How to unlock the Speed Runner achievement in Aven Colony - Definitive Guide

This one took a couple tries but isn't too bad if you plan ahead. I've listed the mission order below, but you should fast-track it if you can. Optional trade missions in {curly brackets}, recommended steps in [square brackets]. I started the Earth History Center by Sol4 hour 15, completed construction by Sol4 hour 31, and got the achievement at Sol5 hour 8.

You will want to do a lot more workforce management here, filling drone construction buildings, research lab, chem plant, etc to make them 100% efficient and get that mission task over with. I also placed my earth history center within range of three different level 3 drone construction units so I had 9 drones working on it at 100% efficiency.

Note: commenters have noticed that you need 200+ citizens in order for the 'Survive 1 more Sol' objective to appear and qualify for the achievement criteria, so I also added this to the solution spoiler notes above.

Commenters also recommended the following additions to the guide:
- build extra iron/copper mines and nanite processors. @StevesTurn had 3 at max level.
- you have to win a referendum by the end of Sol 3, so you need at least 100 immigrants in Sol 2

Good guide. You should add a few things though. You have to win a referendum by the end of Sol 3, so you need at least 100 immigrants in Sol 2 (I know you put get two immigration centers, but you don't say why). You should also put that you need 200 people total before you reach the "Survive one more sol" step, so make sure you have room while you wait for the referendum. You should also add that it's worth it to stretch out towards all the cargo ships with construction drones, as some of them have 100 nanites in them and you likely are already stretching out those ways anyway. Plus, if you have the Earth History Center built early (I had it done before the end of Sol 3's referendum", the timer for "One More Sol" already starts before the goal officially shows up.

Otherwise +1 for me, got it first try using this solution. I did do the insane achievement on this map as well just before doing this one, so I was already practiced on what ended up being needed. Your solution is much more streamlined and nice though.

Good guide. Helped me building stuff in advance while I was waiting for exporting and manufacturing goods to finish.

I claimed victory by Sol 4 Hour 10.

Good guide. Really gave me the heads up. Was laughable to watch the rewards cashing in.

Thanks for adding the text!

I know the spoiler did work when I had started playing the game months ago and was scoping out the achievements.

Could you add that you need 200 citizens in order to win^^

I got it at the same time s doing the mission on insane. Of note: you also have to export the cerulean glow an win a referendum. nanites were tight because of the difficulty so I didn't have the referendum until sol 4 so i was worried that i wouldn't finish the "one more sol" mission in time but it apparently keeps track of time from when the history center is completed regardless of if you have the missions done up to there yet.

I agree with SweetArkhane, I can't get the win condition to pop "Survive for 1 more sol" until I have 200 civs.

First try, thank you for the list, put all your workers in both immigration centers. Also you can build the Earth history center before they give you the mission. The 1 Sol timer starts when you are done building the center even if you haven’t the mission yet. So don’t stress if the referendum is coming at the end of Sol 4 as far as the building is finished you are good.

this didnt pop for me, built the earth history centre near end of sol 4, when sol 5 came and went, nothing popped. not entirely sure what happened.
I tried it a few more times. it seemed to be linked in with the election.
i had built my earth centre by end of sol 3 with election mission started. end of sol 4 was election, mid of sol 5 was the completion. such an annoying achievement this was

Is this achievement glitched or something? I had the History center built early in Sol 4 and got the Victory! early in Sol 5 and it never popped.

@EricSpade - did you have 200 colonists? A couple people mentioned that you need 200 citizens to win. I'll add an edit to the guide now.

Good guide - I used it for my first mission (after tutorials) and finished around the same time you did on my first try. A few suggestions: maximize the employment on the immigration centers. It means you'll get much more colonists per trip, and it only takes 1 or 2 trips before you make up for the reduced workforce elsewhere. Also, build extra iron/copper mines and nanite processors - I had 3 at max level. The earth history center costs 420 (wink) nanites and if you only build what's listed in the guide, you may come up short. Also, build extra air purifiers.

