How to unlock the Casino Night achievement in Cuphead - Definitive Guide

This is the path I took - 2, 4, safe, and 8 OR 9, depending on which has a extra HP. After that, go for safe and then finish.

I used Spread and Chaser as my main weapons. Chaser is weak, but it allows you to focus on your surroundings. I used P. Sugar as my charm again, just to let me focus more on my surroundings instead of thinking about hitting the parries. It's not really necessary to build up your special meter more than once in these fights (I saved mine up for the last fight).

2 is the Chips. I used Chaster the entire time. Simply jump out of the way of his attacks. The only thing to look out for is his bottom chip. When he's on the left side, it's obscured, so make sure it's moved before you switch sides.

4 is the Domino fight. I picked this instead of 6 (Horserace fight on a plane) because it's simply easier to get through without getting hit. Use either weapon ( I used Chaser again) and just jump over the spikes. Be sure to hit the parry as often as she spits out a pink orb. When she sends out a flying domino, turn around and hit it with Spread, it'll die almost instantly.

Both 8 and 9 are really easy. Pick whichever has an extra heart. If neither has one, I'd go for 8.

8 is the 8-Ball fight. Very easy. Just stay in the middle of the area. DO NOT go on the left or right sides, that's where the chalk enemies fall to. It's really hard to dodge them falling if you're not specifically paying attention to their spawns. There's really no reason to go over there. The 8-ball only has one slow attack. Just keep shooting away while dodging his slow attack and the 2 chalk. Really easy fight.

If you're more comfortable flying, choose 9. Pay attention to the cards and when they flip back, you have to match the cards. When you do, you'll choose the monkey for about 15 seconds then you'll have to pick more cards. The monkey (besides flying around and hitting you) only has one slow attack. Just dodge his slow bullets. Out of the 10 or so times I fought him, he randomly died in the middle of the fight. Not sure if it was a glitch or not.

Once you get to the finish, your host will suddenly attack you. He's actually really easy. As soon as he attacks, hit him with your special. That should drain a quarter of his health. When he puts an arm down, run to the opposite side. He'll make a row of cards come out. WAIT as long as possible and for as many cards to come out before you jump. The goal is to parry on all the pink cards, and this way you're able to tell where they all are before you get too close to his hand. If the first pink card is 4 cards away, you'll have to jump-dodge to it, otherwise simply parry to each card. After the cards are gone, do as much damage to his face as you can. I had to jump over 5 rows of cards when I finally beat him.

If you get hit on either of the first 2 fights, just start over. My goal was to get to the final fight with at least 3 HP. After you fight these guys 4 or 5 times each, they get super easy.

I just want to comment that I recently beat King Dice (multiple times on a single save) and I have not be able to unlock this achievement. This may be a new bug.

@Dirge Esq, I had the same issue: beat King Dice and didn't get the achievement.

I checked the contract list and noticed all 9 of the bosses are listed and one was just "????????".

To get this achievement, you have to at least face all 9 bosses at least once, then beat King Dice. You do not have to defeat all 9 bosses, just go up against them.

Hmmmm... maybe I just got lucky and it provided a false positive.

It very well may be bugged and unlocks inconsistently.

I just unlocked it after going for Rolling Sixes so that could have helped or it may have just been a coincidence, either way its a little bugged for some of us at the moment

I believe Pvt PinkiePie is correct--it doesn't have to all be in a single playthrough, but you DO have to beat every miniboss at least once. You can check who you've already taken out by pressing Y on the world map to bring up the Equip menu, then selecting List on the far right and checking the "Finale" area.

I beat King Dice once but apparently had never beaten miniboss #8 (Mangosteen, most commonly referred to as "the 8-Ball"). I went back, specifically made sure to land on #8, then went on and beat King Dice and the achievement unlocked.

king dice actually glitched on me (hand did walking animation with no cards coming out)- i did like 6 or 7 of the mini-bosses since i suck at parrying the dice when i need to and landed on 'start over'. its not really a viable strategy but i'm guessing that maybe the more mini-bosses you do/longer you spend on the game board the more likely it is that king dice messes up (or idk maybe the glitch rate is completely independent of how many dice rolls/mini bosses you complete before you get there). either way this level would be so much easier if there was a way to practice king dice himself only since parrying the cards correctly is so much more annoying than any of the mini-bosses you face getting there

Story related. Can't be missed.

