How to unlock the Campaign Kitty achievement in Batman Arkham City - Definitive Guide

I wouldn't recommend going for this one until you've done all the ranked challenges and feel confident on how to do them. Also I wont go into detail on how to do them since there's already a guide for the individual maps. This will only cover the extreme versions of maps.

Midnight Assault:
For Natural Selection put increased aggression on and scattered weapons on. These wont make this map much harder just watch were you walk. If you die quit out instead of restarting, it's rather a waste of a retry if you don't. For hell's gate put on danger zones. If you can't seem to get enough points put on free medal since it's not hard to get the medals for meltdown mayhem, use replenishing health on whichever one you feel most unsure about but probably not the combat since it isn't all that helpful in combat.

Hostile Takeover:
For prison riot put on time limit, one arm tied and super powered. Quit if you don't get the points you need. Since one of the medals requires you don't get hit put decreased health on police brutality and take all the time you need, I'd recommend only doing silent takedowns until the last two and only doing them on the elevated parts of the room. That leaves protective aura for funhouse brawl, if everything goes well you should have enough points by the end of the third round. On the fourth round (I kept getting killed on this round) immediately get a combo on the one armed thug evading over him when he's about to swing or you're about to be hit and hit his other side. Do this until he's down. Once he is it's time to be really cheap and get the titans to charge through the large group of enemies (they'll hurt guys even if they have protective aura) until it's just the two of them left, you can get them to hurt each other or just super stun then hit them until they're down.

Double Jeopardy:
If there is any proof that the people who made this game are awesome people, it's that they made sure free medal was available on end of the line. For lost city I can't recommend turning on any of the modifiers (except maybe takedown projectiles which I don't find helpful at all) just proceed like normal, for rooftop rumble turn on gadget malfunction (since gadgets aren't necessary for combat) and scattered weapons (just keep an eye out for things being thrown at you), lastly for end of the line use the free medal in place of the double ledge takedown and since you can just hide in the vent (after getting the two medals) the increased aggression and protective aura shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Ruthless Vengeance:
For survival of the fittest turn on gadget malfunction (though since it'll have to be scrambled for the next map you could turn it on then), time limit, and decreased health. For top of the world turn on one hand tied (silent takedowns would be useless anyway since you wont be able to see where the other enemies are) leaving blind justice with danger zones and super powered.

Predator Master:
For police brutality the only modifier you're going to want on is scattered weapons and make sure you watch your step else you lose the medal to a mine, once you get it done put on time limit (this is really the only map you can do it on) and increased aggression for natural selection, leaving end of the line with protective aura, danger zones (which is fine because the vantage points on this map aren't very helpful), and free medal (for the double ledge takedown). So nice of the developers to make sure end of the line isn't impossible.

Combat Master:
For blind justice throw on decreased health, scattered weapons, and gadget malfunction. For rooftop rumble go with one hand tied and super powered, leaving protective aura for hell's gate.

Right, hope this helps people get this achievement, good luck.

While at first she was a novelty, after these predator challenges I hate her compared to Batman lol...

Yeah she's no fun! Ugh so dumb trying to get her to jump to certain vantage points, so glad to be done with her, hope Robin and Nightwing are more fun...

Restarting on the first challenge of a campaign doesn't use up a retry.

Yeah if you restart on the first challenge of any campaign; it does not count as a retry.

Great help for me, as Catwoman is weakest than Batman and have less possibilities like destroying opponents weapons, solution of using and using and using A+A and X gives me key to a quick chalenge ending.

Rocksteady are awesome developers...mostly. The Predator map with the absolute WORST design is the ONLY one you must complete without Thief Vision. Silent Takedowns aren't useless either, you just just have be really careful. Thank God for the should-be-suicide-but-isn't jumping off exploit.
They also gave an extremely weaker character less health. Only the first 6 campaigns left.....

Incomplete solution. No thoughts on Predator Expert??? I know you said you're only going to detail extreme versions, but that's only half of the campaigns!

Predator expert missions almost require using videos to show how to do, technology I lack so I contributed what I could.

Your guide was pretty good, but sorry, but I disagree with your opinion about Ruthless Vengence, Rhyolitic had the right set-up,......

You stated that "(silent takedowns would be useless anyway since you wont be able to see where the other enemies are)", are you kidding? Its a necessity in this level!!

After I take out the first guy in the beginning, and throw the caltrops by the ladder, then take that guy out for the first medal, I go through the fireplace and ledge takedown as much as I can.....where the silent takedowns come in play is when a henchman is looking over the railing at his hanging partner, then I sneak behind him and take him out!!