Not sure why spoiler is broken but it doesn't work for me either (it used to). Here is the text:
[upgrade starting construction drone hub to level 3]
water pump
farm [melons]
wind turbine
mine [laser mine]
geothermal
outpost
nanite processor
mini storage
immigration center [recommend 2 of these as early as you can]
habitat
intake fan
trade hub
upgrade georthermal
grow melons
export melons
upgrade drones
build second drone construction hub
pick up a cargo pod from the map
storage depot
{export 160 rice}
battery
lightning tower
build 3 more buildings [makes sense to choose ones appearing next on this list]
[two more farms: one for Entari, and one for Xenosage]
upgrade a farm
research center
research Cerulean Glow (needs Entari and Xenosage]
{export broccoli} [later optional export missions are barley, and then barley again]
chemical plant
manufacture 200 Cerulean Glow
build another geothermal plant
bar & grill
build 4 more buildings [makes sense to choose ones appearing next on this list]
scrubber drones: this cannot be one of the '4 more' as it is dialog gated
police drones
retail outlet
hospital
mine 100 zorium
zorium generator
skyscraper
Earth history center
survive one more sol (once construction is complete)

Hmm, no, you should be working ahead to complete objectives before they are requested, that way they are achieved automatically as the mission progresses. I must admit, I can't remember how air quality and morale are determined in this game and don't have any specific advice for you. It's fine to deviate from this build plan to construct additional structures if needed by the colony though, the idea with my solution was simply to give you a heads up regarding the gated requirements.

Also, pay attention to layout - as I recall things like the bar&grill have an influence radius, and should be placed where they can do the most good.

@PsiScream - Sure did... I gave it a second try and got the achievement. This time I concentrated on getting the History Center built during Sol 3 (in the summer, before the election was over) and I had over 200 colonists when I won the election, and then used your guide to get all the required buildings and stuff completed ahead of time, so the objectives completed quickly one after the other from late Sol 3 and into Sol 4. And since it counts the time for "one more sol" from when the History Center was actually built, I able to achieve Victory! in the summer of Sol 4.

You have to fulfill upcoming objectives well before they are presented to you. If you follow this list you should have the mission completed prior to Sol 5. The most important part is to build your colony quickly to have the "Win a Referendum" Objective completed during Sol 3. Not all Export missions are required to achieve the victory conditions. If anything is going to screw you out of this trophy, it will the food related trade missions but especially the ones for Broccoli and Barley so build as many farms and greenhouses as you can afford. Taking advantage of the Potash bonus will also help you out so make sure you build a Potash Mine.

Also note that abusing the x8 Speed option can cause you to lose out on the trophy so only use it briefly whilst building something, then put it back to x1 speed. Building whilst paused (speed set to 0) can also save you valuable time later on.

Build a Water Pump
Build a Farm
Build a Wind Turbine
Build a Mine on Copper
Build a Geothermal Generator
Build an Outpost
Build a Nanite Processor
Build a Mini-Storage Depot
Build an Immigration Center
Build a Habitat
Build an Intake Fan
Build a Trade Hub
Grow 100 Melons
Export 100 Melons
Upgrade the Geothermal Generator
Upgrade the Construction Drone Hub
Build a second Construction Drone Hub
Pick up the Cargo Pod (The nearest one is on the far left of the map)
Export 160 Rice
Build a Storage Depot
Build an Energy Battery
Build a Lightning Tower
Construct 3 Additional Buildings
Upgrade a Farm (though not a Greenhouse, as those don't count)
Export 200 Broccoli
Build a Research Center
Research Cerulean Glow
Build a Chemical Plant
Manufacture 200 Cerulean Glow
Export 250 Barley
Export 200 Cerulean Glow
Win a Referendum (Get to 100 Population ASAP)
Import 300 Goldbloom (Requires 250 Barley)
Build another Geothermal Generator
Build a Bar & Grill
Construct 4 Additional Buildings
Build a Skyscraper
Research Entari Bread & Entari Oatmeal
Build a Mill
Export 350 Entari Bread (It takes 350 Wheat & Entari to make enough Entari Bread to fulfil the contract)
Scrubber Drones
Build a Police Drone Hub
Build a Retail Center
Build a Hospital
Mine 100 Zorium
Build a Zorium Generator
Export 500 Xenoglow (Research & Xeno Sage Required)
Build an Earth History Center
Keep the Earth History Center Functioning for 1 Sol

If you get stuck, use this video as a baseline (credit to tyler Randumbness):

