How to unlock the Awaken the Gazebo achievement in Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Definitive Guide
Step 1. Go down the hole at the beginning and collect the "Remington" chalk off the wall and put it on the ? mark for 1000 pts then fall down the hole and head over to the Mystery Box.
Step 2 At the Mystery Box try to get the Paralyzer weapon, kill a few zombies to get some points, you should have enough for 2 shots of the box. If the Paralyzer doesn't show up restart.
Okay once you have the Paralyzer you can fly with it. All you have to do is aim at the ground and jump and hold the RT ( the longer you hold it the higher you go, but be careful if you go up too high and fall it will down you).
Step 3. Let Leeroy out of his cell and give him the Beer.
Step 4. Turn on the Power.
Step 5. Now you want to go just outside the the Gunsmith and fly up with the Paralyzer then go inside and downstairs and collect any of the Chalks and put them in the following locations below.
There are a total of 5 locations and they can be done in any order.
1. Just outside the Jail Cell.
2. Upstairs from the Mystery Box
3. Above the Saloon (use the Paralyzer to fly up).
4. In the Courthouse (use the Paralyzer from the Mystery Box and fly straight up).
Okay to put the final chalk in the Church what you need is another Beer. When the Power got turned on it spawns another Beer either in the Jail Cell or in the Saloon. So head to the Saloon first and use the Paralyzer to fly up into the Saloon then drop down and if it's there collect it, then come back out the same way. If not then head to the Jail Cell and collect it there.
5. To get to the Church go just outside the Candy Shop and there is a Barricade for Leeroy to break fly over this with the Paralyzer and then head to the Church. Wait for Leeroy to come then give him the Beer so he smashes the Barricade leading to the Church. Now head back to the Gunsmith and collect the final chalk and put it in the Church upstairs.
Step 6. Now head to the Mansion and use the Paralyzer to fly over the Barricade and open the 1250 door there should still be points to spare to buy an MP5 but any other gun will do fine, but I recommend the PDW or AN94.
Step 7. Soon as you drop down into the Mansion a Ghost comes down the stairs quickly shoot it then head up the stairs. Another Ghost should come round the corner shoot it also. Head to the Bookcase and wait till the Ghost comes out, shoot it then quickly go around the corner then a fourth Ghost should appear, again shoot and quickly move into the next room and another Ghost should appear shoot it then quickly drop down to the Maze.
Step 8. Once at the Maze keep the Paralyzer equipped and just run through it quickly. If you come to a green door use the Paralyzer to fly over it.
Step 9. If you made it to the end without being hit, run down the path and put any gun into the Pack A Punch then collect the upgraded weapon.
Achievement Unlocked
Edit: I don't know why I can't see the beer or the key at the beginning.
Maximize points in the spawn area and get about 200pt for each zombie kill( 5 zombies), and leave the last one unharmed, giving you about a 1000pt profit.
There are five doors that must be purchased (usually in this order)
- Downstairs door in Gen. Store / 750pt
- Upstairs door in Gen. Store / 750pt
- Main Saloon door / 1250pt
- Main City Hall door / 1250pt
- Main Haunted House door / 1250pt (MAKE SURE TO BUY THIS AT THE END!)
Total needed for removing doors: 5250pt
Make sure to build the Trample Steam on the workbench near the box, and place it on a ledge near to box to get to city hall. You will also use the Trample Steam to launch from the gunsmith building to on top of the Saloon to place one of your chalk drawing, and jump from the top of the Saloon to building on the right to turn on the power.
There are three areas that must be cleared by Leroy (Also note, the further that Leroy has to run to hit his target, the more points you earn.)
- His Jail cell/ free (earn 200pt)
- Church debris/ free (earn 1000pt if given booze near candy shop)
- Haunted House debris/ 1000pt (earn 1100pt if given booze near stack of barrels near candy shop)
Side note: If you are low on points near the end, you can purchase booze and hit the juggernog and gunsmith debris from across the alley, which would net you a profit of 1250pt if done correctly.
There are 6 spots to draw chalk (including the Remington at the beginning) that should total a profit of 7000pt (you get 2000pt for last drawing).
After everything is drawn, and all the debris/doors have been removed, and you successfully maximized points from Leroy, you should have at least 5000pt left (after buying the Haunted House door), with hopefully enough to buy the mp5 off the wall, next to the Haunted House door. When going through the house, be very careful. The ghosts will slowdown when they get close to you, so be careful going around corners and through the bookcase. From there, find your way through the maze (the ghosts may continue to come for you in the maze until they drop a free perk) and to the PaP.
Final Words: This guide was meant for those who already knew most of the map and wanted an alternative the the guides using the time bomb they had already seen. I
assumed you already knew how to buy booze and so on. Hope this helps.
EDIT: I found this method early on, so many of the commentors have suggested ways to improve on this guide, such as using the trample steam to buy the 750pt couch in the saloon as opposed to the main door. Also, I found a video of someone doing this on solo doing a different method but follows some similar ideas, such as using the trample steam.

