How to unlock the Resurgence achievement in Dead by Daylight - Definitive Guide

Just like the description says: Heal other Survivors for 10 health states while at least 3 Survivors are injured, dying or hooked.

The achievement tracks every percent healed. If a survivor is down and recovered to 95%, when you heal him up to injured state, you will get 5% towards 1 healing of other survivors for the achievement. You do not get the full 10% towards the achievement just because you changed a survivor state by healing. On the upside this also means that if you heal a downed survivor for 20% and the killer chases you away, you will still get credit for that 20% towards 1 full heal.

While the objective is simple, the execution may be a little bit more challenging. A lot of people tend to heal themselves whenever the chance presents itself, so it can be tricky sometimes to have 3 people injured or incapacitated at the same time. In general this is easier in the high aka red ranks as people tend to power through gens when injured.

The only injured survivor you can control is yourself. While you can run the perk “No Mither”, so you are always in the injured state, you probably will become the focus of the killer. So personally I would advise against running that perk and just take a protection or distraction hit. When the killer downs someone, quickly draw his attention and take a hit and run off. Or when the killer carries someone to the hook, take the hit and run. The killer will probably apply gen pressure after the hook and chase a third survivor. When he takes a hit, unhook the first survivor and heal him.

You can bring a medkit for quicker healing.

Useful perks:
* Botany Knowledge - Healing speed and efficiency of healing items is increased.
* We’ll Make It - For each Survivor you rescue from a Hook, gain an additional 100 % speed increase to healing up others for 30/60/90 seconds.
* Autodidact - For every successful Skill Check completed while healing a Survivor, you receive a Token for a maximum of 3/4/5 Tokens. Each Token grants you a +15 % bonus progression for a successful Skill Check while healing Survivors.

I suggest running We’ll Make it and Botany Knowledge. There are other perks that increase action speed in general but their effect is negligible.

Good luck!

No lifed this game for 2 days now. Finally got it...
41 heal states that took!

If you’re one of the injured 3. It’s hit and miss.
I seemed to get more reliable tracking from doing a half heal, pause. Another half and then pause for the tap to fully heal someone than in one long heal.

Close the game after every match. Regardless if you’ve done a heal or not. Caught me out a few times and of course it’ll be the game where you get 2/3 heals that meet “the criteria” that won’t count.

If I Self-Healed during the game or even started when injured. It wouldn’t track no matter what. So ditch the perk. Run with:
Sprint Burst: Meg Thomas
Empathy: Claudette Morel
Botany Knowledge: Claudette Morel
Calm Spirit: Jake Park

Reasoning:
You can always outrun at the first sign of trouble. You can get a percentage quicker, you can see all injured team mates and to be frank. You’re more likely to run into the Doctor than Hag/Trapper/Freddy lately. Besides, if someone dies, your reasoning to stay solely for this achievement have just shrunk.

You can get multiple progression throughout the match. First one usually counts and then the second one won’t. Again. All depends on what the game so calls the “right criteria”.

If people change their health state mid heal. Stop. Those from Dying to Hooked didn’t count but if I just stopped. Waited a few seconds until they were hooked. It would then count.

Dying to Injured state was the most reliable. Just follow the method mentioned in paragraph 1.

Double heals didn’t seem to add for me either. Don’t think a single percentage counted in the end and I had the tracker up every game.

This will come naturally with time so don’t threat. Behaviour will probably fix this in a few months or so. Focus on the other achievements and this will come too.

Anyone uncover any new data or if they fix this achievement. Shout it out! Plenty of people out there who are going to dread this one.

Make these damn achievements retroactive. Still not forgiving you for those broken Protection Hits which was total BS.

OOoooh I see, I was at 99% on the achievement and I barely tapped a survivor to start healing before they ran and it popped the achievement

I wasn't sure if it meant 3 others players being injured and not me included, but good to know! Such a pain when the other survivors start self-caring. warning

I did not get progress towards that achievement while I was one of the three guys injured. I didn't have the chance to heal someone when the other 3 survivors are injured yet unfortunately, so I can't see if the tracker will go up in that situation, but right now it's either glitched for me or the achievement description is misleading. Does anybody had that problem ?

EDIT : it seems that it started tracking correctly immediately after writing that comment. Thank you Entity !

I've just done 3 full heals in one game, and my tracker is at 10%. So not sure exactly if this is working as you say. I made sure I wasn't one of the three injured. And on two occasions all 4 were injured.

Just done another 2. Tracker still on 10%, despite doing 3 while the other 3 were injured and 2 were all 4 were injured.

It's very buggy. The only way I was able to guarantee progress was with all three of my teammates injured. It seemingly does not count progress if you're one of the three injured ones. YMMV.

I'm getting progress not count even when I'm the only healthy survivor. My 10% came when one person was on the hook afaik.

Unfortunately the progress is indeed buggy, but it appears to be completely random. I finished the achievement little over an hour ago and tested all possible scenarios. I have confirmed that being hurt yourself does count, that a downed or hooked survivor counts aswell. The only thing I noticed was that when someone recovered from the mending state, due to Borrowed Time, Legion Frenzy Ability or Soul Guard, I had problems with the achievement progressing. But with only 10 health states required I could not confirm if this is the trigger, as I got the achievement before I could test it more elaborately.

How many health states did you do would you estimate before the pop? I'm on at least 8 now, and I've got 10%. And yeah seems completely random.

I did it in 15 health states or less. There were 2 games were it was buggy for me. One game vs Legion where I healed 3 full health states and only gained 1% and another game where I healed 2 health states and gained 0%. That game I recovered with Soul Guard twice and being hit by the killer triggered Mending State, thats why I thought of that as a possible trigger.

That said, the fact that you are staying at 10% is very odd. Where my progress bugged more randomly, yours is consistent somewhat. I did suffer from a few other bugs so I reset my game multiple times and my Xbox once. I would suggest giving that a try. Do a hard reset where you press the power button for several seconds till the Xbox shuts off.

Yeah I'll try again tomorrow after full resets. Hopefully my tracker just jumps up correctly ;)

Same over here, i've got no tracking, 0% progress, and i'm sure i already done two or more ...
Hope he'll unlock later. *fingers crossed*

Empathy is a good perk to use too, maybe Kindred, but yeah, We'll Make It is very advised for this achievement, imo.

Yeah I'm not sure how to go about it. I don't get how some people unlock it, some don't. And it's the last achievement I need for the DLC pack.

It’s broken after all for me too, been stuck at 28 % for a while. I think I’m gonna wait for the next update, I feel like I’m just wasting my time now

I think you need to be injured as well for the achievement to track.

Seems like for me atleast, once 3 people are injured and I perform healing action It progress, but after I do it once it will not progress any further. I have tested this and it works for me. Once the game is finished completely shut down the game and restart it. It seems to work, but you have to do that after every game.

I seem to have a new bug to add to the mix.
If one of the people are hooked and the the other two are injured.
No progress.
They all need to be in the same status. I.e. Dying or Injured (hooked would already void itself)
If anyone finds anything to prove or disprove this. Shout it out.

It’s one thing to put situational achievements that are slim to come by on an already dead game but at least have them functional -_-
