Found this on level 3 about halfway through. They are explosive barrels. After finding them I finished the level and when I went back to the road map area the achievement popped

Found on level 3, about half of the way through. They are explosive barrels. After finding them, finish the level or blow your self up. The achievement will pop on the car selection menu
On this level you can also find The Taxman (large pile of explosive barrels). You get only one achievement per run, you have to replay the level 2 times.