I thought I'd offer this method, which I see that no one else has posted yet. I used it and got the achievement on my first try. I honestly think that this is the easiest and most hassle-free method, even for getting through the mansion.
No Time Bomb, no Paralyzer, no excessive use of Leroy required.
The only things that the video doesn't cover and that I'd recommend doing are putting it on Easy difficulty so that the last zombie does not start sprinting, and also to play with at least one other person so that they can hold the zombie. Other than that, the video covers everything.
(Sorry to those who prefer written guides; I figured it would be easier for everyone to see the video instead of having me describe the method in the video)
By following the video, you'll also get:

Step 1: Put the difficulty to easy (this will make the zombies easier to kill and will get you better weapons in the box)
Step 2: I would advice you to play with 2 or 3 players ( NOTE only 1 person can get the achievement per game so keep that in in mind)
Step 3: When you start the game go straight down the slide and go to the Shotgun on the wall and click x to pick it up off the wall after that move straight ahead to the ? on the wall and hold down x for doing this it will get you 1000pts.
Step 4: After you have got the 1000pts of the wall you need to open the box and try to get the time bomb if you don't get the time bomb your first go then you will need to restart until you do.
Step 5: When you have the time bomb you need to knife all the zombies (ACCEPT FOR THE LAST ONE MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE ONE ZOMBIE ALIVE)
Step 6: When you have one zombie alive take out your time bomb bye clicking left on the dpad and then click LT to throw it onto the floor (WHAT EVER YOU DO DO NOT CLICK (RT) and activate the time bomb.
Step 7: After you have thrown down the time bomb what you and your friends want to do is get as many points as you can and open all the doors on the map ( AFTER YOU HAVE OPENED THE DOOR TO THE (BANK) YOU MUST NOT TOUCH ANY OF THE (5) WHITE WEAPONS THAT ARE ON THE WALL THIS IS A MUST)
Step 8: As long as you dident touch any of the weapons in the bank and you have opened all the doors then you are good to go you now need to get out your time bomb and click RT (NOTE DO NOT THROW ANOTHER ONE DOWN THIS WILL RESET YOUR OLD ONE.)
Step 9: Now you should be at the spawn go straight down the slide and go to the bank (ONLY THE PERSON GOING FOR THE ACHIEVEMENT NEEDS TO PICK UP THE WEAPONS OF THE WALL IN THE BANK AND HE NEEDS TO PUT THEM ON ALL THE WALLS WITH THE ? MARKS ON (DOING THIS WILL GET YOU 5000PTS - 6000PTS.)
Step 10: The last thing you need to do is go to the Mansion and if you have enough buy the MP5 this will make life a lot easier after you have the mp5 you need to try to get through the mansion and past the Witches without them stealing your points ( NOTE YOU ONLY HAVE 1 CHANCE AT DOING THIS SO MAKE SURE YOU GO THROW THE MANSION YOUR SELF SO ONLY ONE WITCH SPAWNS TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR YOU TO GET PAST IF THE WITCH TOUCHES YOU THEN YOU WILL LOOSE 2000PTS AND WILL HAVE TO RESTART ALL OVER.)
Step 11: After you are past the mansion and into the maze you want to try to make it as fast as you can throw the maze ( BUT BE WARNED THERE WILL BE A WITCH CHASING YOU SO WHEN GOING AROUND CORNERS TAKE IT REALLY SLOW TO MAKE SURE SHE DOE SENT GET YOU AFTER YOU HAVE REACHED THE STAIRS TO THE PACK A PUNCH ALL YOU NEED TO DO NOW IS PACK A PUNCH AWAY )

i would just like to add that i don't no why so must people post negative on solutions when they haven't even tried it them selves could you please state why in the comments that you are posting a negative thanks.
I found this video on YouTube (I take no credit for this, that goes to MrDalekJD) and it's so easy to get enough money, even without the double points he picks up.
Only instead of buying the PDW as in the video pick up the handgun at the outside of the door by the Gun Smith. I takes one shot to kill a witch. Just make sure you're not running through the mansion but take your time and kill the witches one for one till you're in the maze. Kill the last ones their and find your way to the Gazebo.