When you use Gadget Malfunction on that level, you're not wasting it, in fact its a plus to use it then, and get it out of the way on that level where you are handicapped anyways!!

Actually Top of the World is a great map to use "Danger Zones" as well!!!!

Top Of The World (don’t use danger zones).

From the start, jump far left onto the ledge crawl around till you see a guy standing, position yourself to his left, another will appear, wait and you can get a double take down (same as on the Robin guide). Move right and up onto a gargoyle, move back and forth till you see a guard come out onto a balcony, throw caltrops at his feet, he’ll fall, jump down and take him out. Far easier than anything convoluted.
Continue the rest as you see fit.

For Ruthless Vengence, I saved the Gadget Malfunction for the Top Of The World (Extreme) due to the fact that you are going to be spending the entirety of the map without usage of the Thief Vision anyways, since you have to take out the Jammer guy last. Blind Justice (Extreme) in that one gets the Decreased Health and bonus-to-the-player. The other three options go to Survival of the Fittest (Extreme).

One setups that had End Of The Lines (Extreme) also has the One-Hit Kill w/Quickfire Gadget options. I used that on it, combined with the Free Medal, and it worked like a treat.

Hi guys, since I'm trying to get this achievement for ages now I've noticed that the PREDATOR MASTER CHALLENGE is the hardest with Catwoman.

Take good notes from the other two posts (by Punderstatement & Dave Dio). But this one IMO really needed a visual guide and I found the best one. Follow EXACTLY his penalty choices & path and you will get the nine medals for this challenge in no time.

Thanks & Credits goes out to zI Drucifer Iz (former *locodez*)

I haven't played this game yet, but just from judging from this video, does the game not get repetitive? I mean this game has been highly praised, but if this is all you do, I am very let down.

@ xBrushedRedx: True true but come on really, how can you dislike to guide this FINE ASS through every campaign. The only reason that kept me going beside the achievements. ;)

The only things I really followed in the guide were the mutator usages and maybe the first knockouts. Everything else (like the aura in Police Brutality) was completely based on luck in this guys play through and was pretty tough to replicate.

But in the end, it did help me do this campaign. +1 from me.

This is a guide JUST for one campaign that happens to be the biggest pain in the butt!! Ruthless Vengeance!

Almost forgot to give credit where it was due, thank you Rhyolitic because of his idea of modifier selections is why I was finally able to beat this, and have the courage and confidence to do it 5 more times, I just moved "Danger Zones" to the next map.......

I redid this whole campaign 5 more times after beating it (getting 9 medals each time) just so my guide is as accurate as possible, and the ONLY times I needed to restart Top of the World was either me making a dumb move (like letting a mine kill me) or weird glitches like the "balcony bomb" being set down already or taking out #1 too late....

Map 1: Survival of the Fittest

Goal: 60,000 for all 3 medals

Modifier Selection: You want to pick "Time Limit" and "One Hand Tied". (You are probably thinking, "Why didn't he choose "Danger Zones" since this is the first map? Good question...henchmen with guns love killing combos and actually make this map a heck of a LOT harder especially with the Titan in rounds 2 & 4)

Tip 1: Stay as close to the Titan as possible, I know it sounds like suicide, but remember, you are invincible while vaulting over enemies and also while you are doing a (cn_Y + cn_B) or the (cn_A + cn_X) takedowns...

Tip 2: Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT use the (cn_A + cn_B) takedown move during Titan rounds (2 & 4) because the Titan can always hit right through it, use the (cn_A + cn_X) instead, it keeps the Titan in check (most of the time, I only got hit by him twice since I followed this strategy).....

Like I stated, I redid this campaign 5 more times after beating it, for rounds two and four, all I did was jump over the Titan, hit a henchman, jump Titan again, and hit another guy, so on and so forth, and then did the (cn_B + cn_Y) combo on the last guy, ultra stunned the Titan, then went to town on his big @$$

Tip 3: I know you read "take the Titan out first" all the time, but believe me, with Catwoman, its easiest to leave the Titan for last!!! Reason? With Batman, Robin, and Nightwing, they can ride the Titan after 6 or so hits...Catwoman can't, so you risk getting hit from behind losing a good combo.......A LOT!!! Or if you feel froggy, just try to take him out first, remember when Catwoman does a backflip kick, its time to ultra-stun the Titan again....

Tip 4: If you get hit or lose your combo, don't trip, just keep calm, Catwoman is one of the best at regaining a lost combo.......

