attack that would kill him otherwise). When he changes his stance, he'll be vulnerable again.

When he changes his stance to Beast Style, that's when things can go south. Summon Mr Masoquist poundmate when you get the chance. When he summons Saejima, Majima and Kiryu, he'll probably use Orbital Laser in the next turn, so make sure everyone is healed up and Mr Masoquist effect is active.

I focused only on Amon after he summoned the Tojo trio, Amon deals way more damage than them and is a much dangerous threat, not to mention he can also use a move that can instakill every member of your party (Effigy of Demise), that got me killed like two times. So just focus on him with Han and Zhao, have Saeko heal everyone up and Ichiban using Orbital Laser. When he's defeated, the rest of the fight is kinda easy. Focus on Majima because he can paralyze you, he's weak to fire. Saejima comes next, he's weak to electricity, Kiryu is weak to water. (WARNING, they all can use their respective Special Attacks from their poundmate summons when their health is low, so be careful, I almost got the whole party killed because I tried to play around with Kiryu when his health was low). Video of me completing it for reference:

By the way, everytime you die to Amon, you can pay half your money to restart the fight with full HP, you don't need to restart the whole dungeon (only if you die before getting to him)

English isnt my mother language, so sorry if this guide wasn't clear enough.

Good luck to anyone trying this.

This is the solution. Pretty much did exactly this and got through it first time. Seemed like it can be an absolute nightmare looking at other guides. Nearly got taken out when he did orbital laser but survived. Great guide.

This achievement is a perfect example how to make the memories of a game from love to hate. I literally loved every minute of the completion up until this achievement.

This, however made me regret even starting it. COUNTLESS hours of EXTREMELY boring XP grinding, to levels WAY beyond anything that is needed for the rest of the game. Who the fuck wants to run the same dungeon literally 100 times to eliminate the same group of enemies over and over, just to increase a job level that you dont even need??? Just to hope, that despite all these, one random guy in the tower will not make all of them suddenly fall asleep then murder the gang in 1 turn.

Its a bad joke.

The developers should fuck themselves. No save point for a 3 hour section? What if you have to go to sleep, work, take a shit, whatever? Unacceptable, this was supposed to be a game you fuckers, you know, a thing that people enjoy to do.

2 fights prior to the boss I have entered into a fight, immediate cast of Peerless resolve, the 2 enemies murdered this porcupine headed fucker in 1 single turn. Level 99, 99, 35. Am I supposed to go back to the fucking underground for another 5 hours to kill the naked fuckers again over and over and over and over again, hoping that levelling a Chef job would help?

Fuck you SEGA, you cunts.

So this dungeons hard, so ima just list basic requirements and then explain a few things, I know the games old but perhaps someone in the future might need this:

Firstly, you need at least 1 character with a ultima weapon, due to how damage scales, who's stats do what and all that, personally I would say kasuga or 1 of the 2 characters you get towards the end of the game because both have high damage stats,

Secondly there is a misconception you need to be level 99 spend 100+ hours xp and job grinding, thats not entirely effective, or time efficient, so the reason the game feels and is "so hard" with tanks bosses is because by level 20 you were meant to have close to the ultima weapons, don't believe me? The subquest for completing romance workshop has lv 17 enemies, noone reads into that, the game expects gear grinding to be out of the way aside from the last few upgrades to be done by chapter 7 or 8 at the extreme latest, with the end game armor and weapons, even the majima fights a cakewalk 30 levels underleveled, that being said, this tower is slightly different, allow me to elaborate;

The dungeon expects you to have roughly lv 99 and job lv99 stats for bare minimum survival... or to be more precise it expects you to have 1200+attack
1200+ defense
And a speed of about 900, the levels don't actually matter, because due to how damage scales once your attack passes an enemies defense threshold you can normally 1 shot them and resist whatever damage types they have, some exceptions and for those I would say over grind to 1300 or even 1400 for attack and defense and or magic, now how to do that, item boosters, running from romance shop, using the renowned stat boost farm all the way past the hobo house to the apartments then using a phone taxi to go to the election office, you can run around to the right on the mini map, run through the left side front gate, grab a briefcase, run back out and keep running right on the mini map to go to the back of the building there's 4 briefcases, using that route you can get about 4 stat boosts every 3 or 4 minutes, each boost is +5, yes its random if you get any or what stat its for but in terms of time, you'll be netting in just 5 or 10 hours (yes its alot but job grinding for even 20 is absurd let alone 100 like some people on here) will net you 300 in 5 hours and 600 in ten, thats 300x5 so in total every 5 hours you'll get about 1,500 stat points randomly allocated, now, odds are it won't be all attack, but guess what, thats fine, base level 50 with the ultima weapons your characters will probably have job lv 30 or so, this would put your stats at 700 ish, assuming your the barebones minimum, so you only need a fifth of those to be attack to have the damage of a lv 99, and in normal cases guard and attack are the most common boosters, there is an all stat boost too that you should get alot of, all in all, in just 5 hours of this method you should be able to out strategies the enemies in the this dungeon, however, thats assuming your unlucky or just did 5 hours, 6 or even 10 hours later, you can practically 1 shot all enemies in the tower aside from the bosses which will take roughly 3 to 4 essence attacks and amon which should take 10 or so, unless you do this method for 15 or 20 hours which would mean 1 or 2 shooting everything here, so thats a in depth method for cheesing the game faster and an explanation for why it works

Incase anyone is worried about perfect blocks, I completed the tower while getting ZERO perfect blocks, they probably help but are not necessary. I had the levels and stats recommended in the solution above. Don't forget the kimchi, helps a ton.