1 - at spawn, collect maximum points, leave one zombie
2 - fall down, chalk the remington
3 - open jail cell and clear gunsmith, candy, church and mansion debris. buy booze in saloon when needed.
4 - open first floor general store, collect parts and build trample steam
5 - use trample steam to get to ? mark above saloon and jump across to turn on power
6 - chalk all five weapons from the gunsmith at ?, jail, by mystery box, above saloon, church
7 - use trample steam on balcony by first myster box to get into city hall for chalking.
8 - you will have 7-8k in the end.
9 - buy mp5, make it through mansion unharmed
10 - get through maze and get to PaP at gazebo. PaP ur weapon.
11 - collect achievement.
So i had a really good idea for a solution, unfortunately it didn't work, however 1 part still is valid and is confirmed working (and probably the easiest method so far) since i did it with a friend... but the main solution was removed by me.
The Solution
If a friend joins you at round 2 (3 to make sure) once you complete the round the friend will join in and start amassing points once the time bomb is used to go back to round 1 said friend will keep all the points collected, however all guns perks are still removed. so this leaves an easier time to get a gun and make it through the house.
However if player 1 (getting the bomb) kills all but 1 zombie and does the Remington chalk i found it helpful to open the chair opposite the sweet shop so you can get into the gun shop for the extra chalk. You can then use the box 3 - 4 times on round 1 for the chance bomb. If you then want to extend to a 5th try you can always pick up another chalk run through the tunnel at the back of the barn until you get to the saloon and chalk up the question mark above the bar.
End Of Solution
(removed solution which i tried and tested below in short)
I found a way to get to the pack a punch on round 1, I figured if i place the bomb at the pack a punch player 2 would spawn at the bomb with me since this is where i used the bomb. This wasn't the case, the friend started outside the jail. So unfortunately this didn't work.

NOTE: This achievement DOES work on easy so if you're new to zombies try that!
Maximise points by shooting in the leg then stabbing. Leave one zombie unharmed.
Do NOT start round 2 yet.
Go down into the tunnels.
Pick up the remington chalk and draw the remington on the wall (near quick revive).
Find the blue glowing mystery box opposite the general store. Keep hitting the box until you get the Time Bomb [950pts per try].
Restart the game if you don't get it before you run out of points.
The time bomb is used like C4. Press down on the dpad. Throw the bomb with left trigger then when you wish, press right trigger to travel back to the time and place when/where you threw the time bomb.
Throw the bomb down (left trigger).
You can now kill the last zombie and proceed through the rounds.
The person who threw the bomb down now cannot die or you will have to restart the game so buy juggernog as soon as possible.
Follow the chalk lightning bolts to find the power switch. Turn the power on.
Find the glowing green key to open Leroy's cage [hold (x) to pick it up] (First spawn right beside Leroy - random spawn thereafter).
Open Leroy's cage [ground floor - Sheriff's building] by holding (x) beside it whilst the key is in your inventory.
Find alcohol [hold (x) to pick it up]. (First spawn right beside Leroy - random spawn thereafter)
Alternatively buy alcohol from the saloon by holding (x) beside the cash register [1000pts].
Have Leroy break out of the Sheriff's building.
NB: When giving Leroy alcohol face directly towards the object you want destroyed as when he's been given his drink he will turn around and run away from you. To give Leroy alcohol hold (x) beside him while there is alcohol in your inventory.
NB: Shooting Leroy will have him run back to his cage so avoid this.
OPEN ALL DOORS AND BREAK ALL BARRIERS below;
Doors/debris
-Saloon entry
-Saloon couch (bowie knife debris)
-Sweets shop front and back door
-Courtroom front doors
-Mansion front doors
Barriers - use Leroy to destroy these
-Juggernog alleyway [optional but highly recommended]
-Gunsmith doorway (near the B23R)
-Church doorway
-Mansion front gate
Take out your time bomb and click right trigger when this is done.
You will return to round 1 however everything will be now open.
Proceed to the gunsmith, pick up a chalk and draw it on a wall beside a question mark.
Repeat this process for all 6 guns and you will have 6000 points.
Chalkboard walls are as follows;
1-Upper balcony of saloon
2-Upper level of church
3-Upper level of courtroom
4-Wall near the jail cell
5-Top of the stairs near the first box spawn
HARD PART - Proceed to the mansion.
If you have bad guns buy an mp5 off the wall on the mansion's porch. You will still have 5000pts left.
Kill the floating ghost women while making your way upstairs then past the movable bookshelf and drop down into the maze.
TAKE IT SLOW. When reloading walk backwards a little but keep pushing through the mansion.
NB: As they steal 2000pts on each contact, if they touch you once you will have to restart.
Find your way through the maze to the gazebo (follow the cracks).
Proceed down the spiral staircase.
Pack-a-punch any of your weapons [5000pts].
Pop goes the cheevo.

