How to unlock the Random Select Main achievement in Brawlout - Definitive Guide

Hello guys, i will give it a try with a 4 Controller method in Couchgames. Set stocks to five.
I try to get all the other in one line and spam X, as soon they are close to 50% damage i kick them off the platform with a charged B, this will give me 500-750 xp in 1min 30 sec. You get extra exp for wins in a row, after some time 950xp each match.
It is still a long grind, but i see no quicker way.
Happy Hunting

Going to be a long but as in depth as I can be guide.
Haven’t grinded this game in a few months so I’m not gonna use any exact numbers but I will go into detail on how to best earn xp.

This achievement took me nearly 1600 couch games at between 1-2 minutes per game depending on the character I was playing. You don’t get extra xp for multiple wins or games in a row. However you do get more xp depending on how high the mastery is of the characters you are versing.

I played on my account and had three guests accounts signed in. The guests keep there masteries while the game is running. If you close the game, the masteries reset. Every bit of xp the guests earn gets transferred to the characters on the main account and also levels the guests characters up too.
Because of this. What I would normally do was set up game (I’ll explain more later) and I would start playing on my 1st guest account and level the character to 5. Then my second to 5 and the third to 5. Doing this transfers all the xp towards the characters being used for the main account. Also when you start to grind on your main account you will earn bonus xp for having 15 total masteries between the opponents.

The way Id set up my games were stock with 5 lives and the first map (with the platform on top centre). I’d pick my guests on characters I wanted to earn xp on, but not bigger characters like Olaf because they require more damage to ko. I’d start the match and move all the guests to the side, and pretty much with every character I would just jab light attacks without finishing the combos. By just jabbing and not finishing the combo, the characters won’t get knocked off the edge. At around 50 damage for each, I’d charge an attack and ko all 3. They than all spawn top centre and I’d start jabbing again till 50, than rinse and repeat.
Depending on the character you pick will depend on the speed of the jabs and damage, which makes the game longer or shorter. Some characters, I could get the match down to like 50 seconds, others like 1:30 cause their combo sucks.

The reason you do 50 damage per life is cause there seems to be an inactivity filter on xp. If you don’t do enough damage. You don’t get rewarded the xp. My numbers are probably wrong give or take around 100xp but if you do 5 lives against three mastery 1s you’ll get around 500-600xp. I can’t remember what levels I got my guests to but I think at around three mastery 7 guests, you get around 1100-1200. This cuts the grind time down drastically. The only downside is that you have to keep your game running.

I’d say it would take close to 1 and a half hours to get your three guests to mastery 5 on their characters.
I’d say this would take 40-50 hours of purely grinding like this. It’s rough.