How to pass the first map? For rounds 1 & 3, just do what you are most comfortable with regarding gadgets and combos. For rounds 2 & 4, all you need to do is press (X), jump over the Titan, then press (X) again to hit another henchman and keep at it till you get the yellow combat meter.....whether you want to use it for a (B + Y) combo or the (A + X) is all up to you...personally, I only like using the (B + Y) takedown if I am low on time in round 4 and having at least a 40+ combo going.....

Map 2: Top of the World (Our favorite!!)

Goals:
Cat Fight: Beatdown an armed henchman
Caltrop Trip: Knock down an enemy with caltrips then take him down..
Don't Touch That Dial: Leave the Jammer guy for last

Modifier Selection: Choose "Danger Zones" and "Gadget Malfunction"
(When you use Gadget Malfunction on this map, you're not wasting it, in fact its a plus to use it then, and get it out of the way when you are handicapped not being able to use your Thief Vision the whole round anyways!! Why waste it to handicap yourself further on another map? As for choosing Danger Zones, trust me, we will NOT need the gargoyles, in fact, they make this map even harder!!)

Tip 1: Be patient!!

Tip 2: Take your time, you really don't want to take any risks!

Tip 3: Remember that like all predator maps, only the beginning patterns are set, the rest are based on your actions and stealth (or lack of)

Tip 4: If you are not spotted, enemies can't hear Catwoman run, so you are safe to run at one from behind

FOREWORD: I know you've probably seen the videos where they hang from the balcony, and watch for the guy on the left turning around the boxes and run behind him and do a silent takedown, throw the caltrops in front of the fireplace then run and hide behind the boxes.....BUT...its too risky so we are doing it this way....

(Getting rid of henchmen #1 and #2) (and possible #3)

When the round starts, press and hold cn_RB to hang from the balcony, move to your left, and watch for the guy on the left, as soon as he turns going right in front of the boxes, run up behind him and do a silent takedown (if you are too late and get him by the fire extinguisher, you very well may lose the easy caltrop opportunity), during the takedown press cn_right to equip the caltrops, then aim and throw the caltrops in front of the fireplace, and another just to the right just to be safe...

Listen very carefully to what I am about to say and do not think you know best. (Sorry, I saw that in a solution for Campaign Wonder, and it made me chuckle.)

As soon as you throw the second caltrops, hold down cn_RT and keep it held down!! You will need to crawl into the fireplace and turn around, you will hear a henchman say "We have a casualty" then he will jump over the railing conveniently right onto the caltrops right in front of you!!! Crawl toward him while still holding down cn_RT, spamming cn_Y, and do the takedown, immediately turn around and crawl back to the fireplace and follow the vent to the "safe room" and hang from the ledge immediately heading left.

Note: Sometimes two henchmen will jump onto the caltrops instead of one, and this is why I said to hold the RT button down, and spam the (Y) button, knock them both out and enter the fireplace asap!! (I found that the faster I took down the first guy meant that he was just a tad bit closer to the fireplace which greatly INCREASES the chance that two henchmen would jump the railing onto your waiting caltrops!)

Important note: Having two henchmen fall on the caltrops will change the pattern just a bit, sometimes for the better so just be extra cautious

(Getting rid of henchmen #3, #4, & #5) (Or #4, #5 and #6)

Follow the ledge until you get to the balcony that is left of the starting balcony. If only one henchman fell onto the caltrops, there will be a henchman coming outside to scan a gargoyle, do a ledge take down and move to the opposite side. (Sometimes I get a guy scanning at the starting balcony first) If you are late or if 2 guys fell on the calrops, thats fine, just hang out and wait. (I'd love to say no pun intended, but that would be a lie, lol)

The most important reason we are here is because the red armored henchman ALWAYS and I repeat ALWAYS places a mine right smack in the middle of this balcony closest to the railing just begging for a ledge takedown! (Sometimes he is there right away, and sometimes, its a little wait, just DO NOT leave that balcony until you are able to ledge takedown him)

Important note: VERY RARELY, a mine gets placed before I get there, if that is the case, I'm afraid you might want to restart because its hard to get a ledge takedown on him otherwise, and a beatdown is just plain suicide!!

Depending if you got the first guy scanning, there will be two unarmored henchmen to see what happened, its VERY IMPORTANT to wait until BOTH are looking over the railing all you need to do is climb up while they are looking down and run/slide to knock them down, then just knock out ONE of them and jump over the railing ASAP!!! Sometimes I got very lucky where they were right next to each other and I was able to hold the cn_RT button down, and spam the cn_Y button, knock them both out and jump the railing asap!!

