Scorpion: Enemies in mission “Blackout” can drop it.

This guide is great if you are unsure of what you may have missed (m16, m60, etc)... I would also stress the Mile High Club level. Tons of SMGs, as that's what I needed since I avoid those in campaign. Thanks

If you are missing any weapons even after running 'Game Over' and 'Mile High Club' run 'War Pig'. Thats where I ended up get in the last M16 & M4 variants.

ROTFL.... Start up War Pig on Hardened, look around, run towards a marine... as I'm running towards him he gets blown skyward by an RPG, look at where he was, M16A4! Pick it up, kill an enemy.. check achievement progress, yep! 2nd last weapon! LOL.. now to get that LMG in the final mission!

I found that a marine in the level "war pig" always has a M16A4. Where you first spawn in the level, look slightly to the left and you will then see two blue barrels. Theres a marine using one as cover and for me at least he always had an M16A4.

If you want to get him killed quicker throw a grenade behind him and he will then run forward into enemy fire and usually die.

I know this is coming quite late for most players, but I found the reason some of the weapons didn't register was because I had killed an enemy and then left the mission. Make sure you reach a checkpoint before quitting the mission as that weapon will sometimes not count.

One last missing was the M60, as for everyone. When arriving in the broken bridge and waiting for your helicopter to come, start killing each ennemy coming in front of you, then run to find the M60 left by one of them.

@Im King Logan makes an excellent point! I was missing 3-4 weapons after unlocking all the other achievements in this game. I deleted my save data and began a new game. Got a kill on FNG with the Ak47, the ak74u, the USP and the frag grenade and the achievement unlocked!

DON'T DELETE CAMPAIGN PROGRESS, YOU MIGHT NOT NEED TO IF THE ACHIEVEMENT IS STUCK:
As others have commented on other guides, this one can get stuck around 86-93%. I deleted the save from console, but not from the Xbox network. Restart campaign, start fresh campaign, start crew expendable, get a kill with knife, pistol, and melee, connect to Xbox live, boom. Worked for me. After restarting my game I had the choice of loading progress from the cloud.

This also fixed the intel achievement.

I was able to get this during the course of my campaign play-through with no mop up required!

I had the achievement tracker enabled and would verify that each weapon registered (or didn’t as you’ll see). Each kill with a different required weapon type would register 3-4% on the tracker which means there are only 28-29 weapon types required. I did not have to progress to a checkpoint save for the kills to register.

I followed the walkthrough guide and noticed some discrepancies I thought I’d document:

1) I only needed to get a kill with each weapon type variant instead of all variants. For example, if I got a kill with the MP5 Silenced (starting weapon in Crew Expendable mission), I didn’t need to get a kill with a plain old MP5. Here’s the list of “extra” weapon variants that I did not need because I had previously earned a kill with a different variant:

MP5
C4 (the only strange one in the list because it’s not a variant)
M4A1
USP .45
AK-47 Grenadier
GP-25 (grenade launcher)
M21

2) The following weapon types were not mentioned in the guide, but did register on the achievement tracker:

Mounted 50 cal (required to progress story)
Javelin (required to progress story)
M4A1 Grenadier or throwing a frag grenade back (I couldn’t quite catch which triggered the achievement tracker)

I’m sure there are some missing from my lists above, but those are the notes I was able to make while playing the game.

Hope this helps!

If you think you are missing one, in most cases I would guarantee that you are actually missing the M60E4 which only appears once in the game.

Right at the end of 'Game Over' when you are defending yourself on the collapsed bridge, the very first enemy truck will pull up, ram a parked car and reverse.

An enemy soldier jumps out of the front passenger door and is armed with the M60. Kill him, pick it up and get a kill with it and that should be the last gun you need in the game. No resets or save deletions required.

I have provided a full comprehensive list of all weapons needed below.

I do not believe that C4, Claymores or Flashbangs are required as these did not increase my progress bar or were never used to kill an enemy. I'm also not 100% sure about grenade launchers but if they are required, you do not need both the M203 and GP-25 as once again my progress bar did not increase after a GP-25 kill but I hadn't started checking until way after my first M203 kill.

