Start a new game and then type in any cheat code from the original DOOM. IDDQD would be the best, as it will simply instantly kill you and give the achievement. Some of the other cheats do in fact work, but they will disable gaining other achievements (and possibly unlocks) during that run, so it is generally best just to use IDDQD if you're just trying to get the achievement.