This dungeon was a terrible experience for an otherwise amazing game xD
Way too much grinding just to not be one shot by basic enemies and no save points for taking 2 or more hours is bs.
But, following that guide linked for weaknesses was super helpful in planning which party member to use for each section. Thank gerd you can try again if Amon kills you though cuz the game decided to just have everyone attack Kasuga at once so had to restart the fight. Better than the entire dungeon though.

just a side note: if you forgot to exchange your dragon kart rings you can get +5 defense boosters for 1000 rings and you should have several thousands of these just while working you way through the cups and rivals.

damn jissi was mad asl LOL and to the guy saying you need 1200+ atk and 1200 defense and 900 agility minimum to beat the dungeon... dont waste your time doing that. 1200 is way overkill. just finished with kasuga having like 750 atk and 550 defense, 370 agility.

surprisingly i'd say magic is the most important stat in this dungeon as you're constantly spamming lightning orbs. there is also a fair amount of luck involved in the amon fight. i only survived because kasuga didn't get paralyzed from the orbital laser (even though he had the status effect). though looking back on it now it's probably best to equip the accessories that nullify fear (guaranteed to happen) and paralyze (guaranteed to happen). if all your party members have these on, you'll never be forced to miss an entire turn rotation and wont have to rely on rng to save you. good luck

Just finished it today I personally decided to max out all my jobs which made it pretty easy spam the weaknesses for every encounter and heal then for amon due to me being maxed out when he did the orbital it wasn't a one hit like it says in the guide also I think due to me being maxed I think I didn't get fear at all and was only paralyzed once throughout the entire dungeon

I found a guide that is extremely helpful for farming EXP & Job EXP it was created by the world unboxed here is the link to it.

Ive been able to max out a few jobs within hours instead of weeks thanks to this youtuber.

Followed this guide pretty much to a T. Worked on my first try!

I did this on my new game+ playthrough so I had twice as many of the rare equipment. My whole party was level 99, each character had their base class at level 99 (accept Saeko who was a level 99 idol.) Every one had at least five jobs at level 30 or a little above. And all four characters had their ultimate weapons at EX EX (used the money grinding guide three times to get that one.)

So I got this done first serious try, with everybody except Saeko having their starting job and a speciality job maxed (never maxed Saeko's starting class or Ichi's freelance class), with my main party having a few extras for skill coverage (I did a lot of FMT grinding for money/materials for weapon upgrades). As for the equipment, I did it on NG+ so I had 3 bracelets of the four gods (fourth had a curse substitute), and I paired them with attack boosting gear rather than HP boosting gear, as I was mostly able to keep on top of HP management and felt extra crit damage or automatic MP restoration was more worthwhile. And my Joon-Gi was so fast that he went through the kimchis twice as fast as the other attackers.

Only other comment I have is that Saeko can be useful as a backup ice damager. The Hostess ice spreader skill can do about double the damage of the Host ice spreader skill (I was seeing Hosts hitting 5 hits of ~200 each compared to Hostesses hitting 3 hits of ~600 each), so swapping out Joon-Gi or Zhao for a Hostess-trained Eri against Kiryu could be useful.

I had 1 job for each character at lvl 99, with a few others at 30 or below for the elemental abilities. I got rolled on the second floor. I suck at perfect blocks.
Grinded the vanguard for a few hours to get 3 jobs for each character at lvl 99. Some fights were still touch and go, but I completed the tower on this 2nd attempt.

My weapons were no higher than EX+1. Suggest leveling jobs that give dex stats. Namba as a host in reserve helped a few times. ALWAYS start Ichiban with Peerless Resolve.

It really isn't necessary at all to have to level up your weapons to max, getting them to just EX was good enough and just using the dragon armour from the battle arena.

Kimchi helps a ton in the final fight. All the extra turns and thus damage and just focusing on getting rid of Amon before anyone else made it that his health state was falling reasonably fast that he couldn't damage much as he be changing his fighting stance. He didn't even get to use Orbital Laser on me. The closet I ever actually came to dying was on the floor with the Ghille Man, but making sure Peerless Resolve was kept on Ichiban and constantly healing with Saeko was what pulled me through. Otherwise, got all the way through thankfully on the first try, and that was with only having a couple of jobs in the 30's, and main job 99 of course.

Just finished it today, had 99 on Hero (Kasuga), Idol (Saeko), Hitman (Han) and Gangster (Zhao). No other jobs anywhere near 30. Full Dragon Armour set and the usual bindings and fear resist accessories. Weapons at like EX+1, Kasuga's at EX+4. No deaths at all.

Fulminating Forecast and Ice Spreader from Fortuneteller and Host are MUSTS on at least Zhao and Han, although it will be even faster if you get them on Kasuga because I basically couldn't attack Kiryu with Kasuga unless I was using Orbital Laser.

The Kimchi tip on Amon is excellent, you can just chunk him with the Kiwami moves over and over, then call in Masochist to tank the laser, then chunk him till he dies (never hit the insta-kill move on me). Then just spam Forecast to get rid of Saejima and Majima then just throw Ice Spreader at Kiryu for 5 minutes.

Good solution, and yes, much easier than some guides make it seem, didn't need to grind money or XP apart from getting the main job to 99.

