How to unlock the Good, bad, I'm the guy with the gun achievement in Zombie Army Trilogy - Definitive Guide

After almost finishing everything else, I was on 30/50 Super Elite kills and was trying to think of the fastest way I could get another 20. After trying out a few levels, I remembered this part from the Campaign in: Episode Two - Tower Of Hellfire. I also played on Cadet with Enemy Setup for 1 player.

Once you begin, run past everything in the first area until you enter the area just outside the first building you need to go into, then start killing the zombies as you make your way inside (watch out for the suicide ones). Once in, go through the doors and you'll trigger a checkpoint. Now, you want to clear this area so the fog disappears which is blocking the next area. The fog I'm talking about is the one where a Fire Demon will come out of first. Once this is done, you'll trigger another checkpoint when entering this new area. This will be the checkpoint we'll be using.

Now simply follow the path and kill the suicide zombies which will run at you and as you near the corner, you'll see a wheel and a zombie to the right of it, hitting some pipes. Carry on going past this and you'll encounter a Super Elite. Defeat him and then go up the small staircase in front of you, go left and follow this walkway. As you near the end, a Super Elite will spawn ahead. Defeat him too and then restart the checkpoint and repeat. Also, just be careful not to sprint all the way down on the walkway as it sometimes makes him not spawn. If you do by mistake, just backtrack on it a bit and he'll spawn.

This spot is PERFECT for this grind. Right after checkpoint.

Thanks for the awesome spot.

Tip that saves a ton of time.

Run past the first Elite and up the stairs. Cause the 2nd elite to spawn and go prone, killing him with head shots. If you are fast enough, the first elite will be far enough behind you that you can spin around and kill him as well. Saves SOOO much time as when the elites are walking down that pathway, they don't bob and weave.

Thanks again!

As of 20/02/2020 I dont think that checkpoint works anymore. It takes me straight back to the beginning of the game.
I am selecting 'Restart Checkpoint' just like the in video.

EDIT: Turns out you need to be on 'Soloplay'.

I haven’t played this game in 3yrs, decided to play it again and I oddly enough only needed 3 Super Elites for this achievement. 😂

This is my method on getting 50 elites kills really effective and easy

Step 1: Load Up Mission Gateway To hell & Kill All Of The Enemies Until You Reach This Point In The Level.

Step 2: Plant a mine or trip mine in front of the smaller box in front of the box i am hiding behind in the video just to be safe.

Step 3: Walk forward abit and then the big door will explode turn around and then run behind the box shown in the video.

Step 4: Throw all 4 of your grenades this will take out all or most of the zombies then immediately start to shoot the elite in the head until he is dead.

Step 5: Rinse & Repeat

Level: Gateway To hell
Difficulty Level: Cadet
Enemy Setup: (For 1 Player)
Weapon: Gewehr 43
Grenades: 4

Restart checkpoint takes you all the way back to the start of the level, NOT effective!

Guide works perfectly! +1 for you!
As a side note, I'd switch out the Gewehr 43 and replace it with M1 Carbine at it holds 15rounds, thus you'd never have to reload. And to CounterInsurgnt: Their IS a checkpoint after killing the skeletons! All you have to do is just move to the spot the guide is stating you to go to and do what the guide says, thus making your comment irrelevant. Anyways, great guide!

Update: you only get checkpoints in solo, not co-op.

So my comment isn't irrelevant, this guide isn't complete.

I just have a simple word of warning and I don't really know if this has happened to anybody else. I chose to do my last grinding where Tachikoma Shell did theirs and the game really messed with me and made me think I was losing it. A good while before that I had hit 20 out of the 50 and had yet to see the 30 by the time I started this grind. I figured I must have been one or two off. No. I killed at least 10 to 20 before the 30 even popped. I decided to keep count after this and I had to kill basically double the amount of elites before 40 and the same before 50 popped. So, if any of you think you are going crazy like I thought I was....you are not. It just worries me about other parts like the limbs, etc. It didnt happen with the fire demon or summoner. Just this guy. I just figured I would give a heads up. Could just be my machine is possessed. However, I am absolutely positive that the counter was off. Maybe restarting checkpoint too soon? I dunno.

Super Elites are a type of mini boss zombie which you will first encounter early in the game, they are much larger than normal zombies and have a high powered Machine Gun. The easiest way to defeat them is with explosives or repeat headshots with your sniper rifle, just be careful as they can deal a lot of damage if you stand too close so try and kill them from a safe distance. You will most likely unlock this trophy naturally through progression of the campaign as well as playing Horde mode.

Super Elites are quite a common enemy type. These are the big slow moving zombies with helmets and heavy machine guns. They take around 10 shots to the head on 'Cadet' to kill, and only headshots seem to phase them. You can kill them with body shots but it will take forever, and regular weapons don't do much so stick to the sniper. The Preacher and Panzerfraust do some damage but the sniper is the weapon of choice.

The super elite zombie has a weak spot in the head.
I played with a friend on the most difficult mode and I warn you right away: do not waste explosives on a super-elite zombie, they are weak for him. Only a sniper and only headshots

If you didn’t have enough throughout the entire campaign, then there is a good place where you can quickly finish them off. Chapter 2 mission 5. Having reached the control point in the place where the tanks are located and you are attacked by kamikazes. We quickly deal with them, go forward and find one at the beginning, and after dealing with them, going a little forward, we find the second one. Repeat until the trophy is achieved by restarting the last checkpoint.
A good example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OiJ-qRllX94
