How to unlock the Pearl of Pain achievement in Army of Ruin - Definitive Guide
The key this achieve is to make sure you have no points in the weapons and trinket capacity upgrades which will put you at 4 weapons and 4 trinkets total. I recommend the below build. This will most likely free plent of money for other upgrades which will allow you to purchase more into favorite and other upgrades to compensate.
Character
Selina - Thorns per level, Skill is a heal and AOE curse, and starts with necro gauntlets. She is great early game and will help you snowball into late game easier where you won't need the thorns and heal as much.
Charms - I prioritize + projectiles first then damage then Projectile speed then attack size
Weapons
Ranger/Elven Bow - Best weapon in slot game imo. The weapons native Damage/Pierce/Knockback are hard to beat. Should always be favorited and prioritized for evolving. Add projectiles + projectile speed + Knockback from trinks/upgrades and it will give you crowd control and maximized DPS. Early game it has a disadvantage of only helping against foes to your right but soon as it evolves it becomes far more useful.
Toxic Stench/Rotting Coil - Scales really well early and mid-game and kills will usually be in your pickup range. Attack size will also maximize its potential.
Necromancer/Vampire Gauntlets - Also scale very well early game and will help you snowball. Late game you won't need as much but the leech is a big bonus of anything can get through your Coil and Elven Bow consistent DPS.
Flintlock Pistols - Your 4th weapon is the most optional but I like the pistols because of their high scaling damage and knockback. It is also a side-to-side attack which bodes well in a side-to-side map like Glacier.
Trinkets
Silver Bullets - Adds +100% Projectile Speed and +125% Knockback maxed out. This will push your Elven bow across the screen faster as well as your fire orbs faster around you. The knockback is really helpful for keeping foes at a distance.
Supply Crate - When full health +3 Projectile -10% Speed. Early game you might lose the skill from to time taking damage but once Ranger Bow is evolved this will double your DPS and the move speed and full health caveat will be an afterthought.
Armored Pads - 100% Attack Size 150% Knockback -20% Fire Rate. Make all your attacks bigger and your elven bow push everything even more at the cost of very minimal fire rate. Why Not?
4th Trinket is really wide open on options. Any + projectiles, damage or attack size contributions will help out but you might leave it dependent on what you need to evolve all your weapons.

I'm not sure why this specifically is a challenge and achievement, but if you have anything invested in capacity for weapons or trinkets, use to remove them. Use that extra money to favorite stuff that will make a really synchronized build where you can evolve all four weapons with your four trinkets you'll have. Refer to Anvil of Heaven (10G) for my build recommendations, and you should easily be able to afford three or four Favorites. Pick two weapons and two trinkets from the list, and you should be able to get a really good build together.

For example, playing as Selina:
- Necromancer Gauntlets (starting weapon) needs earth and wind
- Wolf's Fang needs earth and earth
- Mystical Firecracker needs earth and earth
- Volcanic Orbs needs earth and fire
- Magnifier (earth) - amazing for covering the screen with attacks
- Silver Bullet (wind) - amazing for crowd control
- Shackles (earth) - slows everyone down, great for crowd control
- Dragon's Heart (fire) - more damage, which is needed for late waves