This achievement is a bit tricky. I had to beat the Final Millennium Tower 3 times to unlock the True version. You know you unlock it by receiving a text from the manager saying you will need a more serious test. The opening to this dungeon is located to the right side of the tower, walk along the street leading towards the back, there will be a well hidden set of stairs halfway throught the street. Before you enter, it will give you a warning saying that the recommended level is 99 and rank is 90 for a job. This, however, is WAY below what is needed in reality. The first fight with the robots can be avoided if you start running at the beginning as soon as you can take control of Ichiban. If not, you can run away from them in battle. In all fairness, if you can not beat those robots, you will have no chance. All hits from basic enemy attacks while on the recommended level does 800 damage minimum. It is best to get at least 2 side jobs completed at 99 rank and your main job at 99 rank in order to get the permanent stat increase. Look through each job to see which stats you want increased. When everything is set, I recommend having Hitman/Enforcer, Idol, Gangster, and Hero.

You can easily grind exp by going to the sewer dungeon nearby. Reach the point where you can save your game and heal up. Once you go to the second floor (last floor anyway), there will be 4 vagabonds that will give you tons of exp for level and jobs. Make sure your characters are holding the accessories that boost your job exp acquired by 50%. No need to worry about level exp as you will get that to 99 by finishing those jobs anyway. Easiest way to defeat them is to use attacks that hit multiple times such as Divine Shot by Hitman. That will defeat them in one round. There are other attacks you can try out as well. As soon as the battle is finished, you get a base exp of over 400,000. Since there are 4, you can get base of 1,600,000. Once all 4 are defeated, go back up the stairs, save the game, heal up, then go back down to respawn the enemies. You will level up pretty much every fight you have with the Vagabond. If you buy the Clerk and Musician accessories from the gambling halls, you can get 100% more exp for whoever is using that class.

I recommend leveling up Host for all character because you get the only transferrable ice attack. Idol is amazing for healing and buffing the party, Hitman has a bunch of different styles of moves but enforcer has 2 really good electric attacks, one for a single target and another for all, Gangster deals A LOT of damage especially the Ladder Gymnastics move that hits everyone, and Hero is a really good offensive class with a really good healing ability that pretty much heals all parties full health. Have your second female character as a Night Queen for good damage and brainwash, but its up to you to decide. Stock up on items, never a good idea to go into any battle not at full health because these enemies do so much damage with basic attacks, so their skill attacks are hard to deal with. All the enemies are the same for each floor you run through so make sure you know their weaknesses. Keep in mind, all of this is personal preference. But I do feel having 2 healers in your party (Idol and Hero) is a good idea because the order on who attacks can be tough to handle.

Remember, each boss encounter DOES have 1 weakness. Utilize that. Once you reach the top, buff up your characters (Mainly Ichiban) and heal accordingly. Use the bento boxes that heal and recover MP as they are really worth it. Any skills that buff evasion and lower enemy accuracy are amazing. I have not completed this dungeon yet but I will update when I finish my attempt.

Best of Luck.

UPDATE*******
I didn't have the ability to try this out until today but I ended up using Hero, Gangster, Idol, and Hitman to start off. My alternatives were Idol again, Enforcer, and Musician. I had no difficulty doing this but to be fair, I had 6 jobs maxed on all characters. When it comes down to it, the first few floors are surprisingly harder than the later floors. When it comes to bosses, Saejima and Tendo were the tough ones. I'll explain: Saejim and Tendo are the bosses that focus more on attack, Majima and Kiryu do not. Majima does speed and evasion, Kiryu does everything but is not as fast as Tendo. First, always heal your team with idol. If it is possible, use Lovedrunk Typhoon so you can lower the defense of all enemies, makes it easier. If the battle looks like it will be tough, have Ishiban use Peerless Resolve to prevent yourself from dying with a fatal blow and recover some health. As stated in other guides and some comments, you can use items to boost speed so you can attack more often. Is this necessary to win, no. BUT IT DOES HELP A LOT!!! Tendo is probably the hardest hitter as he can use a followup skill. If you are not careful, you can get hit with a combo and die. Halfway through the tower, I switched Gangster with Enforcer (Zhao with Adachi) as Paralysis Prongs does a lot of damage and can stun enemies, not bosses. You can however Poison bosses with Poison Shot. Does not do a lot but it stacks up over time. Majima can be taken down easily with fire attacks and he does not do too much damage, but do not get cocky. Kirya is the same but with ice.

When I started fighting Amon, it was basic in the beginning. He hits you with simple attacks and nothing more. I had Ganster out since he was so fast he could attack 2-3 times before the enemy does. Idol was there to lower defense and heal, Enforcer for Prongs, defense, and heavy damage, Hero for Peerless Resolve and Fearless Command. You know it starts to get harder when he changes his stance and also called in drones as this attack hurts everyone. Keep healing and use attacks based on his stance: Agility = Essence Attacks, Defense = Special Attacks (Distance moves like Ice Spreader), etc. Eventually it will comes to the REAL final battle where he summons Majima, Saejima, and Kiryu to help him out. Do not worry, as long as you have Mr. Masochist on Poundmates you will be fine. As soon as you can call him in, do it. Then use Essence attacks that you can cause as much damage to Amon as possible. This is still not a cake walk, these guys still do good damage so heal up always. Eventually, Amon will use his own Orbital Laser and strike you down hard. If you are quick enough to take his health down, you should still have the effects of Mr. Masochist on and can survive. Heal up and finish him off. Majima has low defense so take him out next which is not so hard. As soon as Saejima and Kiryu are the last two standing, its all good from here. Take out Saejima first as Kiryu is the tougher of the two. Weirdly enough, if you lose on the top floor, you can apparently use your money to revive yourself. I did not have to do that but just a little side note.

