How to unlock the Coin Collector achievement in Zuma - Definitive Guide

All this requires you to do is collect 100 coins in all your games.

You can see the total coins so far when you complete the level - it's the number in brackets.

Does this have to be done in one game? I dont see numbers in a bracket either. Where can I see the total number of coins I have?

Thanks

I also don't see the bracket. Is there any way to tell how many you've collected?

Do coins in Gauntlet count? Do you need to complete a level for the coins to count?

Sure, we call them parentheses over here, but that doesn't explain why those two seriously couldn't manage to find it. After completing a level or losing your last life, it shows your stats. Next to Coins there will be two numbers. The second number is your total coins collected across all games.

This is given for collecting 100 coins total in all games played. The easiest way to get this is to just play the first level. Collect the easy coin given, and then quit and restart. From my experience, you do not even have to complete the level, just get the coin.

If you want to feel like you are accomplishing something, use the time to attempt to complete the Sharp Shooter achievement. (Grab the coin on the level 1-1 games that you miss the 0:05 mark, restart and try again). Most likely you will get the 100 coins before you get the 0:05 (unless you are lucky as I was).

Mine did not count if I quit and restarted.

Same here, if you quit outer after collecting a coin it does not count. You must finish the level.

You need to get 100 coins total (does not have to be done in one sitting).

I can verify that your coins collected across all modes (Adventure, Survival, and Practice) are all added together and can be kept track of by the screen you get from completing a level as well as from losing all your lives and getting a game over screen. Your coins that you have total will be in parentheses and the coins you just earned this level or game will be to the left of the parentheses.

The achievement will pop at either the end of the level screen or when you lose your last life and get a game over screen.

There was some missinformation on this achievement, I hope this clears it up. I personally unlocked the achievement in Practice mode to test my theory. The first level is easy to do it on but there are many other levels that are good too.

This will accumulate, it must be done in on the adventure mode. Concentrate on coins only, hitting combo's and gaps are only going to restrict the time you have available on each level so avoid them if you can.
