Encounter 1: Near the beginning of chapter 1. When you get the to area where the gate slams down behind you and there are 3 spots for you to place the cogs, go straight ahead to the right and there is a doorway blocked by bars. Walk up to the bars and stand there for 5-10 seconds and he will appear.
Encounter 2: At the beginning of chapter 2 you'll stop a subway train, walk across and hop over a turnstile. Once you hope over, walk forward a bit. To the red wheel on the wall is fine. Then turn around and go back to the turnstile. He will appear here.
Encounter 3: During chapter 6 you'll get to a puzzle where you put the compass into a generator to turn it on and then you have to rotate the room sections to connect the wire to open the door at the end. If you missed any you can use chapter select to get whichever you missed. They do not need to be in one continuous playthrough and you can move to the next chapter as soon as you finish an encounter.
