How to unlock the Zumba Fire achievement in Zumba Fitness Rush - Definitive Guide

On average, you will burn 1000 calories in a medium class song. (That's considering that you get a 4-5 star rating). In theory, it will take the average person about 8-13 medium class with 4-5 star rating to each.

Please note that this is with the Medium Intensity class, not just one song.

Based on personal evaluation, I burn between 900-1300 calories per medium class.

(Note: Star ratings don't directly have an impact on calories burned, BUT the better you do with the technique, the more accurate you are to the instructor, meaning more calories burned.)

You will get these achievement in the process:

Zumba Fitness: RushWorld TravelerThe World Traveler achievement in Zumba Fitness: Rush worth 146 pointsPlay in all the venues

Zumba Fitness: RushTotal DancerThe Total Dancer achievement in Zumba Fitness: Rush worth 167 pointsPlay and complete every song, earning at least one star

And just as a note, you will get this achievement AFTER you finish the last song you need, not during.

Have Fun, Zumba Out! :)

can anyone vouch for the accuracy of the stats page? I added up all the calories burned across all months and am at about 12,000 and still no achievement. I'll let you know when it pops but yeah... cry

Same for me. 14,000 and no achievement. I'm starting over to see if that works. If anyone has a story like this but with an eventual achievement, let us know.

I got the achievement today after starting a new save. I made sure I was connected to XBL at the end of every class as well. Not sure if that's an issue but I thought I'd play it safe.

This happened to me too. I have a theory. I started this game back in March 2012. I let it collect dust for a while until I decided to pick it up again in July 2013. Based on the fact that these glitch posts just started this year and the fact that LitaOsiris corrected the problem by creating a new save game, maybe having too many days on the progress tracker is causing the glitch? Maybe only the first 6 months or the first year of progress tracker counts? Just a theory. Did anyone have this glitch with less than 6 months on their progress tracker?

I like that theory. For myself there was an 8 month gap between when I created the save file and when I picked the game back up. I had some back and forth emails four months ago with Majesco support about this glitch. They could not reproduce the issue at that time, but I have sent them this latest information. Hopefully I hear back.

I also had it glitch out on my calorie count. I'm up over 20K now and haven't unlocked the 10K achievement. I'm a bit ticked about it, honestly. I'm going to start a new save and try to unlock it that way, since that seems to be the solution, but I'm hoping it doesn't muck up the Completionist achievement for me since I'll be earning achievements across two save devices. I also had a large timespan between playings.

Well, I started up a new save and (hellishly) busted out 20K in 4 days. Both the 10K and 20K achievements popped on this new save. I'll keep you posted on whether or not this interferes with the "unlock all achievements" achievement.

If anyone is interested - despite having to start a new save to unlock the calorie achievements - I was able to switch back to my original save and finish off the videos and still get the completionist achievement. I was worried about issues due to the achievements being on two separate save devices, but it was fine.

I heard that these calorie achievements need to be reached by a week's time. Is there some truth to that?
