You do NOT need to own the DLC to obtain this achievement.
Simply host a Horde match and make sure the map Death Collector is selected. Make sure Wave 1 is selected, the other settings don't matter but having it set to Easy, 1 player and Public match will make it much easier.
This horde map is different then the rest, each wave you will have to go to an objective(Star) in order to actually start the wave. Having more than one player helps as there are dlc enemies on this horde map.

Just to add to above there rooms that have a glow. Inside there is a box with one of the heavy weapons however you will spawn heavies sometimes 2 at a time so be warned. You don't need to go inside the rooms to finish the horde.