At the end, you get over 60 million for your troubles and your achievement. Not like the money will do you any good since this was the last thing on your list. However you do get a new outfit called the "Legendary Hero" that you can wear. It is just a gold plated rendition of the "Special Costume: Hero". But you finished the game so thats cool.

Best of luck on the next Yakuza game.

Good guide but I think it's missing tips for the final boss . When Amon goes into Beast mode, wait 1 turn and use mr masochist poundmate. It reduces damage drastically for a few turns. During those turns, kill Amon as quickly as possible then target Majima. Use Saejima, Majima and Kiryu poundmates whenever you can after you use mr masochist. You want to thin the herd as much as possible.

Order of killing Amon -> Majima -> Taejima -> Kiryu

And pray to god the laser won't kill your team.

Miracle Kimchi is a good item to have with you. It boosts your turn speed meaning you can do more damage before he can launch the Orbital Laser. It is even possible to get the kill before he can have a chance to. You can get it from the Kimchi salesman from the Kimchi substory.

^ The Miracle Kimchi is a massive difference maker, almost doubled the amount of turns I had between Amon's attacks, to the point where if you do enough damage to him it'll almost stunlock him because he'll use his turns to change stances.
You can also farm briefcases in Sotenbori for energy drinks that offer permanent stat bonuses.

Yeah, I saw this solution before going in but forgot to use it. In fact, I probably should've lost multiple. I used Mr. Masochist a hair too early and then forgot to heal and lost two party members (Joon-gi Han and Eri). I really wanted to at least bring Eri back but I needed to heal badly and Adachi was paralyzed.

Next, they each took three or four turns pounding on Kasuga and Adachi, so I had to heal again. When Adachi was finally able to move again, I finally brought back Eri, who brought back Joon-gi Han.

Then my controller slipped out of my hands and I guess cn_LT got pressed because my party was moving on their own (I hate that because it leads to party wipes), and my party almost wiped before I could regain control.

Finally, I beat Amon, then Majima, Saejima and Kiryu in that order.

However, I will note that they each have their own essence moves when their health gets low, so be careful and stay healed because they can also wipe your party!

I just wanted to include my experiences with this achievement. It's not as daunting as you may think, although it's still tough as nails.

You're gonna want to have at least 1 or 2 jobs at level 99, and a good spread of job abilities. I had the following levels before going for this achievement:

Ichiban: Level 99 Hero, Level 99 Freelancer, Level 30 Foreman
Han: Level 99 Hitman, Level 60 Breaker, Level 60 Enforcer, Level 30 Host, Level 30 Fortune Teller
Zhao: Level 99 Gangster, Level 95 Host, Level 75 Fortune Teller
Saeko: Level 99 Idol, Level 70 Night Queen, Level 65 Hostess, Level 35 Barmaid

I used that party for almost all of it, subbing out Han for Homeless Nanba and his fire attacks for the Majima fight. You'll want the job spread that I suggested to at least level 30 so you can get the transferrable Ice and Lightning skills for Han and Zhao. Combine that with Orbital Laser, Zhao's fire attack, Han's bullet and blade attacks, and you're pretty much covered for enemy weaknesses. Make sure to go in with a lot of Staminan XX, Tauriner ++ and higher, and it shouldn't be too rough.

The main strategy you'll want to use is Peerless Resolve as soon as you can control Ichiban. This will save you from dying in 1 hit. At this point, you'll be able to take like, 2 hits from normal mobs in the tower before dying, so we'll want to use Saeko/Ichiban as your healers (Ichi as a last resort, or against the bosses weak against Ice). Just remember, as soon as someone goes down try and revive them either using the Fortune Teller's revive spell, Idol revive spell, or a Medkit as I found Ichiban's revive spell was trash. My general turn strategy was Han/Zhao using spells/abilities to take out enemies 1 at a time, healing every turn with Saeko (unless against Ice, then Ichi was healer), use Peerless Resolve, then Fearless Command, then physical attacks or Orbital Laser.

I'm not going to go into excruciating details - there are plenty of FAQs on the internet that detail the enemy placements / weaknesses. This is just the strategy I used while exploiting those weaknesses.

Happy hunting!

This trophy is the hardest/longest trophy in the game, and will likely be the last thing you earn. This trophy was originally DLC for the Japanese version of the game, but has been integrated into the list for the western version of the game and is required for the platinum. After clearing the Final Millennium Tower which is the first post game dungeon, the game will inform you that you may now access the True Final Millennium Tower which is the toughest challenge the game has to offer. In order to have the stats needed to clear this dungeon, you are going to have to max out several jobs. This is because jobs can go up to 99 and offer permanent stat bonuses after rank 30. This dungeon is gonna require you to max out almost every relevant job for your party in order to be able to survive. I suggest farming Invested Vagabond enemies in the Kaurocho Underground Sewers. There are 4 of them that appear on floor B2F and they offer around 400,000+ job experience when defeated. Boost this with things like job experience accessories and you will rank up almost every time you beat one. Be aware, however, that this is still a lengthy grind. Once you have the stats you think are necessary, go ahead and make a save outside the tower before heading in. This is because, just like the Final Millennium Tower, the True Final Millennium Tower offers no retries until the final boss. There is also no exit once you go in until you reach the end of a floor so if you find yourself unable to get through it, you can at least back out to the main menu and reload your save right before you went in. Once you've cleared this obstacle, the Platinum is yours.

