How to unlock the I'll teach ya how to shoot! achievement in Zombie Army Trilogy - Definitive Guide

To get this achievement, all you need to do is survive until wave 10 (you do not have to complete it) and have the highest score by the time your team finally goes down.

To make it easier, you can hit "Select Difficulty" in the horde lobby and change it to Cadet, and then change "Enemy Setup" to "For 1 Player," which will make the game spawn the amount of enemies that you would get if you were playing solo.

The map I used was "Dead Man's Bluff." I would recommend this map because there are many places that you can run to, and there are plenty of choke-points.

For the scoring part of the achievement, work with whoever you are playing with and make sure that he knows that you are going for it. We were going back and forth between who had the most point, but that was because I was not worried about getting it at the time.

For weapons, I would highly recommend the Mosin Nagant because of its high velocity, but use whatever you are most comfortable with. For my side weapons, I usually run the PPSh-41 and the Luger P08.

I also ended up with the "I'll teach ya how to shoot!" achievement about a minute or so later. Both achievements go hand-in-hand (and with other maps if you don't like this one).

The easiest map to do this is Dead End. The entire map is basically one straight alley, which could be tricky for some players, but the plus point is there's no MG Gunner in this map.

I used the good old 12-Gauge Shotgun, and kept running up and down the alley shooting slow-moving, normal zombies. Before I knew it, I racked up a 60+ combo, with each kill adding substantial points. If you keep your combo high, you should get the highest point quite easily. I had over 46K without using my sniper rifle at all - the 2nd-placed player had 13K+.. And because I had such a high combo streak, I ended up having more gold medals as well, giving me the "Guts and Glory" at the same time.

PS: I was playing with randoms.

It all goes down to personal preference and either going to work while playing with randoms or taking turns with a friend.

I will agree that Dead End is probably the easiest because of how straightforward it is. Get those combos racked up and you'll be ahead of the competition in no time.

I got this solo on dead mans bluff. I stayed near the shotgun ammo and ran to the steeple when things got hairy. At the end of wave 9 i got "They're Coming To Get You Barbara" i then killed myself and unlocked "Guts And Glory" and "Ill Teach Ya How To Shoot.

I would recommend using shotgun 99% of the time and sniper for the jumping guys and pistol for emergency running.

This is easily done in a party. Someone creates a private match and invites someone else. Go into Horde Mode, and each player takes turns getting the highest score. It is also a good idea to do this on a map you have yet to reach wave 10 on, because then you will get two trophies instead of one. A good gun to use is the Shotgun as you can take down zombies en masse, increasing the chain count and scoring more points per kill.

Start as a host, fill the combo counter in the first waves, by wave 5-6-7 someone will randomly connect, but it’s unlikely that it will be possible to get ahead of you.

Combos are easy to hit with a shotgun and hard to miss.