I'm also not sure regarding different versions of the same weapon i.e. MP5 and MP5SD and M4 and M4 Special Operations Modified but would recommend using all variants.

Pistols
Beretta M9
HK USP.45 (also has silenced variant)
Colt M1911
IMI Desert Eagle

Submachine Guns
HK MP5 (also has silenced variant)
FN P90 (also has silenced variant)

Izhmash AK-74U
IMI Mini-Uzi

Assault Rifles
Izhmash AK-47
HK G3
HK G36C
Colt M16A4
Colt M4A1 (also has SOPMOD variant)

Shotguns
Winchester 1200
Benelli M1014

Light Machine Guns
FN M249
Degtyarev RPD
USO M60E4

Sniper Rifles
Remington 700
Izhmash Dragunov SVD
Springfield M21 (also has silenced variant)
Barrett M107 (static weapon used only in 'One Shot One Kill', not sure if required)

Launchers

Word of advice, no one cares about the weapon manufacturer. Just take that out of your guide cause all it does is it's gonna confuse the average player.

Still a good guide though and thank you.

Ha as if writing downvote is going to get me to change anything. If it helped you great, if it didn't or if it did but you're so concerned about the inclusion of some extra information and feel the need to downvote, good for you, that's your choice to make but it's no skin off my nose; don't like the guide? Use another or better yet make your own.

And fyi, I do update solutions but not when I can't categorically corroborate the information I'm being told.

Then don't change it and just leave everyone confused. I mean the guide is good but those 8 downvotes are coming from somewhere. You could also include extra tips for people who think the achievement is glitched, like to play the Epilogue mission because it has such a large amount of guns in such a short mission, like the P90 and Skorpion.

claymore gave me progress. and since each weapon kill increases the tracker by 3.5% or so, that would mean there are around 29 unique weapons. I agree, get rid of the manufacture names since they do not matter and make it unclear at first glance. It is important to listen to the readers of your solutions and dont' take offence by their requests, but look on them as a way to improve your solutions.

@NuttySandman123 A lot of people have said they missed the Skorpion. It appears a few times throughout the campaign dropped by enemies. On the mission where you have to save Nikolai, the Russian Heliborne soldiers who rope down from the helicopters after the sniping section where you have to cover the Russian Loyalists was a spot where it consistently dropped for me. Along with the M60, the Desert Eagle is to my knowledge the only weapon with only one appearance in the game, which is found on the screaming Russian enemy amongst the containers during 'Crew Expendable'.

The M16 is also relatively rare and only appears dropped by allied soldiers during 'All In' as far as I can recall and in agreement with IMIan's comment above.

THIS IS A WORKAROUND FOR IF YOUR ACHIEVEMENT SEEMS TO NOT BE UNLOCKING OR YOU ARE MISSING ONE WEAPON

This achievement seems very glitchy, I got a kill with every weapon twice, all variants and even direct impact witj all grenade types. If anyone has this achievement stuck at 96%, delete your save data and kill with the pistol, knife and MP5 in Crew Expendable and it should unlock for you like it did for me.

Anyone able to confirm if this works if you're stuck at 72%? I've got a kill with all weapons listed, including the M60 and it's not been moving for quite awhile.

Same thing with Eyes and Ears (30 Intel) achievement.

Update: I played the mile high club mission and got a kill with the Skorpion. My achievement popped instantly despite it not updating since the mid 70% range.

Also got my last piece of intel and the achievement popped despite it saying I was only at mid 70%.

Didn't work for me even though I'm 99% certain I've used every gun and variant. Got a kill with both M16's and with every grenade launcher. It should be a rule that if you have an achievement like this you have to have an in-game tracker

This worked for me. I was stuck at 82% for this one. Deleted my save game, loaded up crew expendable and got a kill with every weapon I could find. Popped after 5/6 different weapons.

@CoRbStOMP's method worked for me. However, if you still want to keep your game save, you can just delete your save from your console, then go into network settings and go offline. This way you can still unlock the achievement and keep your progress.

THIS! This solution is what did it for me.
It was my last possible option after trying all other "solutions" on the internet, so I made sure to play around with all the cheats for a while before pulling the trigger. It was sad to even think about losing everything. But oh well! Now, on to the COD MW2 remaster :D

This achievement has been glitched for me for a long time. Been stuck at 90%. I’ve tried everything but to no avail. Oh well then.

