How to unlock the Critter Crazy achievement in Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles - Definitive Guide
To get this you must adopt one of each animal in the game at the same time. If you adopt one then set it free you will have to get it again for the achievement. To adopt an animal you must have the proper size pen on your farm, feed the animal it's favorite food and lead it back to the farm. 1 animal per pen.
Small Animals
Fabbit - use herbs to lure - found in Hearthwind Vale (all seasons)
Bambex - use vines to lure- found in Dapplewood Forest (Spring, Fall, Winter)
Grass Fox - use fodder to lure - found on the Grasslands (Spring, Summer, Fall)
Squomble - use wood to lure - found in the Sunderwind Wilds (all seasons)
Sprig Pig - use mushroom to lure - found in Crestfall Coast (Spring, Fall, Winter)
Large Animals
Girpacca - use warm milk to lure - found on Numino Peak (Spring, Fall, Winter)
Fluff Cub - use cooked fish to lure - found on the Shivering Plains (Spring, Fall, Winter)
Groffle - use celium seeds to lure - found on the Grasslands (Spring, Fall, Winter)
Fenicorn - use poutine to lure - found in the Radiant Sands (Spring, Summer, Fall)
A few hints on this. There are multiple foxes, you only have to adopt the grass fox from the grasslands for the achievement. All items used to lure creatures can be found in the wild or are very simple to craft except the poutine. The poutine takes multiple steps, but you can actually trade for most of the items needed so it is not that difficult. If you do not have an open pen when you get the animal to your farm, just quick craft and place one, lead the animal off your farm then back on and the adoption screen will trigger.

FYI, I tried this with the silk fox instead of the grass fox and it didn't work. As soon as I got the grass fox as well (kept the silk) it popped.

Is the Kirin required? It only appears when all regions are 95% or higher and it appears in all regions. It likes rainbow fish and requires a large pen and produces dyes.
*edit*
checked the wiki, doesn't require the Kirin to get achievement.

This trophy is earned for adopting every animal in Gemea into your farms. There are a total of nine different animals that can be found in different areas of the map. You also need their favourite type of food in order for them to like you and follow you to the farm.
Groffle - To begin with, through natural story progression you will unlock your first farm, and directly after you are tasked to adopt a Groffle which is a moose like cow animal that is found in the Grasslands Biome. Groffle like to eat Celium Seeds which will be given to you at this point. So feed one and slowly lure it to your farm. The farms have to have a pen to shelter the animal you want to adopt.
Groffles are considered large animals so you will need a large pen. The first one is free and will already be available in the farm. So use that to shelter Groffle. You need to actually set it up though. The moment the animal walks into the farm and if there is shelter available, you will be given the option to adopt it so do that to add a Groffle to your collection. BFF will also unlock.
For the rest of the animals, you will need to create animal pens. There are two types: wooden and stone. In order to be able to create wooden and stone pens you either need to unlock the master level Carpenter or Constructor guilds. These guilds are joined automatically through the story, so work your way up in order to be able to have the ability to create these pens.
Grassy Fox - It's an animal found in the Grasslands Biome - like to eat Fodder, and needs a small animal pen. Fodder can be obtained by cutting grass
Sprig-pigs - They are found in the Crestfall Coast Biome. Likes to eat Mushrooms and need a small animal pen. Mushrooms are found in caves.
Squombles - They are found in the Sunderwind Wilds Biome. Eats Wood and needs a small animal pen. Wood is obtained by chopping down trees.
Bambex - They are animals found in the Dapplewood Forest Biome. It eats Vines, and needs a small animal pen. Vines are found in grass shrubs.
Fluff Cubs - They are native to the Shivering Plains Biome. They love cooked meat. I fed it Cooked Fish which can be crafted or traded from traders. It needs a large animal pen.
Fabbits - They are found in Hearthwind Vale Biome, and eats Herbs. Herbs can be obtained from a trader in Mocha Bay. Mocha Bay is located in the Crestfall Coast Biome. It needs a small animal pen.
Girpacca - They are found in Numino Peak biome. It likes Warm Milk which can be made from Coal and Groffle Milk. It needs a large animal pen. Thanks to deadaim100 and deadman414 from PSN for the information of the food!
Fenicorn - They are found in Radiant Sands Biome. They like Poutine. You need to be a master Chef before you get the recipe for Poutine. The Chef Guild is found in Mocha Bay, so make sure to get your Chef Rank up. The ingredient to create poutine are found in Mocha Bay where you can trade for them. Or you can make them yourself at that point. Fenicorns needs large animal pens.
Once all animals have been adopted the trophy will unlock.

The trophy will appear when you bring everyone to the farm. Therefore, stock up on houses.
Kirin will appear only after completing the Quest to Restore the World, in the Post-Game, in the Destroyed Palace.
Next, make sure that you have 95%+ in ALL regions, and “Region is happy” is written.
Map showing Kirin spawn locations.
Make a safe deposit before catching him. Or have two baits. Place a BIG house for him immediately on the farm you will take him to. If something went wrong and you didn’t finish Kirin and he disappeared, then Kirin will appear the next day where he was, the spawn place (if the season has not changed)