Some advice about the True Final Millenium Tower:

- I highly recommend having the Mr. Masochist Poundmate from the substory. He reduces all incoming damage for a set amount of turns and it was practically necessary in order to survive an attack from the final boss.

- Have a designated healer such as Saeko. The enemies in this dungeon hit very hard. One slap will likely take you down to around 60-65% depending on your stats. So you're going to want a designated healer who will likely be healing every turn. My recommendation is having Saeko with the Idol job.

- Have a designated magic user like Nanba. Almost every enemy in the True Final Millenium Tower has a certain magic weakness which means magic users will be able to do some solid damage.

- Assign Kasuga the Hero job. This grants him access to party healing and the Peerless Resolve move which allows him to take a fatal hit. This is especially useful if you run into hard hitting enemies that end up ganging up on Kasuga. Since it is game over if kasuga gets knocked out, this move can be very valuable.

To get "True Millenium Tower". I was forced to grinding three times and beat Amon.
After that, you got an enterance of "True Millenium Tower".

Pro tips: Try to maxed out everything before entering this dungeons. Stocks lot of foods/energy drinks etc. Be prepared for 1k-2k or even one hit kill skill from Shin Amon.

Use Nanba (Homeless)/Eri (Dealer) as "Mage" to decrease their defense and attack, also for healers. While the rest is up to you.

Alright, here we go. This is the final test in the game. This optional dungeon is unlocked in Premium Adventure (post-game) by completing the regular Final Millenium Tower and ratchets up the difficulty with all Level 99 enemies. It mirrors the final dungeon of the main story, but is obviously significantly more difficult. I would highly suggest being Level 99 yourself, with at least one job maxed at Level 99, and a few others to Level 30 to learn their permanent bonus skills, as well as getting some of the passive stat buffs from having more jobs leveled up.

My final party ended up being the following, with the first job listed as their primary equipped job:

  • Kasuga: 99 Hero, 57 Freelancer, 30 Breaker, 30 Devil Rocker, 30 Foreman, 30 Chef. Devil Rocker is from paid DLC, so that's obviously optional, and I realized too late I should have also done 30 Host for an Ice damage skill. His weapon was at EX+3. He had Quixotic Helm/Armor with Dragon Boots. The Dragon Boots are a must for the extra agility even though other armors have better defense. More turns is key. Accessories were Courage Pendant and Eye of the Dragon.
  • Adachi: 99 Enforcer, 41 Detective, 30 Breaker, 30 Host, 44 Chef, 30 Fortuneteller. His weapon was only EX, no plus at all. Could have benefited from upgrading it, but I switched him in after working on Nanba first and realizing Nanba kinda sucked. Gear was Viking Helm, Dragon Armor/Boots, Transcendent Insoles, and Courage Pendant.
  • Saeko: 99 Idol, 99 Dealer, 30 Night Queen, 30 Matriarch, 30 Hostess. Matriarch is paid DLC, so that can be switched for more levels in anything else. Her weapon was EX+1. Her gear was Viking Helm, Dragon Armor/Boots, Dragon's Binding, and Bracelet of the Four Gods.
  • Zhao: 99 Gangster, 40 Host, 54 Breaker, 30 Fortuneteller, 52 Enforcer. His weapon was EX+4. His gear was Viking Helm, Dragon Armor/Boots, War God's Keystone, and Courage Pendant.
The basic gist of this is that I made sure to have each character with as much defense, HP, and agility as possible by leveling their other jobs. I also made sure to have each character with an electric skill that could hit every enemy if possible. I tried the tower at many other points, such as with only a single job at 99 and no others leveled, and again with only two other jobs at 30, and those ended badly. The extra time grinding is key.

As for the actual dungeon, you'll want to bring in a ton of healing items and especially items to replenish your MP, as well as putting backup items in your item box to refill if needed. For every battle, make sure to use Peerless Resolve on Kasuga so he can survive if he somehow gets targeted twice in a row, and renew it on his next turn if it's used up. Saeko should heal every single turn if anyone has lost health, or use Lovedrunk Typhoon to lower defenses if not. Zhao should focus on doing damage, either with Fulmigating Forcast if they are weak to electric or doing Ladder Acrobatics and Phoenix Blade depending on other weaknesses. Adachi should use Paralysis Prongs to deal heavy damage to the most dangerous enemy, or use Electromagnetic Storm if all enemies are weak to electric. Repeat for every battle and you'll be successful. Just focus on healing over damage at all times.

The final test against Amon can go south quickly, so be sure to bring in Miracle Kimchi items which will give you extra turns, and focus solely on Amon until he is dead, even after he summons the extra three enemies. Have your Idol focus only on healing. Kasuga should use Peerless Resolve, then his damage buff shout, and finally he can then do his best bat technique. Adachi will use his Prongs while Zhao does Phoenix Blade until the summons come, then Ladder Acrobatics. The battle is identical to all the normal battles for the first 50% of his health, then it changes considerably. Use your Miracle Kimchi at this point to get extra turns, as burning down his health is now a big priority. After he switches to Beast Style and summons the three ghost entities, have Kasuga begin using all the Poundmates you have, starting with Mr. Masochist for the defense buff. This is the only way you'll survive his Orbital Laser attack. From there, you should be able to kill Amon quickly, followed by Majima, Saejima, then Kiryu. Even after Amon goes down, don't get comfortable and forget about your healing, that should still be your top priority at all times.