I wonder if there was anyone who used any of the "Intel Cheats" PRIOR to finishing this achievement. That is, you finished the campaign, loaded up some cheats, and then decided to test them out while wrapping up any guns.

Throughout the game, I diligently tracked every weapon I got a kill with, confirming that the achievement percentage progressed and matched or exceeded what I had tracked it should be (which never seemed to line up for me, my progress always exceeded what my spreadsheet thought it should be, but I digress). When I finished the campaign, I had 2 weapons outstanding, the GP-25 (Grenade Launcher on the AK-47 Grenadier variant), and the M60E4. To complete these guns, I decided to try out some of the cheats, since I was now able to use them. I never got progress for the M60E4, until I went back, disabled cheats, and then got a kill with EVERY gun again. When I came back to the M60E4, the minute I got a kill, the achievement unlocked.

Bottom line: It's very possible "cheats" interfere with this achievement's progress. I would avoid using them at all until you complete this one.

Very buggy/glitchy achievement!

At the end of the campaign (not paying attention to the weapons I picked up + finding the M60E4 on accident) I had 96%.

I decided to start a Veteran playthrough and loaded up Crew Expendable (not on a new save). I played through this mission like normal (only notable thing was that I picked up the AK-74u and the Desert Eagle).

I noticed that the achievement had "unlocked" by looking at the in-game achievement list, but it hadn't registered on my profile yet when looking at my achievements on my Xbox profile (neither on TA after a scan).

I closed the game and restarted my Xbox. That's when the achievement unlocked on the startup screen (didn't even know it was possible to unlock an achievement while not being in-game...)

Hopefully no one will run into problems like this! Best of luck to everyone out there!

Wanted to leave a current update on the glitched weapon master achievement. I know it has been said but I wanted to clarify because from all the comments I read across YouTube videos and true achievements I didn't fully comprehend that you have to delete your save file from EVERYWHERE! meaning start the game from scratch no intel no arcade mode unlocked and all veteran completions on missions wiped clean THEN load up a new campaign go through tutorial play crew expendable getting a kill with the knife, the mp5 and pistol basically your initial load out and BAM it finally popped for me. So unbelievably relieved hope this clarifies for anyone else stuck at 96 percent or any percent for that matter on weapon master. Unlocked and works as of June 16, 2021. Cheers!!

If you are stuck at 96% there and think you have got all the weapons there is a M60 LMG during the last mission. Once you crash and get back up onto the bridge a truck will come and the guy that comes out of the Passenger side is will drop a M60 and you can pick it up and get a kill with it just run up to the truck as it is pulling up. I believe it is the first truck that comes up.

I put the guns and locations into a spreadsheet so you can easily mark which ones you have. I used SHMEEDIDDY's guide for the locations and guns.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1U0mvTmtTIRVW6frMOmPb...

All you have to do is click file then make a copy so you can make changes to it. When you get a kill with a gun just go under the acquired column and find the gun, then click the box next to it and click the bucket at the top and change the fill to black.

All the weapons you need for this trophy are listed below so you can keep track as you play. The majority are either given to you at the start of one of the missions or are readily available to pick up from dead enemies. So the best advice is to check which weapons you have at the start of each mission, including the explosives that you equip using the d-pad, and make sure to get a kill with each one. You can start picking up every new weapon you come across, this was you'll use the majority of them and will only need to keep your eye out for a few remaining weapons. The launchers that lock onto vehicles only require you to destroy an occupied enemy vehicle for it to count.

The Mile High Club mission has a lot of enemies and they drop a wide variety of different weapons so if you’re not sure which ones you haven’t used yet and you’ve definitely done the 3 rare ones listed below as well as all the explosives, then try Mile High Club on Recruit and just farm all the weapons you come across. Like every other trophy in the game your progress toward this carries across between playthroughs and mission select and a kill will still count if you quit out of the mission immediately after.

There are 3 weapons that are rare and only attainable at specific points in the game though...

