Vault is the special ability of Rigel, the hero you unlock for beating chapter 5 of the campaign.
He jumps into the air, and for roughly 5-6 seconds has increased damage while he slows down time.
Like many of the "Kill X enemies" for special abilities, this is easily done if you get a room full of weak clumping enemies like Carrots. The minor challenge comes with the fact that slower time means slower attack rate. You'll want either a weapon with a lot of spread, or that fires very quickly.
Rigel himself comes equipped with a staff as his starting weapon, and many of his abilities focus on using the staff better (more damage, more attack rate ect). If all else fails, use Rigel until you face Maui, a guardian that during his second phase summons a ton of carrots.