Proceed further down the map and once you drop in the Juggernog area, head for the stairs that lead towards the bank. Open up the debris, go through the bank and into the tunnel so you are able to pick one of the five chalks. My preferences are the PDW and the Galvaknuckles, but off course that choice is totally yours. Either way, pick one and draw a weapon near Leroy's cell. Return to the chalks and draw a second one on the second floor near the crafting table (right up the stairs next to the Mystery Box). You should have 2,750 points if you didn't kill any zombies. Those points can be used for 3 shots at the box, where you should try to get the timebomb from. If you haven't got it, shoot 7 bullets in the zombies leg and knife them. While playing solo, you will get 5 zombies so be sure to keep one.
Pick shots at the box, and if you have it throw it down. Now, you want to invite your friend in who needs the achievement and go up in rounds until he/she thinks they are comfortable enough to run through the mansion. I recommend around 20 or 25 thousand points and it's good enough to Pack-a-Punch the M1911 since you and your friend will loose the weapons or perks you bought, and you will be reset to the points you had in your HUD when you threw the timebomb down but your friend should still have all his points.
Be sure to turn on the power while advancing in rounds and open all the doors since they will remain open if you teleport back to round 1. A quick hint to built up points quickly would be the PDW and Galvaknuckles combo. Shoot short burst of bullets into the zombie and do a melee attack on them. That will save you some ammo and will get you a lot of points. Be sure to buy Juggernog and Quick Revive since they will be essential to unlock the achievement.
Afterwards, you could put your remaining points into the bank as well as putting your weapon away in the fridge which might come in handy while going for other achievements (the easter egg for example). The good thing about banking your points/storing a weapon is that they can be retrieved from other maps like Tranzit and Die Rise. Mob of The Dead will not work because there is no bank on the map and the main characters are different. Please not that the PaP'ed PDW will become the PaP'ed Chicom while playing on Tranzit since you cannot buy a PDW off the wall or get it from the box.