Important note: There may be times where you get lucky and a single unarmored henchman does a check on a hanging henchman, very easy to sneak up behind them, and do a silent takedown (if you hear more coming, or someone is shooting you, just press (X) to slam them, then jump over the railing and get the heck out of dodge!!

You should now have 2 (maybe 1 if you are lucky enough) unarmored henchmen and the jammer guy left. The bad part is I've noticed that when there are 2 or 3 guys left, they DO NOT go outside anymore, (thats because those two unarmored henchmen don't have the thermal glasses) and thats when this round becomes all about patience..

(Getting rid of henchman #6)

There is an opening that was a "red blimp" painting which is another "safe room" that has the vent that leads up to the second floor..if #6 is already out on the balcony, WAIT, because he is actively looking for you. (you more then likely might be able to get a silent takedown on him as well)
...wait by the balcony to the right until a lone henchman starts walking to your right, what is going to happen most of the time is Jammer guy drops from the ladder, then #7, then comes #6, now climb up and run behind him for an easy takedown/slam, then run like heck outside and over the railing (unless you are able to grapple up to the upper center area).......

(Getting rid of henchman #7)

Now its time to enter the vent in the safe room, and from this vent, wait until its safe to "grapple" to the center platform, or if the henchman is alone to do the takedown
(sometimes it easier to get him where you got #6

(Getting rid of the jammer henchman)

Go back to the "safe room" that has the vent that leads up to the second floor, from this vent, wait until its safe to sneak up behind the jammer guy, press (B) to stun him, then do the beatdown for medals 2 & 3 and the win!!!

Please note, that there are a lot of ways to get #6 and #7, sometimes you can just get lucky, while other times its a pain in the @$$........just don't give up and learn the patterns......

Map 3: Blind Justice

Goal: 32,000 for all 3 medals

Modifier Selection: The last two are already chosen for you....

Tip: If you need to go potty, make sure you pause the game, because that is the ONLY way you are going need to restart this map, lol!

With only needing 32,000, having decreased health and super powered, this map is a joke, easy 3 medals here.......no reason to get less then 60,000 here (my lowest ever score)

For Predator Master, I found that Police Brutality is fine with Time Limit, Danger Zones and Increased Agression. You can pick up the bloke through the glass roof immediately, go back up through the roof and then the jammer will walk out and stand just in front of the raised section, so you can drop off, take him out quietly and jump back up.

You'll have more than three minutes on the clock and this is an easy room to prowl around without the gargoyles. If they spot you and do minor damage, you can still get Bullet Proof if it didn't exceed your armour.

I wanted to do a guide of the extreme campaign maps for the Cats campaign and a guide for the last map predator master, which will be in detail at the end of the guide.
I have spent the last week doing the campaign missions and wanted to make a guide how i did it that might help anybody who is having problems.

Double Jeapody
lost city - increased enemy agression/ aura
Rooftop Rumble - gadget malfunction/ scattered weapons
End of the Line - takedown projectiles/ free medal

Hostile Takeover
Prison Riot - decreased health/ time limit/ aura
Police Brutality - super powered
Funhouse Brawl - one hand tied

Midnight Assault
Natural Selection - increased enemy agression/ replenishing health
Hells Gate - scattered weapons/ danger zones
Meltdown Mayhem - free medal

Ruthless Vengeance
Survival of the Fittest - time limit/ one hand tied/ decreased health
Top of the World - gadget malfunction/ super powered
Blind Justice - danger zones

Combat Master
Blind Justice - decreased health/ scattered weapons
Rooftop Rumble - gadget malfunction/ aura/ one hand tied
Hells Gate - superpowered

Predator Master
Police Brutality - time limit/ danger zones/ scattered weapons
Natural Selection - increased enemy aggression/ aura
End of the Line - free medal

Ok heres some more detail for Predator Master and il explain my method.

Police Brutality
This is easy when you know the perfect route to take and i have got it down so i can take out 4 enemys in 10 or so seconds before the rest even reach the first body that died. Heres a step by step guide to how i do it. Remember we are using time limit, danger zones and scattered weapons.