Desert Eagle - This is only dropped by one particular enemy during the Crew Expendable mission. In the first room with cargo containers in and the raised walkways on the right and left (same room as the second intel) an enemy will shout as he jumps out at you from inside or behind one of the containers. He will have the Desert Eagle. For more information see the Desert Storm trophy which involves getting 5 kills with it.
M16A4 - This one can only be found during the War Pig mission. Some of your allies will have it equipped so when any of them are killed check which gun they dropped.
M60E4 - This is only dropped by one particular enemy right at the end of the Game Over mission during the closing moments of the game. After you crash then climb up from the crumbled section of the bridge an enemy truck will drive toward you before reversing back up the road. The soldier that jumps out from the passenger side will drop the M60E4 when you kill him so run and grab it and use it on one of the other enemies while you have the chance.
Here is the full list of weapons in the game that you need to use:

Pistols:

Desert Eagle
M1911
M9
USP45
SMGs:

AK-74u
Mini-Uzi
MP5
P90
Scorpion
Assault Rifles:

AK-47
G3
G36C
M16A4
M4A1
LMGs:

M249 SAW
M60E4
RPD
Shotguns:

M1014
W1200
Sniper Rifles:

Dragunov
M21
R700
Launchers:

GP-25 Grenade Launcher (possible attachment for the AK-47)
Javelin
M203 Grenade Launcher (possible attachment for the M4A1)
RPG-7
FIM-92 Stinger
Explosives:

C4

Frag Grenade

An AK-47 with a grenade launcher can be found on the big weapons table in the first building you enter during Charlie Don't Surf, as well as in many other locations.

I strongly recommend to keep track of your weapon kills. Quitting the mission right after your kill or collecting a piece of intel seems to save everything so don’t worry much about that. If for some reason even after keeping track your trophy doesn’t pop then try closing the game and restarting your PS4, then playing through the epilogue. Worked for me!

I was struggling with this one back and forth loading different missions and getting kills over and over again, to no avail. Now I don't know for certain if this is the reason it finally unlocked for me but this is what I did and it unlocked so I thought I would share it.
I started a campaign on veteran, for my intial play through leaving everything else on default. Half way through the game I enabled hit markers. Finished the campaign, went back and unlocked all the other trophies and focused on this one, which would not unlock. Then I noticed all the play throughs I was watching online had the hit markers disabled. I turned mine off, played through crew expendable and shortly after I got the Desert Eagle kill, it unlocked.
Again, not sure if that's the problem but that's what I did and I hope it helps.

Hey guys, just an update if your achievements seem buggy. Go to my games and apps, manage game and press a on your game save. Delete all save files. Once you log back into the game, the buggy achievements should be fixed. To get weapon master simply get a kill with your primary, secondary and knife. If the intel achievement is buggy for you, once you collect one the achievements will unlock . I will advise you to collect all intel and get kills with all weapons before erasing your save. Otherwise you’ll have to repeat the game from scratch again

I would like to advise regarding two barrels: M16A4, M16A4 Grenadier (M16A4 with a grenade launcher). In the mission "Militarist" at the recruit difficulty level, you can simply wrest these guns from your comrades, just run up to your comrade, look at his barrel, if it fits, break his face in a way convenient for you and wring out the barrel.

If you have completed everything and you only have this trophy left, but you don’t understand what else you need to kill, then most likely it is the M60.
It is found at the end of the episode "Game Over", in the hands of several Separatists.
We just don’t sit still and run towards our enemies. I strongly recommend using the minimum difficulty.

Addition to the tip above: in my case, the mission was called MILITARIST and really needed the M16, which I had not seen anywhere else.

On the map, the Militarist M16A4 can fall from his fighter. So, either just watch him die without your intervention, or blow him up with a car.

Look carefully at kills with grenades and mines, because I didn’t count kills from mines, although I set them so many times and it seemed to me that I killed them with them.

Most of the time in the campaign you will shoot all the weapons one way or another. Problems may only appear with the above M60, as well as with the M16A4 and 2 "PP-hams", if you do not like them. Where to get the M60 is written above, the M16A4 drops from corpses in the mission "Boar", to the right of the place where the bus blocks the road. And the “PP-hi” Uzi and Scorpion can be picked up on our favorite plane on the easy.
