How to unlock the Ding Ding! achievement in BlazBlue: Continuum Shift - Definitive Guide

[Network] Reached D-code level 50

This achievement is the Lvl 50 in Online Mode, either via Ranked or Player matches.

The total XP required for lvl 50 is 58,407,300!!!!

Lvl 40 is around 20,000,000, so those last 10 levels are going to take FOREVER!

BOOSTING METHOD
Requirements:
*Each player having a Turbo Controller (Fightstick or Turbo function)
*Leaving your Xbox on for roughly 30-40 hours total. (Usually left mine online overnight)

2 Players
1 Private Slot
1 Round
30 Seconds

Go to a player match, whoever is higher rank sets up the match and will be the loser for the night.

*The person thats going to win is always wanting to choose Jin and the loser will pick Ragna. Jin's ice block will hit Ragna 1st, and push him away, resulting in a time out win.

Set turbo to "A" button and let it run.

Alternate the next boosting session to the other player as you will gain more XP if the lower player wins. You get a ton more points if a Lvl 20 beats a Lvl 40 than the other way around.

Good luck and if you are going to leave Negative Feedback, please post why you did...

Yeah what DrCanadianNinja said.

Mu-12 beating Carl takes 13 secs and I went over 500 matches last night.
It would be nice to add those characters into the actual solution.
Loser: Carl (best imo) or Rachel
Winner: Mu-12 (easily best choice) or Noel.

Still it's a good solution, you shall have my thumb up.

Mu12 (winning) against Carl = 13 seconds, confirmed. If your ping is low you could reduce sync times a lot, at the moment we're doing a bit more than a fight per minute. I went from lvl 25 to 47 (against a lvl 40 opponent) in 12 hours non-stop. Hoping to reach lvl 50 within 3-4 hours. It's a long, bloody long grind. Thank you devs.

I'm currently doing this boost myself and I've noticed a few things that could speed up the process for everyone, mainly regarding Ragna vs. Jin. First of all, whatever characters are chosen are set up by default on the next match. In other words, whatever two characters you choose, you can continue to turbo.

The ideal losing party would actually be Rachel, Tsubaki, or Valkenhayn. Rachel just pushes around with A, Tsubaki charges her special, and Valkenhayn shifts forms.

The ideal winning party would be Noel, Taokaka, or Mu-12. This is because even if they hit their opponents, subsequent attacks will hit as well, thereby defeating their opponent, winning the match, and getting extra points for perfect victories.

As of this writing, I'm boosting Mu-12 (winning) vs. Ragna (losing). All fights are won perfectly in 16 seconds, meaning more matches and points per hour. I'll likely be back tomorrow to see if I can get it down any lower.

In the last game we had to level ourselves up to level 30 which was a pretty hard feat for some, however this time around it's level 50 now and you cannot boost it like in Calamity Trigger (unless you want to boost it with turbo controllers). Matches are done like quick match, it will randomly give you an opponent so you can't pick and choose who you fight so I recommend getting better with your character for this. The higher level your opponent ,the more points you will get. Also keep in mind that the following factors (same as the last game) in each match will give you a couple of bonus points:

  • Perfect Match
  • Perfect Victory
  • Straight Victory
  • DD Finish
  • AH Finish
  • Didn't Barrier Burst
  • First Attack

If you are interested in boosting it with turbo controllers in a player match here's the method: Boosting Method