They will need to go down the hole and use the chalk to put the Remington shotgun on the wall as they go down. If they kill 3 or 4 zombies as well they will have enough points to use the box twice.
They will be trying to get the Time-Bomb and if they don't get it they will need to restart and try again until they get it. It will be quicker if they have the upgraded box perma-perk which you get from getting 5 bad weapons in row from the box, you know when you have it because there will be a teddy bear sitting on top of the box.
When they get the Time-Bomb on round 1 they need to throw it down on the ground then pause and invite the other player/players then unpause the game as the other player will not be able to join while it's paused.
Now when all players have joined kill the last zombie to start round 2 and the other player/players will spawn. Get Leroy out of jail and turn on the power. Open the saloon to get more beer so you can clear the way to the house by giving him beer to smash the gate. More beer will respawn in the saloon every round and you can buy more from the till for 1000 points.
Now just play as normal getting perks and buying guns as needed till all players have 5000 points to Pack-A-Punch with, it doesn't matter how many rounds you play.
When you are ready to Pack-A-Punch go through the house (watch out for the ghost) and the maze to the gazebo, if anyone lost points by getting hit by the ghost then you can kill more zombies by the gazebo till they have 5000 points again.
Now time for the achievement, normally when you throw a Time-Bomb the game saves your perks, guns, ammo and most importantly your location in the game, but because you were not in the game when the Time-Bomb was thrown down it has no saved information for you. This means that that when the Time-Bomb is used you are still going to be in the gazebo with all your perks and guns.
So get the host to use the Time-Bomb now resetting the game back to round 1 and Pack-A-Punch your gun, achievement done!
This is much easier than having to get through the house without losing your points to the ghost!
For this achievement you will want to get the Paralyzer at round one. Jump down from the start and place the Remington 870 chalk on the wall. Jump down to the town and roll the box. If you don't get the Paralyzer you need to restart.
Now shoot the Paralyzer at the ground and you can propel yourself upwards. Now get the other chalk from the Gunsmith and place it around the map. You will need to open the door to the Church and the Mansion. When going through the mansion you can not afford to be hit. In the video the guy had a double points which caused him to only lose 1,000 points. You probably won't be that lucky. Follow what goes on in the video and you will get the achievement after some trial and error.
There are three ways to do this trophy, but I will only go into detail for one method. I will however provide videos for the alternate methods.
Leeroy Charge Method:
The best method for doing this is the Leeroy Charge method. First of all, jump down the shaft and grab the Remington 870 MCS chalk off the wall, then apply it to the ? for 1,000 points. Head into the Sheriff's Office and let Leeroy out of his cell, then break the first barrier with the booze. Head over to the Saloon and open the door for 1,250 points, then grab the second bottle of booze and use it to break any of the barriers from as far away as possible. This is key to the method: the farther away from a barrier Leeroy is when you give him booze, the more points you will get when he destroys it. You can get over 2,000 points for some of the barriers if done correctly. For the sake of this trophy, you simply want to earn anything over 1,000 points per barrier.
Knowing this strategy, simply buy booze from the register in the Saloon for 1,000 points a piece and break open every required barrier. Once you break open the Gunsmith, grab the weapon chalks and place them on the five ? around the map, which can be found:
- Outside Sheriff's Office
- At the top of the stairs of the Sheriff's Office
- Upstairs in the Saloon, on the balcony (accessable through caves via the Barn)
- Upstairs in the Courthouse (requires 1,250 door)
- Upstairs in Church
Every time you apply a weapon chalk, you'll receive 1,000 points as well as a bonus 1,000 for applying them all, for a total of 6,000 extra points. When you place the chalk at the Saloon, make sure to jump over to the Sweets Shop and turn on the power! Without power, you can't use the Pack-a-Punch Machine. Combining the chalk points with all the points you will have accumulated from the barriers, you'll have more than enough for a wall weapon, the door to the Mansion and for Pack-a-Punching.
Buy a decent wall weapon, as you will need one to get through the Mansion (PDW-57 or B23R). With at least 6,250 points in your posession, open the door to the Mansion. Now for the hard part - if the Mistresses inside the Mansion hit you, you'll lose 2,000 points and ruin your chances of earning the trophy. Head through the Mansion and kill all Mistresses before entering the Hedge Maze. Go through the Hedge Maze until you reach the Gazebo, then head down the spiral staircase to find the Pack-a-Punch Machine. If you're still on Round 1 when you Pack-a-Punch your weapon, you'll earn yourself this trophy.

Paralyzer Method:
Another method is simply acquiring the Paralyzer from the mystery box and using it to fly over the barriers to get the weapon chalks and their respective points.

Trample Steam Method:
Alternatively, you can simply create a Trample Steam if you don't want to rely on luck with the Mystery Box. All parts for the Trample Steam can be located in the General Store.

Difficult. You get a time bomb on round 1!!! And you immediately throw it, then open all the doors. Turn on the bomb and earn 6000 with chalk, 1000 per box, the rest for leveling up. There will be 7 ghosts in the house, it is better to immediately remember when they appear.
Easy. This requires 2 people. The first one enters the private game and gets a time bomb on the 1st round!!! Turn it on. After this, the second player enters the game. Next, the second player must earn about 20,000. Turn on the bomb and a miracle happens! The second player keeps his money! Now you can walk through the house without fear.
It is important to not walk very fast in a house with witches, but not too slowly either. Then there will be only one witch in the house.
Keep in mind Leroy (the big guy) runs in the direction the scope is pointing and may hit the wall.
