You simply have to play and finish any race with another player online. It doesn't matter if you win or lose, you just have to finish.
If you are having trouble finding other people online to play with, check the Yaris boosting thread and see if some nice person can give you a hand with it.

I was just wondering what would people with silver accounts do.Will they have a particular day in which they can play online for free?

Though this will not happen often at all, there may occasionally be a free XBL day/days. May 1st-4th was one example. Other than that, I'm pretty sure the only way to get this achievement is to get Gold membership.

Another seemingly easy achievement. If you're having trouble playing online, have one of your friends invite you to a game and you can bypass the error.