If you die to any of the normal enemy encounters you'll be kicked out of the tower. If you die fighting Amon you can retry at the cost of half your money. If you continue to struggle with the setup I've outline above, consider returning to the sewers and leveling up more jobs to at least 30 and maybe even one other to maximum for the extra stat boosts.

A trophy that scares many people, but in reality it is not that difficult. There is no need to grind all professions to the maximum, it is enough to bring the main profession to 99, and bring the rest to level 30 in order to get the necessary stats and skills.

My group looked like this: Kasuga(Hero), Joon-gi Han(Assassin), Zhao(Gangster), Eri(Idol).

The most important point is the amount of HP on each character. Opponents hit very painfully, therefore, in order to comfortably survive all attacks, the amount of HP on each of the characters should be 1800+ (if bonuses from professions are not enough, you can finish them off with accessories). I also recommend stocking up on MP consumables, since you will be spamming skills on a regular basis.

Below is a list of enemies with their vulnerabilities, as well as small comments to make your passage a little easier.

The very first skirmish in the tower lobby can be avoided by wearing one of the characters, including a minor one, Amulet of Kishimojin , which blocks the appearance of opponents on the city map.

Floor 1:
  • Mister Six [Blunt] , Grand Slammer [Blade, Electric]
  • Scarredface [Ice] , Chinese Mafia Officer [Electric, Bullet]
  • Thought Entity Saejima [Electric]

Floor 2:
  • Ironclad Chef [Blunt, Ice] , Flashmobber [Fire, Ice]
  • Maneating Loanshark [Ice] (can call for backup), Juggle-o [Fire]
  • Scarred Yakuza (can call for backup) [Blade, Ice], Undertaker [Electric] (You can skip this fight if you press against the window and quickly run to the other end of the room).
  • Nameless (x2) [Blunt, Electric] , Forsaken Samurai [Electric]

Floor 3:
  • Urbane Legend [Ice, Electric] , Emperor of Funk [Blade, Fire, Ice]
  • Edison of Anarchy [Blade, Electric] , Tinkersman x2 [Blade, Electric]
  • Thought Entity Majima [Fire]

Floor 4:
  • Invulnera-billboard x 2 [Electric] , Dr. Black [Blunt, Electric]
  • Bohemiarch [Blunt, Blade] , Biker Vanguard [Blade, Ice] , Bedeviler [Blade, Ice]
  • Ghillie Man [Fire, Electric] , Ultimate Champion [Blade, Ice]

Floor 5
  • Weltraiser [Blunt, Electric] , Pornogra-Pharoah [Electric]
  • Thought Entity Tendo [Electric] (I highly recommend putting a sacrifice stone on Kasuga before the fight, since this boss can carry out two attacks in a row, and do it on the same character, which may well end in a gameover).

Floor 6
  • Thought Entity Kiryu [Ice]

Final Floor
  • Amon [Blunt, Blade, Bullet]
  • Thought Entity Kiryu [Ice]
  • Thought Entity Majima [Fire]
  • Thought Entity Saejima [Electric]

This boss does not cause any particular problems if you know what awaits you. It is very important to have an accessory on your main character that protects against fear, since one of the boss’s attacks inflicts fear on the entire group, which can quickly ruin even a perfect battle. When Amon has a little less than half HP left, he casts Guard Order and summons three bosses from the previous floors, weak to God, that without Tendo. Immediately after this, it is vital to use the Mr. summon. Masochist , which will allow you to not only withstand attacks, but also survive Essence Of Orbital Laser . Amon uses this attack when he has a quarter of his HP remaining, having previously used Malicious Grin , which inflicts fear on the entire group. The laser does insane damage, so without the help of a masochist it will most likely be a one-shot. I recommend focusing on Amon and not trying to take out everyone at once, but doing it gradually, taking out one enemy after another. This is due to the fact that each enemy, with low health, has the opportunity to use a particularly powerful skill that causes great damage to the entire group.

For those who don’t want to level up all the way, I recommend that after calling the bosses of the floors, focus them, and not finish off Amon. Even if you survive the beam, you will still be picked apart. Slowly but surely we cut them out one by one (but do not use AoE, so as not to hurt Amon), and then, as mentioned above, the amulet and the call of Mr. Masachist. And don’t forget about the “Unsurpassed Determination” buff (analogous to the sacrificial stone).

I defeated the tower like this. I pumped all minor professions up to level 30, the main ones up to 99. Tim was the next Kasuga (hero), Saeko (idol), Han (killer), Zhao (gangster). Before the last battle with Amon, he equipped each hero with a pendant of courage, protecting against fear, and also put a sacrificial stone on Kasuga as a last chance. He endured Amon's guards one at a time, slowly and sickly all the time, and passed the second time. The most important thing is, don’t make my mistake, for the first time I called Mr. Masochist as soon as Amon called the guards, and naturally, when they were dealt with, the buff disappeared, and Amon one-shotted the entire team with an orbital beam. Therefore, only summon the Masochist after Amon is left alone. And then heal and finish off the technique.

