How to unlock the Jack achievement in Brotato - Definitive Guide
To unlock Jack, you need to kill a boss or elite in less than 15 seconds.
Jack might seem hard to play with at first, due to the massive enemy buffs (250% enemy health, 50% enemy damage) but it's actually easier than it seems. You want to mainly go for two things:
Laser Gun x6
Attack Speed
You want to choose the Laser Gun as your weapon, as the high damage is perfect against the +250% enemy health. The only downside to this weapon is the slow firing rate, which is countered by stacking Attack Speed. Make getting 6 of them a priority (don't be afraid to use shop rerolls when they're cheap) and upgrade them as you go along.
Jack gets +200% Material drops from enemies (so eventually you are going to be swimming in resources to build him as you please) but you should start your run focusing on offense (Attack Speed, Ranged Damage and % Damage) while ignoring % Crit Chance. Eventually you want to start pumping up your defense (Max Health, Armor, Life Steal/HP Regen).
Once you get going, you should have no problem getting to the final wave.

Finally beat it and here are some points I want to make about it (I got this without changing the options from default).
- A really good item on this run is the tooth, that slows dow enemies by 10% each time you damage them, to a max of 30% (it also slows you down by 3%). It works on bosses and your turrets can apply the slow too, making waves 17 and 19 more manageable.
- I never really got rich with this character as on later waves the map got crowded and it got risky going for the money.
- A lot of times I was rushing attack speed early on, but if you get a better damage upgrade (like 12%) or the dodge (9%) you should go for those, even if your attack speed is low. Many times I spent 100+ gold looking for a basic 5% att speed (yes, even when the reroll costs 5-10 gold). I'm also wondering if a high armor build wouldn't be better than a dodge one, but I imagine you'll have to reach 30 to 40 armor to starting seeing the effects (I believe a highly negative armor run will be orders of magnitude harder, as it'll be basically a 1HKO run).
- There are some items that lower the ammount of enemies in this. It may seem counter intuitive as this already has -75% enemies but it's worthy if it means you'll be able to survive. The white flag reduces the enemy count by 5% and there's another item, whose name I don't recall, that reduces it by 10%, making a -90% enemies run. I got both on my winning run, the -10% one in wave 18.
Good luck!

I will add something that may be valuable to some. The boss on Wave 20 is random. I finally got this on my 3rd try.
- First try was a failure, due to not fully paying attention to the information about the extra damage the mobs does to Jack.
- 2nd was to the final boss that has it's fire be the bullets that appear in random formations.
- But the 3rd try was the one that had a line of bullets slowly rotate around him. So much easier. So if you get to 20, only to get the BS bullet randomizer boss, don't fret too much.
