How to unlock the Bling achievement in DEF JAM ICON - Definitive Guide
This achievement is solely a function of how much money you pour into marketing your artists' releases.
The maximum amount you can put into a release is $3mil. If you do that, you will get all of the following achievements:
(500,000 copies sold)
(1,000,000 copies sold)
(2,000,000 copies sold)
(number 1 song)
Along the way, you'll likely get others, as you'll need to make money on your earlier releases to get the $3mil. My general suggestion is that when your artist begins to work on a song, stop spending money on jewelry/clothing. Save until the album is ready for release (usually 3-4 fights) and then dump all of your money into the release.
In my playthrough, using this method, I had 2 multi-plat, 5 platinum, and 7 gold releases. I think 6 of my songs went to #1.

You must have a record go Gold, Platinum, and Multiplatinum respectively. Throughout Build a Label, your artists will release songs which you can then invest in, deciding how much money to spend on releasing it.
You can get this on the very first song you are able to invest in, which you can after helping Luda out. Focus on putting a majority of the money you have into Airplay, with a good amount into Marketing, followed by PR Appearances, and Cost of Goods. After you've done a few fights, Luda's song should go gold, with the achievement following.
You must sell 500k units in order for a song to go Gold.