I’ll add to the tip for leveling up the team: I was often able to kill the wealthy ragamuffin Han Chungi on the first try with the force of a feint blow, not allowing him to escape. And in the tower: before the main battle, putting fear pendants on all characters during the battle with Amon will not prevent Ichiban from using Unmatched Determination, and before calling the laser, you should call on your friend Mr. Masochist to survive the attack. I also recommend that when Amon calls on three bosses, deal with them first (or at least leave Amon and one boss), and then use your friends and an orbital beam to finish them off.

Even after defeating Amon, take care of your health, because... The remaining bosses, before they die, will delight you with an attack that takes away ~1500 health. I also want to note that absolutely all professions do not need to be raised to level 30, the main thing is to upgrade those that give health. The average health of all four characters was 1700 and I went through everything calmly. In fact, ordinary enemies from the floors of this tower brought much more problems than Amon. Regarding weapons, I highly upgraded Kasuga’s bat and Han Chungi’s +- brass knuckles, but didn’t upgrade the rest, so I’m not sure if there’s any point in upgrading at all, I didn’t notice much of a difference in damage.
So, I think, having at least 1500 health, you can go try! And don’t forget to put items that increase the characters’ health

I would like to make a small addition to the above - after summoning ghostly bosses by Amon, they should be taken out strictly one at a time and not AOEed for one simple reason - when they have about a quarter of HP remaining, they carry out their AOE attack on the entire team. If there are more than one of these per turn, the whole team is guaranteed to die.
Also, usually after AOE attacks from bosses, almost all player characters remain in some kind of negative status such as sleep or paralysis, which also needs to be taken into account.
The second point is that for me personally, after summoning the laser, Amon began to use the “Curse Nail” from time to time, instantly killing a character from the team and a little damage to everyone else. I suspect that against such a misfortune an amulet against knockout is needed.

In the tower, if you are killed on one of the floors, you are thrown out of the game to the main menu, but if you are killed on the last boss, the game gives you the opportunity to repeat the boss fight for money (as if you lost a regular battle during the game).

Nothing particularly difficult, I passed on the second try. All levels and main professions were pumped in at 99, other professions at 30-35. There were 1600-2000 lives on each (Kasuga had 2000). Kasuga had a bat at pre-maximum leveling (+7, it seems), the rest had weapons worth 1 million yen, which were not leveled up. Passed mainly by Kasuga (hero), Eri (idol), Han (host) and Zhao (gangster). Sometimes changing the last two to Adachi (detective) and Nanbu (homeless), depending on the situation. For the last battle I took Kasuga, Eri, Han, Adachi.

Before Amon calls his assistants, the fight is about nothing at all - we just pick at his HP until about a quarter remains, occasionally healing. After calling his assistants, he buffed the Masochist and fed Kasuga and Eri spicy kimchi to increase their speed. Kasuga first spammed his dear friends (Kiryu and two yakuza bosses, a million each), then an orbital laser. The rest were also hit by AoE. A couple of times the bosses made AOE attacks, but usually everyone survived (albeit with a small remaining HP).

I’ll note a couple more points: you definitely need to level up your main profession to rank 99, since at rank 99 you get a significant boost to your HP.
Other professions. For guys: foreman up to 30, fortune teller up to 16, host up to 18. Saeko - hostess up to 22, queen of the night up to 30.
By this time I had lvl 95 characters - I went to the tower and passed it the first time.

One of the hints said that it wouldn’t hurt to buy some vegetables from the stall in the park and prepare a bento that gives +500 HP/Mana to the whole group. It’s just that it’s crafted from a mysterious fruit that can’t be bought anywhere. Only find it occasionally during the game, or grow it yourself.
As a result, I purchased up to 10 pieces of Tauriner+ and Tauriner++

Just in case, he immediately hung a sacrificial stone on Kasuga. It turned out not in vain. On the second floor, the damn clown managed to one-shot the GG, carrying out an encirclement attack before the main attack (he launched a table at me, which dealt 285 damage three times, and then another 1100 flew into a perfect block with the main attack). Then, right up to Amon, everything was quite light.

Every second battle, call a friend from the soup kitchen (restore MP). Every three battles you can summon a chicken, which will restore both MP and HP.

As a result: if your arms are straight, you don’t do tedious grinding beyond measure. The true last tower, although a very worthy test, is quite passable.

I will briefly describe what you need to prepare to complete the true tower:
- Desirable group for a comfortable passage: Kasuga(Hero), Joon-gi Han(Assassin), Zhao(Gangster), Eri(Idol)
- for female characters, you need to take idol as the main profession, because only he has the skill of completely restoring the health of all characters for 70 MP (“Magic Concert”). In Kasuga, such a skill can also be obtained from one of the professions (“Embrace of the Hero” from the Hero), it will be useful so that the characters do not get knocked out.
- You need to upgrade your character’s lvl to lvl 99 and your main profession to lvl 99.
- It is NOT necessary to upgrade all secondary professions. You only need to level up to lvl 30 those professions that provide skills for elemental damage (fists, knives, fire, ice, electricity, bullets), so that all characters have all possible elemental damage, because You will only hit your enemies with them.
- Joon-gi Han and Zhao must have the “Lightning Prediction” skill, which strongly damages a group of enemies with electricity and can stun them.
- The health of each character should preferably be closer to 1800. You can increase HP with amulets (bandages for increasing life) and rare jars that increase characteristics.
- Upgrade your weapon to the maximum level XXL or at least XL+8.
- You need to level up your characters in the sewers on the 2nd floor, first of all killing wealthy homeless people, who give a lot of experience, there are only 4 of them on the floor. After killing, go back along the same stairs and go down again to respawn enemies. Let me remind you that it is better to skip battles without the participation of homeless people by holding L1.
- Money and some resources can be farmed in the first tower of the millennium (they give more than 30 million)
- before entering, make sure that you have an amulet of protection from fear for all 4 characters, which must be put on before the last battle, as well as a stone of sacrifice for Kasuga, which must be put on there.