This trophy will pop after beating King Dice, the last boss at the Casino. You should practice on picking what you want on the dice so you can pick a route you find easier. 3 > 5 > 7 > Safe > Fin is the quickest route. Should be the easiest as well. You have to get straight 3's on the dice for this route so a little practice would help.

Before you fight Dice, you need to go through the roulette wheel and fight at least three bosses. Hit the cube at the moment when the required number is in front of you, that is, it does not appear randomly. On the Safe cell, roll the die again. For me personally, the easiest bosses are number 2 (Stack of Chips), 5 (Rabbit) and 7 (Roulette). Take the "Smoke Bomb" skill and you can easily dodge their attacks. Also, before starting, you can click “Repeat” several times so that the additional hearts on the roulette will fall on these bosses.
King Dice himself is simple, he has only one attack - he launches a deck of moving cards and you have to parry and jump away from the pink ones. You can bounce off one card several times before jumping to the next one. I recommend taking temporary invulnerability as your superpower, so at least you can ignore one deck and focus on the hex head.

The best way for me is 3-cigar. 6-horse at the races-8-billiard ball! The attack patterns of these bosses are simply ridiculous!!!
weapon standard shot and super bell, take invulnerability and 5 lives
reboot the start of the casino a couple of times so that a couple of extra lives fall on these playing fields
you just shoot the cigar, you immediately gain an ult - on a horse you spend it right away and you need to shoot a little bit and it will bite off, but for billiards, stupidly with a bell for 10-15 seconds, stand under it, almost all the crayons jump over you, then you will accumulate a second ult
with a good outcome on King Dice, you will have 6-7 lives and you will also be able to take a trophy of six or six, because there you need to have at least three lives when defeating him

How to topple the CUBE itself. At a high level of difficulty and without losing HP, it’s a piece of cake: “Equip skill II (temporary invulnerability). It so happened that for parrying cards running at you, you get attack cards. The same enemy card, you can parry several times in a row!” Get him off the "carousel", the gun is just a cannon.

PS: I ran the entire route before receiving the platinum trophy with a “carousel” and a stock barrel. The most boring boss, in my opinion, is the BEE in the skyscraper (I really didn’t have enough ball launcher here, and it took 1 coin to purchase it). I spent the most time on it, about 1.5 hours (I was aiming for rank A).

Number 1 can be knocked out immediately, as soon as the King Dice starts rolling the die, you make a parry. It helped me

1 boss cigar
2 boss lipstick
3 boss can be a dancer or billiards.
The dancer can be defeated if you parry above her head and hit the timing.
It is better to kill a casino owner with a bell.

My mini guide:
1. It is advisable to hit the cube while standing near the direction in which it is spinning, I hit it when I was already falling, the main thing here is not to rush.
2. Default weapon + homing for dice + shadow dash. Opponents - a cigar, domino, roulette or a ball - both are simple, the main thing is to collect all the lives along the way.
3.And most importantly, you can walk behind the king's hand and stay safe by shooting him with homing projectiles over the top. First we run behind the left hand, then the right, about 3/4 of the time it works. It is advisable to leave immortality, since jumping on maps is not always possible. Between hand dashes, also shoot him with green paint. In the end, I defeated him with 1 health without losing anything on the expert, the first time in exactly the same way.

1. If there are problems with knocking out the required number on the die, then this procedure can be simplified. All you need to do is take the auto-parry skill, stand under the dice, crouch (to see the numbers better) and jump at the right moment! Voila! Just a little practice and the required number will be easily achieved in 98 percent of cases.
2. IMHO. The easiest bosses: 2, 4, 8. The billiard ball is actually the easiest in the entire game XD
3. Dice himself can be defeated without loss of HP (but a little longer in time) if you run BY his HAND. You can stand there calmly. He changes hands in turn: left - right - left, etc. Only 7 times does not change i.e. if on the 6th time there was, for example, the left hand, then on the 7th there will be the left hand again, and then the right.
Just run from one hand to the other and count to 7. Easy.) True, sometimes he can do the first NOT change of hands meanly at times 4 or 5, the invulnerability perk will help here. Thus, you can complete Dice absolutely “easy” at any difficulty level and without damage.
