You can do this easily playing in co-op (either story or horde) and have your partner run into a group of zombies and start getting hit and then just shoot them or use grenades. Be a stepbro and let your partner get the achievement too.

I got it to pop on single player mode, assisting NPCs in Dead Ahead, on the second chapter.

This should come naturally through your co-op playthrough. You'll just need to shoot and kill zombies that are close and in attack range of your partner(s)