To get this trophy, it is not necessary to upgrade all professions to level 99, it is enough to upgrade all professions to level 30 and to 99 the main one, I played Kasuga, he was my hero, Saeko is definitely an Idol, Han Chungi Hostess, his skills for water and fire damage They will help a lot with many opponents and especially with the battle with Amon, Zhao I had a mafia, be sure to teach all male characters the Lightning damage skill in the Foreteller branch, it will help a lot. For leveling up, the ideal place is in the catacombs of Kamuracho on homeless people, for whom they give a lot of experience, you will need a lot of money to level up weapons, there are several options, option 1 is a mini-game with a company, in a short time you can get 3 million if you have 1st place , 2nd option is the Colosseum Arena in Sotenbori, 3rd option is a light version of the Millennium Tower, they also give a lot of money for the bosses. Ideally, you should have around 1600-1800 lives for the characters so that you don’t get killed, if you don’t have that much, you can put accessories to increase life, be sure to put an accessory for Kasuga to resurrect, as they can hit him twice in a row and that’s yours the adventure will end))
The most important thing in the battle with Amon, when he calls for reinforcements, is to call Mr. Masochist, without him it is almost impossible to go through and it is advisable to put an amulet of fear on two characters, since if he casts fear on Kasuga, you will not be able to call upon Mr. Masochist and most likely you will simply be demolished in one massive attack. You can, of course, spend a lot of time and upgrade all your skills to level 99, but it will take a lot of time, around 20 hours somewhere.

My squad was as follows: Ichiban-Hero (purely engaged in healing with the help of the hero’s hugs) Han Zhongi - the basis of the Assassin + they took the predictor skills for mass lightning, the foreman skill for throwing a grenade and the host skill for ice attack. Zhao is the basis of Gangster and additionally everything is the same as Khan. Eri is the basic Clerk + Queen of the Night skill for attacking with fire and Hostess skill for attacking with ice. Be sure to buy some special kimchi. And in the Chinese store there are funds for resurrection with full HP and Thought. It is imperative to pump up your weapon to the maximum resources and money for this can be collected in a regular Millennium Tower; to farm money, make the Crown of the Nouveau Riche (I don’t know if the effect of it stacks, but I put it on all the Persians during farming). During the passage of the True Tower, if possible, equip the Persians with a charm with protection from fear and Kasuga must have a resurrection stone, the rest is optional. At the very beginning of the battle with Amon, use kimchi on Kasuga and Zhao, and after he summons Kiryu, Majima and Saejima, concentrate all the damage on Amon; if you're lucky, he won't even have time to use the Orbital Laser. Then it’s a matter of bringing down the summoned fighters (I advise you to concentrate all the damage on one target until it dies and deal with the next one, Majima is the frailest and weakest, Kiryu is a little stronger and tenacious, but Saejima is the most dangerous of the trio) and we rejoice

I recorded my walkthrough from the part where problems might start (middle of the 3rd floor):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=RHLPGmzSjFU

A couple of tips to speed up your leveling:
From a battle with a crowd of enemies without Wealthy Ragamuffins, you need to run away to ;
To spawn mobs on the 2nd floor, you can go down to the 1st floor and come back;

Dungeon map with the required route (blue squares are mobs without ragamuffins, it is advisable to skip them immediately, yellow squares are the ones we need)

The information is taken from the text guide ; there is a good guide on platinum on the site.

To farm experience in the dungeon, you need the second floor. There are exactly 4 points on it to get 440k+ experience (4 bums). Remembering their location will not be a problem. And to save time, just run away from all other battles on R1. There is not enough experience and money there, but they will detain you for a long time.
When you meet a homeless person, hit him first, with attacks that deal as many hits as possible. For example, shooting him for Han Chungi or various cuts from the dancers. The homeless person has very high defense and usually blows do not take down more than 1 health. So you have to rely on quantity, because he doesn’t have much health. As a result, one execution will be enough for you to take out a homeless person. if you hit the others first, he has a chance to escape from the battlefield and you will get nothing.
Don't forget to put on everyone things that increase professional experience. There is a universal scarf for Kasuga in the building opposite New Serena/Sky Finance on Tenkaichi Street (3rd floor, under mahjong). It gives +0.5 to all professions. You can also wear something with it that gives you an increase in experience in a particular profession and get x2 experience in the end.

You can farm money simply by running through the first stage of the first tower in the postgame. For defeating the first boss you get 5kk. There are only two simple battles before it. If you put the Hariti amulet on someone from the reserve, there will be no enemies in the tower lobby. Well, or you can run away from them, but this is again a waste of time.
To increase profits for completing a floor, you need to put as many Nouveau Riche crowns on the characters as possible. You can receive one as a reward for defeating one of the enemies in Hero on Call, the rest can be crafted from golden insects in the Workshop of Love. Insects can again be collected in the Kamurocho dungeon.
And to upgrade weapons you need a lot of materials. Most of what you need can be bought on the embankment near the Dragon Karting.
