The power ups are the big balls with a ? on them while playing online and hitting your golf ball through these, while keeping your ball in play will earn you a random ball buster. These 9 are random as far as i know at the minute so the only way to get them is to keep playing.

They do stack across games so they don't have to all be done in one course and having your own ball land on yourself does count according to a lot of members unlocking it as they had their last one land on themselves and still get the achievement.

The 9 you need to use are;
Personal Object - You spawn an object in front of the opposing player
Ball Swap - Both players or if more than 2, the player using the ball buster and the chosen player swap each others ball positions
Small Sweet Spot - Your opponents Sweet spot to strike the ball perfect is smaller
Hide the meter - Your opponents swing meter is hidden
Bouncy Ball - Your opponents ball gains more height after hitting off a surface
Randomizer - Makes your opponents power bar go crazy when taking a shot
Fast Meter - Your opponents Swing meter is much quicker
No Arc - Your opponent can no longer see the arc of the shot
Reduced Shot Power - Your opponents shot power is reduced

There are 9 different ball busters that you must use. Some tips to make the process smoother and more efficient when working with a partner are listed. This can be accomplished through multiple games.

This must be done in online multiplayer with at least two people.

The nine balls that you need are as follows:
1. Randomizer
2. Small Sweet Spot
3. Ball swap
4. Personal Object
5. Reduced Shot Power
6. Bouncy Ball
7. Fast Meter
8. Hide the meter
9. No Arc

Tips
1. Whenever one of you have a ball buster on you (meaning that you are affected by it) you must get rid of it (you can triple press A for a short swing). If you don't get ride of the buster and you or someone else gets a ball buster it will not count (the game will skip the animation wheel for a buster).

2. Do not finish the hole or complete your 7th and last swing until everyone is finished getting their ball busters. If there is only one person left on the course and they get a ball buster it will not count (the game will skip the ball buster animation wheel).

3. Make sure that whenever you are going for a ball buster that your ball does not end up out of bounds. If you get a ball buster and you get out of bounds the ball buster will not count (the game will skip the ball buster animation wheel). The only exception to this is if you are on your 7th and last swing. If you get the ball buster on your last swing it will count. So if it's your turn and it's your 7th swing make it count.

4. As a recommendation, if you and your partner are stuck and keep getting the same balls try switching who the host is. My partner and I did this and got 2 new balls on our next hole that we hadn't encountered before.

5. My partner and I found that golden apple vineyards was the best course to farm ball busters since many of the holes have ball busters that are guaranteed to be hit. As well, many of the holes have multiple ball busters that can be reached. In the end, though, it's all down to preference.

6. Try to get as many ball busters to land on your opponent (people say that it counts if it lands on you, but try to get your opponent just in case, you don't want to have to do them all over again). In order to do so on the spin wheel for the ball busters aim for your opponent (right on the first tick mark or two) and it'll land on them. Make sure to keep track of which ball busters you hit on yourself and which ones you hit to your partner.

7. Make sure to have a patient and loyal partner who will go through the ball busters with you. It's completely random so you could get the same ball buster a million times or you could get all 9 back to back. For me, my partner had to stick around an additional 2 courses after he finished.

8. If only one of you needs the achievement have the person who is done shoot for the hole land as close as possible (5-10 yards is a good idea). The reason that this is necessary is because in golf the person who is furthest from the hole must shoot (thanks Hiro for the reminder). Then have the person who needs the achievement keep swinging at the ball busters until they succeed and get the achievement.

This must be done online and is easiest to do with one other friend, on the course, Golden Apple Vineyard.

For sure method to hit a moving ball buster:
1. Make sure you’re on the island closest to the ball buster you’re going for.
2. For a ball buster moving up and down, aim at its lowest point.
3. Make sure your shot will land in bounds with the LB button.
4. Start to shoot the ball when the ball buster is at its highest point, just as it starts moving downard again.
5. Hit the ball at full power.

Same can be done with ball busters that move left to right. Just aim at the ball busters’ furthest right location and beginning shooting when the ball buster is as far left as it goes.

It took me 24 ball busters and between 3-4 hours to get all 9 of the ball busters.
