How to unlock the I'm Your Huckleberry achievement in Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Definitive Guide
-Right beside his cell ~ it will always start here
-Sherriff's building (Upper floor)
-General Store
-Bank
-Saloon (Upper floor)
-Court House
If you damage him he will run back to his cell and it will possibly be locked again. Just search the places mentioned for the key.
Once you unlock the cell, find the booze inside his cell and feed it to him. He will break through the building and start to wander throughout the map.
To get Leroy to smash blockades, you must feed him booze. Whenever you have booze in your inventory Leroy will start to follow you*, so finding wherever he wanders off to is not a problem. You can find booze at:
-Leroy's Cell
-In the Saloon (either on a table or the counter)
-In the Candy Shop on the floor (very rare)
-You can also purchase booze for 1000 points in the Saloon at the counter. If you're not able to purchase it, you either don't have enough points or there is a booze pickup to be found (a bottle of booze will spawn once every new round).
This next tip is very crucial. When you feed him, he will turn around and run in a straight line. Whatever he hits, he hits. Your goal is to make him hit a blockade. So keep in mind that once you feed him, he will run in the opposite direction in which you fed him. In other words: make his back face the blockade, then feed him, and he will turn around and run into the blockade.
Here are the blockades:
-Beside the Sherriff's Office, in front of Juggernog
-Entrance to the Gunsmith shop
-Alley beside Gunsmith shop entrance
-Alley beside the Sweets Shop
-Water fountain in the middle of the Graveyard (make him run into the barrel on the fountain)
-Mansion entrance
-Church entrance
*However, if another player has Candy in their inventory, Leroy will always follow the player with the Candy. Do everything you can with Booze first.
And on a side note... the greater distance Leroy runs and successfully hits a blockade, the more points you gain. Do this (if you attempt it) to get Booze money!
Thanks to DigitaL MadnezZ, x JoeCaMeL, ForbiddenTheory, and TrueBOHliever for help improving this solution.
The blockades are:
- His Cell.
- The alleyway next to his cell, where Juggernog is.
- The Gunsmith shop.
- Alley next to Gunsmith shop.
- Alley next the Candy Shop
- Water fountain in front of the Haunted House and Church.
- Haunted House.
- Church
When trying to get him to destroy these blockades you need to make sure his back is turned to them and you are facing him and the blockade.
You can do this achievement solo on easy difficulty. ( Thanks to GTAmissions1 )
I just unlocked my 4th achievement in the DLC.
First of all stay in round 1, leave one zombie unharmed
At the spawn maximize your points by killing four zombies with shooting in the leg and stabbing, I think the most know what I'm talking about. Leave the last zombie unharmed and jump down. Draw the shotgun (+1000) and make your way to the city.
Free Leroy with the key and the booze in the jail and that's your first barricade. Go to the saloon, buy the door (-1250) and find / buy booze to 'feed' Leroy. Then let him first brake throught the barricade at the gun store and pick a drawing. Draw this at the wall at the jail and go back to pick another drawing and draw this at the stairs next to the mystery box. So you have 2000 more and 1 zombie still alive in the first round.
Now we gonna break some barricades. Find / buy booze and break the barricade next to the sherriff's building at the Juggernot. Purchase some booze and let Leroy break the barricade in the alley next to the Gun Smith, and then the slightly bigger alley between the bank and the sweet shop so you get acces to the last 3 barricades.
Everytime Leroy brake a barricade you get money. The further Leroy has to run, the more money you get. Do this at own risk and not go to far away, cause one missed barricade and it's not that easy anymore!
Buy booze and break the barricades in front of the church, the mansion and break the barrels at the fountain and the achievement is yours in still the first round.
If you're running low on money you can draw a gun drawing upstairs in the church.
Sorry for my English. I hope the steps helps some of you as it did for me!
For this achievement you are going to have to use Leroy the giant to help you destroy all 8 of the barriers/debris.
Steps:
- Find and free Leroy from the cell.
- Feed the booze in the cell to Leroy and make him smash the first barrier.
- Remember the spawns/locations of all the booze. (In-depth video on my YT channel)
-Destroy all the barriers around the town.
