How to unlock the Lead Foot Jr. achievement in Yaris - Definitive Guide

Simply complete any course in the game in under 3 minutes.

Level 1 is of course the easiest place to do this as there are very little enemies and very few obstacles in your way. Remember to hold up on the analog stick to keep you going as fast as possible and to hit all the turbo boosters on the track.

This should only take a couple of tries at the most.

Along with the above post, upgrade your tires all the way, other wise you'll lose by 1 sec. With the upgrade in tires I beat the first level with 30 seconds left over.

Upgrade the Wheels from 14" to 15" either Steel or Aluminium. The 15" steel add 5mph to the car (135 / 185 ) making it possible to make it under 3 minutes on the first level with 4 seconds to spare if you miss every obstacle. The best I could do with 14" was 3:02.

This achievement glitched on me... The results screen showed that I got the achievement (at the bottom of the results box), but it didn't pop. I played through again and it unlocked, however, so it wasn't that bad!

For what it is worth: My best time on the first level with the starting car was 3:00 flat. Once I upgraded to the 4 Door S sedan, my best time dropped to 2:53 -with the standard wheels-... I'm sure that upgrade will help even more!

While the above solution is correct, I was consistently getting 3.01 on track one and was furious. Before trying this, upgrade your tires to the 15" or aluminum. After doing this, I hit 2.38 on my first try.

Level 1 is the easiest to do this on. Try to avoid getting hit by enemies, and avoid hitting barriers. Speed rams will help you as well. (Remember to push up on the left analog stick to keep you going at max speed after getting hit). Upgrading your car/wheels will NOT help.
