How to unlock the Garden work achievement in Chaos on Deponia - Definitive Guide
Interact with the small spot to the right of the dirt. (you can click the right stick to see interactable objects on the screen).
Screen will change to a piece of gras with holes in it and a mouse that is holding a smal dotted egg (looks like the achievement picture). The target is to get this egg. But when you try to get it, the mouse will change holes. It always moves 2 steps forward, 1 step to the side OR opposite corner. You have to use the 3 pieces to the right to trap the mouse: 2 stones and 1 trap.
Interact with the mouse until it is in 1 corner. And then put the 3 objects on the 3 possible fields where the mouse can move.
For example when the mouse (M) is in the top left corner put the items (X) on these fields (O = empty):
M O O O
O O X O
O X O O
O O O X
It's another chess minigame!!!
The solution to this minigame isn't very complicated once you figure out that the gofer only moves like the knight in a game of chess (an L shape, 2 movements forward then 1 to the side).
Use the rocks on the side to block of 2 of the potential opening he can use then put the trap on the other. Click on the rodent to make him move and he'll move to the trap and you've got the egg... and the achievement with it.
In Act II, in Bellevue, you will have to play a minigame to pick up the Earth Platypus egg. If you skip the minigame, you will void the trophy.
Click on the egg until the meerkat is somewhere on the edge of the grid – i.e. not in one of the four center holes. The meerkat moves like a knight on a chessboard – that is, he will move in an L shape from wherever he is. On the edges, this limits him to a maximum of three potential moves from any given position. In the corners, this limits him to two potential moves and one of the opposite corners (usually diagonal). Place the meerkat trap and two rocks on the potential exit holes to trap him and grab the egg.
There is nothing complicated about it. The meerkat moves with the letter "L", similar to the chess piece "knight". You need to put stones on the probable places where the meerkat will appear, 2 stones and a trap and catch it. If the meerkat is in a corner, then the third exit location will be in the opposite corner diagonally.