The trophy is easy to obtain. The main task to remember is that:
  • we take the electrician skill (electricity will be needed for buildings depending on the population size and other nonsense + the construction of a zorium generator and a geothermal source will be cheaper);
  • we remember that we need a zorium mine, so we lead the city in its direction, we build a geothermal source only on the way to it;
  • as quickly as possible you need to build 1 mine and 1 nanite production with maximum up and maximum priority, then there will be no problems with nanites;
  • The megastructure must be built no later than the end of the 4th sol, then upon receiving the task, the timer will start counting from the moment of actual construction (the center of earthly history);
  • You will need at least 1 farm (upgrade task), so as not to build unnecessary things, when you realize that there is enough food, you need to collect components for azure shine (100 watermelons per task, entari and xenosage for azure shine);
  • you will need at least 2 immigration centers (maximum priority), 1 shopping center (maximum priority for receiving the task) and a research center, remember this and build according to the availability of resources.
  • remember that for the mission you need to reach 200 population;
  • and, of course, we demolish all the original buildings, except for the population, as quickly as possible.
For convenience, I list the tasks (can be swapped):
  • build a water pump (don’t forget to improve it and keep an eye on the workers);
  • build a farm (we build for watermelons + immediately improve and set maximum priority);
  • build a wind turbine;
  • build a mine on copper deposits (immediately maximum AP and priority, we always take nanites as a reward);
  • build an outpost;
  • build a nanite factory (immediately set maximum uptime and set maximum priority);
  • build a small warehouse (can be immediately demolished after construction);
  • build an energy battery;
  • build a lightning tower;
  • 1st: reach a population of 50 people, 2nd: build a dwelling (in front of the dwelling it is best to build an outpost at the zorium mine);
  • build a shopping center;
  • reach a population of 100 people;
  • after the construction of the shopping center - export 100 watermelons;
  • pick up a cargo container (can be completed without waiting for the task, the easiest way is in the southwest a little further than two bodies of water);
  • build 3 additional buildings;
  • develop azure shine (after studying the institute can be deactivated, but not demolished);
  • win the referendum (if you don’t completely neglect the ventilation of the 1st level and police stations, then there will be no problems);
  • produce 200 units of azure glitter;
  • export 200 units of azure glitter (we demolish the chemical plant, all farms and greenhouses, remember the maximum priority of the shopping center; after completion, the shopping center can be demolished);
  • build another geothermal generator (we build the 1st level without reaching the end of the road and immediately demolish it along with the technical buildings);
  • build a snack bar;
  • build 4 additional buildings (translation error, you need 5);
  • build a drone-cleaner (try to place the drone in the center in a single copy, after completing the task the parasites will immediately arrive);
  • build a police drone;
  • build a retail store (it’s better not to demolish it; I still had a referendum for this task);
  • build a hospital (it’s better not to demolish it; I still had a referendum for this task);
  • build the center of earth's history;
  • reach a population of 200 people.

The rarest trophy in statistics and, in my opinion, the most difficult, because I lost 3 times. Main problems 2: meeting on time and surviving the elections. There is not as much money for the mission as we would like, which is why, while running around mission goals, there is no extra money to clean the air, so the mood of the residents is that the elections will be lost. Also, after the final task to build an expensive mega-structure, you still need a whole sol for it to stand (although for some reason the timer flies by faster, which saved me). There are several tips. In addition to the fact that it is necessary to increase finances from the mines as quickly as possible, as well as collect all the containers, it is extremely important to immediately build at least 3, and preferably 4 spaceports for population growth, because otherwise, at the pace of developing the colony, you will very quickly run into an acute shortage of inhabitants and you will lose in time. In addition, if possible, build at least 3-4 max level air purifiers. Yes, they will not make the air in the colony ideal, but they will be enough to avoid losing the elections, and they will not empty the budget. It is even more important to build a research center as quickly as possible, since missions require a lot of research requirements that take an indecently long time. In this case, you will have to use save/load to research and produce the necessary things before they are given a task for them, this will save a huge amount of time. And try to build a megastructure before they give you a task for it, you can even sell unnecessary buildings towards the end of the mission. It takes a long time to build, and saving money for it in the end risks not meeting the deadline. The rest of the development is more or less standard.

Everything turned out to be as simple as shelling pears, the main thing was to build a skyscraper, a zorium reactor and, of course, the very center of earthly history before the elections.
The “last sol” countdown begins not from the moment the task is dropped, but from the moment the center is built. So after the elections, when I got the task, the “last sol” was already 80% progress.
-----
you need at least 3 emigration centers, at maximum copper and iron mines and at least two nanite factories. Take all prizes with nanites. Almost no air purifiers were built, morale for the elections was 48%. But I had the “politician” perk + to spirit and won with 45% of the votes. So you don’t have to worry too much about the morale of the colonists.
