How to unlock the Unstoppable achievement in Ziggurat - Definitive Guide

Going off the leaderboards (and my own attempt) Acrobat seems to be the best character to use. While the starter character has a lot of high scores, I feel this is probably just because it's the starter character. Plus - MOST of my normal failed attempts were on the final boss, so these high scores may not necessarily be completions.

When I finished I had (only listing relevant things and not stuff I was forced to choose)
Amazon Amulet - Doubles Staff fire rate for a while when used
Mana Shield x4 - Part of the damage you receive will be deflected by your mana reserves (very helpful)
Unnatural Strength - Increase current and max hp by 100 but lose some walking speed
Frozen Soul (Spell)
Eagle Staff (Staff)

You generally want to choose anything that gives survivability if it shows up. Thick Skin, Ignore Wounds, Endure, and War Cry are all good perks to have. Wrecking Ball is also nice but later levels don't have as much to break. I essentially just used the amulet before every boss and killed them before they even did anything.

I also got lucky and got Fury before the final boss, which gives you double damage until you get hurt.

I used Frozen Soul for most minions unless the room was full of little ones, then I would always have mana for the boss. I would just pop my amulet and blow the boss away.

You want to focus on accurate and strong abilities.
For spells most are pretty accurate, I wouldn't use the poison one.
For staves it is the same, Eagle Staff or Eye of Twilight are probably your best bet.
For alchemy, any gun that shoots in a line (or bow) should be good.

Every floor has a secret room, and Hard has 6 floors instead of the Normal/Easy 5. This means 6 free perks if you find them.

A last tip I can give - I'm sure a lot of you like to leave the boss until last. However, if you find the boss (and have the key) when you have full hp, why risk coming later and being screwed? I had a bit of the final floor left but when I got that Fury perk I went straight for the last boss. Plus, if it's not the final boss, you can always go back and finish the rest of the floor.

Something I did that you can add to your guide:

Anytime you think you have made good progress and would like to back it up, use the option to save and quit. At this point, go offline and play like this. If you die or get really bad perks/weapons, you can close the game, delete the save from the console only, go back online, load the game up again, and it will re-sync the cloud save to your console. Turn the game back off, go offline again, and continue from your previous save. If at any point you have made further good progress that you wish to save again, simply save and quit again and go back online for a couple minutes with the game active and it will sync your offline console save to the cloud. Then just go offline again and continue to play knowing your backup save is safe in the cloud in case you need it again.

Once you eventually beat the game on hard, just go online again and the achievement will pop (it will not pop offline).

Also, as to character, I would recommend Hadar the Templar. He naturally regains mana from exp drops and has a naturally high hp. I also managed to get 5 of the mana shield perk making so I took absolutely no damage to my hp in any room unless I completely ran out of mana, which would never happen since it refills with the exp drops. I was essentially invincible.

Nice guide +1 maybe you want to mention that there are 6 floors instead of the normal 5

⚠️To unlock hard mode you have to beat the game on normal with that character! Wish I'd known that earlier...

The Acrobat was my choice. He has good perks and starts with a wand. This means you can essentially handpick two good weapons from the start by resetting. I settled with Divine Justice & Frozen Soul. I didn't want to do the Templar because his starter perk makes all fights longer.