1st kill - Drop off the vantage point immediately and avoiding the mine, run down the stairs and silent takdown the guy closest to you on your slight left.
2nd kill - Turn right but go the left side of the desk thing instead of to the right where another mine is. Run for a second then crawl and in front of you in the middle of the room the jammer guy will come up the stairs and turn left away from you, run up and silent takedown him.
3rd kill - Turn to your left facing down the stairs is another guy with his back to you, run up avoiding another mine and silent takedown him.
4th kill - Put on cat vision and up the stairs will be another guy who will be calling to the others about the 1st guy you killed that he has seen. He will run down the stairs in front of you and stop and wave his arm to the others. Hug the wall to your right before he comes down the stairs into your view, crawl up and silent takedown him but add the knockdown smash for the medal.
Now turn left and run to the doorway that the 1st guy came out at the start that you killed and do a corner cover. If all went well you will have killed 4/7 men in about 30 seconds in all. Now the enemys will behave randomly so its harder to anticipate what they will do.
One guy should go to get the hostage useually so leave him until last, the other two simply wait for one to stray near your door and silent takedown him, for kill 5.
6th kill - He will always check the previous body so hang back then from behind do LT + Y to do whip disarm, for the other medal.
7th and final kill - Now simply make your way to the hostage and takedown him from behind avoiding the mines by the grate as you go.
Then you will get the bulletproof medal and it only took you about 2 or so minutes.
You have just used up scatterd weapons (mines) & danger zones (no vantage points) without breaking a sweat. After doing this so many times i did the mission on ranked challenge and first time i posted a time of 1.39.07, that is currently 434th in the leaderboard.

Natural Selection
This isnt too hard but we want to use aura and increased enemy aggression so that makes it abit tougher but not much.
You want to get on the otherside of the breakable that is in front of you at the start.
Run straight ahead and at the end of the corridor on your right is a broken display cabint, hop in here turn the corner left and take the first left again and whip up to the hole in the roof. Wall takedown the guard here for the first medal and drop down to the ledge you came from. If you are lucky you can get 2-3 ledge takedowns as they all come to investigate here before they figure out whats going on. As you have increased enemy awareness they will spot you and shoot eventually so dont milk it for long. After 2 or 3 ledge takedowns in quick sucession or you get spotted, drop down and run to the end of the corridor so the others cant shoot or grenade you. Now you have options, either press a display button downstairs in the corner of the map to get the others down or wait to pick of another straggler guy downstairs to get the others down to investigate. The sniper should stay in the middle on the bridge unless he is 1 of 3 enemys left and then he will useually investigate with the others, which is why i would only get 2 legde takedowns after the wall takedown 1st kill. Get back up the hole near the first kill or up on the vantage points or just run to the bridge and beat down the sniper, for the 2nd medal and then escape to the vantage points. Now simply pick of the last 2 or 3 from there getting you the pounce takedown kill move as you mop up. Thats all 3 medals.

End of the Line
Here was the one that really annoyed me for days, i tried many different double ledge takedown methods and moves as shown on youtube but ultimately they are so unreliable that it isnt worth the risk. And since we saved the free medal we dont even have to try.
Firstly run to the right and hop in the grate under the area on the far right. Crawl inside to the end and a jammer should walk in front of you after a short while, get the grate takedown medal with him. Now run the way he came from, going through the carriage and turning right running to the end of the area underneath the sniper furthest from where you started the level. Whip up to the hole in the roof and whip takedown finish him for the second medal. Now you have all 3 including the free medal. At this point there is still 2 snipers on the middle walkway and 5 guards roaming around. Wait for quite a time and crawl down and under the bridge, avoiding the mine that a guy always plants to your right of here. You want to whip up to the walkway and ledge takedown an armoured sniper, if you get really lucky you might even get the double takedown on the 2 snipers aswel but dont hang about to long or you will get spotted, and do not press up at any point or you will jump up to the walkway after the kill. Once you get a takedown drop and turn and run back to the hole in the roof room you got the second kill in. Now either repeat on the other sniper what you just did or pick off one or two others. Now you are free to go up to the vantage points to easily finish off the stragglers. Depending on how long you took you may find more mines dotted around the map so watch out for that.

Thats it how i did it, easily the hardest campaign for the cat in my opinion. I hope some or all of my tips helped somebody. Good luck.

The Campaign Challenges function the same way as Batman's and you do have to complete all of them again as Catwoman. They are the same challenges that you've done before, so they shouldn't give you too much trouble. These are the modifiers that I used. You can make your own combinations if these aren't working for you, but they worked well for me. Remember, you only get three retries total, but you get unlimited retries on the first challenge room.

See Campaign Nightwing for the complete list of modifiers that I used. You can also use KingBroly's guide for the modifiers since they will work too.

Note: The challenges that you have to do for the trophy are the same ones that you had to do as Batman. The following challenges DO NOT count for the trophy. Any medals that you get in them will not matter.

  • Black Mask Campaign
  • Wayne Manor Campaign
