How to unlock the Mad Skills achievement in Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles - Definitive Guide
Items to Start With
1x Dip Fish (Chef) - 100 total (Oil)
1x Iron Ore (Carpenter) - 50 total (Nails)
1x Fodder (Constructor) - 50 total (Mortar)
1x Clay (Constructor) - 50 total (Mortar)
1x Silver Ore (Tinker) - 50 total (Machine Parts)
1x Vine (Brewer) - 100 total (Brewer's Kit)
1x Rock (Brewer) - 100 total (Brewer's Kit)
1x Copper Ore (Tailor) - 50 total (Rivet)
1x Stick (Tailor) - 50 total (Rivet)
The number on the left is the minimum you should start with. The number on the right is the minimum number you need after duplication. The item in parentheses is the item you should craft.
There is a glitch in this game when dealing with traders. When you offer them an item, they accept it, but it doesn't actually get taken out of your inventory. It gets added to their inventory at the bottom of the page or gets added to their stock if they already had it. You can then buy an item from them and sell them the exact same item to double your item at no cost.
For example, let us say you are buying a single Vine. Buy the Vine from the trader and offer him a Vine in return and accept the deal. You will now have two Vines and the trader will now have two Vines. Do it again and now you have four and four. Since you are buying and selling the same item you will ALWAYS be able to accept the deal. Repeat several times until you have enough of the above items to make the basic items in order to reach the $1000 required. Then simply go to the Master and turn in the quest.
NOTE: Master Craftsman (the endgame Class) does not count toward this achievement.

There are six guilds that you have to join and become a master to get this trophy: the Carpenter's guild, the Brewer's guild, the Tinker's guild, the Constructor's guild, the Tailor's guild and the Cooking guild.
-
Carpenter's guild
How to join: You can find this guild in Wimblewick, you must join this guild to continue the story. Talk to Vincent and he will ask you to make some planks, you will need wood to do that. Once it's done, return to the village and speak to Vincent again to complete this part of the quest. Now go into the tree and speak with the woman inside to start the quest to join the Carpenter’s Guild. She will ask for two plants and one set of nails. You have to buy the nails from the Merchant in town because you can’t craft them. Return to the guild master and you will gain some recipes and be part of the Carpenter Guild.
How to master: You have to complete the quest that involves creating $1,000 worth of Carpenter crafts. Buy some glue and nails and craft animal pens to build this up quickly. After you complete that, return to the village and talk with the women and you will master the Carpenter’s Guild and unlock a few new recipes.
-
Brewer's guild
How to join: You can find this guild in the North-Eastern village of the Shivering Plains. To join up you will need to talk to Qu and he will ask you to find four Blue Berries and four Celium Flower. You can find these at the Trader in town and you can just buy them if you don’t want to go looking for them. When you have all the items, return to Qu and he will give you some recipes to start off. He wants you to build him two sets of Blue Dye and then to return to him. Bring the dye to him and he will give you a recipe for a Firework. Build that, then light it off. If you need any extra items, go to the trader and he has everything you need. After launching the firework, return to Qu and you are now a part of the Brewer’s Guild.
How to master: You need to build $1000 worth of items to master this guild. Buy/search what you need and try to craft as much as you can; when it's done, return to the village and talk with Qu and you will master the Carpenter’s Guild and unlock a few new recipes.
-
Tinker's guild
How to join: You can find this guild at Arbre Ridge in the Dapplewood Forest. Talk to Ruby and she will give you some materials and a recipe to create Cogs. Create the Cog and talk to Ruby again and she will ask you to find five boxes and to check up on them. One is on the path down back towards the village. Another one is in the center of town on a large rock. A third can be found in a small little opening in the village near a table with a telescope on it. The fourth can be found through one of the gates with the moon symbol hanging off it, behind the rock. The last one is behind the two caravans in the village, go around them to find it. Check them all and return to Ruby and you will be in the Tinker Guild.
How to master: You need to build $1000 worth of items to master this guild. Buy/search what you need and try to craft as much as you can; when it's done, return to the village and talk with Ruby and you will master the Tinker’s Guild and unlock a few new recipes.
-
Constructor's guild
How to join: You can find this guild at Cinderton in Numino Peak. Speak to Vera there and she will ask you to bring her three stone, two Iron Ore and one Coal. You can buy all these materials from the traders here or you can go out and mine for them yourself. Return to her with the materials and she will give you a few recipes to try. She wants one Iron Ingot and one Cobblestone. Once you build both of them, hand them over to her and you will be part of the Constructor’s guild.
How to master: Just like the others, if you build $1000 worth of Constructor crafting items and return to talk with Vera you will get master rank and you will unlock even more items to build.
-
Tailor's guild
How to join: You can find this guild at Bobbintoff in Hearthwind Vale. Speak to Lion Maned Joss and he will ask for Harberdashery and some cloth for the first part of the quest. Both of these can be bought at the trader in town for cheap. Return to Joss and he will ask you to create a Basic Tunic. You will need Twince to craft the Tailor’s Kit and some Silk to create the Tunic itself. Silk is found from Webs that you cut with your sickle or you can just buy some extra from the trader in town. Bring the Tunic to Joss and you will be in the guild.
How to master: Again, you will need to craft $1000 worth of Tailor items. You can buy more dye from the Trader down below and each Tunic is worth about $300, so after you create four of them you will reach master for the Tailor guild. Once it's done, return to the village and talk with Lion Maned Joss.
-
Cooking guild
How to join: You can find this guild at Mocha Bay in Crestfall Coast. Speak with Jo Jo, he’s wearing a white coat. He will ask for Water and Oil to start the quest. Buy what you need from the merchant in town and return to Jo Jo. He will then give you a flower and ask you to go make flower at the Mill up the road. Go back to Jo Jo and he will give you the recipe for a Cooking Kit and for some Bread. Craft them and talk to Jo Jo again to join the Cooking guild.
How to master: Craft $1000 worth of cooking items. You will most likely need to do a bit of running for some clay and water. Clay can also be found around the lake near the first village. Once it's done, talk to Jo Jo again and you will have a master rank.