Barriers/Debris:
1. Outside jail cell in front of JUGGERNOG
2. Doorway of the GUNSMITH
3. To the right of the GUNSMITH
4. In the alleyway to the left of CANDY SHOP
5. MANSION/HAUNTED HOUSE gate.
6. CHURCH
7. FOUNTAIN in the courtyard outside the mansion and church.
Please watch the video as I show you all locations and exactly how to get the achievement.
If you have any questions, please comment or message me, thanks! :D
Go down into the tunnels.
Follow the chalk lightning bolts to find the power switch. Turn the power on.
Find the glowing green key to open Leroy's cage [hold (x) to pick it up] (First spawn right beside Leroy - random spawn thereafter).
Open Leroy's cage [ground floor - Sheriff's building] by holding (x) beside it whilst the key is in your inventory.
Find alcohol [hold (x) to pick it up]. (First spawn right beside Leroy - random spawn thereafter)
Alcohol spawns - JAIL CELL, SALOON(bar or tables)
Alternatively buy alcohol from the saloon by holding (x) beside the cash register [1000pts].
Have Leroy break out of the Sheriff's building.
NB: When giving Leroy alcohol face directly towards the object you want destroyed as when he's been given his drink he will turn around and run away from you. To give Leroy alcohol hold (x) beside him while there is alcohol in your inventory.
NB: Shooting Leroy will have him run back to his cage so avoid this however if you do shoot him run into the cage with him, wait a while, then lure him back out and you wont have to find the key again.
NB: Leroy is more attracted to candy than alcohol however candy will not make him destroy barriers but kill zombies instead so try not to pick any candy up.
Force Leroy to break each of the seven barriers as follows;
1- JUGGERNOG alleyway (beside the Sheriff's building)
2- GUNSMITH alleyway (to the right of the doorway)
3- GUNSMITH doorway (near the B32R)
4- SWEETS SHOP alleyway (between the bank and sweets shop)
5- GRAVEYARD FOUNTAIN (middle of the graveyard area)
6- CHURCH doorway (left extremity of graveyard)
7- MANSION gate (right extremity of graveyard)
Pop goes the cheevo.
Happy hunting

There are a total of eight barriers he must break. If you are unsure as to how Huckleberry works, refer to part one of the RoadMap.
You will need to obtain eight bottles of booze be it find it in the saloon or his cell or buy it for 1,000 points at the saloon cash register.
The locations are listed below:
- His cell.
- Alley next to his cell blocking Juggernog.
- The gunsmith.
- Alley next to the gunsmith.
- Fountain in front of the mansion.
- Alley next to the candy shop.
- The church.
- The mansion entrance.
Your "new friend" is Leeroy the Giant, who is found in the Sheriff's Office. Let him out with the skull key beside his cage, then grab the booze beside him and give it to him, with his back facing the door. When you give Leeroy a bottle of booze, he'll spin 180 degrees and charge in a straight line, destroying a barrier if there is one in his path. Doing this, he'll charge and destroy the barrier at the door. When Leeroy destroys a barrier, you'll net between 100-2,000 points, depending on how far away he is from the barrier when you give him booze, so if you want to max points destroy the barriers from a distance (thanks AlphaCookie for this tip). Now, you'll need to destroy the remaining 7 barriers using Leeroy, which can be found:
- Alleyway next to the Sheriff's Office, blocking off Jugger-nog
- Gunsmith entrance
- Alleyway next to Gunsmith
- Alleyway next to Sweets Shop
- Fountain outside Mansion
- Church
- Mansion
In order to obtain enough booze to do this, you will have to either find it or buy it. At the beginning of every round booze will spawn either in the Saloon or Sheriff's Office (it spawns in both locations for Round 1), and it can also be bought from the cash register in the Saloon for 1,000 points.
If you shoot Leeroy, he will return to his cage and lock himself in there. The key will then spawn in one of five locations:
- Next to his cell on a row of hooks
- Bank, behind deposit box
- Upstairs in the Saloon, in a room
- Courthouse, on the Judge's desk
- Near the Pack-a-Punch Machine
Below is a video demonstrating how to do this, courtesy of iNTiMiDaTeGaming.
Rubble: exit from the prison, a nook with Jaga next to the prison, an armory, a dead end next to the armory, a passage to the second part of the town, a church, a mansion.
Near the church there is a fountain with a barrel on it. It also needs to be broken.
