Danger Rooms appear as spiky Red or Yellow icons on the map.
Red are harder but have rewards at the end.
Yellow are slightly easier and are usually crossroads between several rooms.
Dying in either of these rooms will net you an achievement, this may come accidentally on the harder Red rooms, but can just as easily be accomplished with a quick self sacrifice run on Easy.
