How to unlock the Souvenirs achievement in Dishonored 2 - Definitive Guide

There are a total of 10 souvenirs throughout all the 9 missions. You must collect all of these on a single playthrough or else you won't receive this. You can keep track of the souvenirs you collected as they are all displayed behind or on the desk you face when you wake up on the dreadful wale. You literally can't miss the desk as you are staring right at it when you take control.

Mission 01: Samuel's Toy Boat
Located in the secret area where you retrieve your gun and mask.

Mission 02: Elite Guard Helmet
All you need to do for this is to eliminate an elite guard. Elite guards are those guards that are in red uniforms and can light your ass up with guns. You can get their helmet by either choking them out, or by murdering them. I prefer to do it by sword just to be safe, but you won't need to loot their bodies, you'll just automatically get it.

Mission 03: Syringe
To get this syringe, you need to take the nonlethal route for dealing with Dr. Hypatia. The syringe will not count as a souvenir if you kill her and go and pick it up. You must cure Hypatia. I will let you figure that shit out as it's a long process, and there are tons of videos showing you how to do so on YT.

Mission 04: Clockwork Soldier Head
Once you get to the Clockwork Mansion, you will notice that there are these really fuckin annoying mechs that you need to kill. To collect a head as a souvenir, just shoot one of their heads off via gun or crossbolt and proceed to make them explode. Do this once, and you will automatically get it without any looting. Just remember to take their head off before destroying them completely.

Mission 05: Witch Sword
If you enter Ashmore's office, you will notice some stairs with red carpet going up. Take two flights of those stairs to get to the top level of the observatory. Upon reaching the top, you will notice a glass case containing a certain sword. Smash and grab.

Mission 06: Corvo's Sword Trophy
This can be found in Corvo's old house which can be accessed via a boarded window. The trophy is located behind some bricks in one of the rooms.

Mission 06: Silvergraph Picture
This is found in the Silvergraph studios behind a locked door. The key to the door can be found where the Vice Overseer is located on a table.

Mission 07: Calendar
Once you receive the timepiece from the Outsider, switch to the past and you will notice a calendar beside a set of locked doors.

Mission 08: Gazelle
Found in the room where you capture Delilah's soul.

Mission 09: Emily's Doll
Some piece of shit asshole threw Emily's old doll into the fuckin toilet in the safe area where you could've stashed Ramsey's body >:(

Chapter 1: Samuel Beechworth Carving on bedroom/bathroom shelf in the safe room

Chapter 2: Knock out or kill and Elite Guard - Complete Mindy's side quest and use the car track. Wait for the Elite to walk off then kill/knock out the guard she was talking to. She'll wander the the bench, then wait for her to get up and take her out.

Chapter 3: You need the syringe from the non-lethal approach

Chapter 4: Take out a Clockwork soldiers head, then finish it off. I cannot confirm how this would work while pairing with the 'Silence' Trophy. I think you can go back and take one out after dealing with the target - I am attempting it on my current play through. EDIT: With non-lethal/stealth you can blink back up to the light above Jindosh's desk. Once there, lob a sticky grenade at the patrolling Clockwork. It won't kill it out right, but it will wake the second one on the floor. The one that was damaged will kill the new patrolling one; once that one is out of the way, toss a second sticky to take out the original. You'll stay undetected and still be able to acquire the object.

Chapter 5: The Broken Whalebone Sword is in a display case above where the target is - just to the right of the top of the stairs

For the next two it's best if you side with the Overseers to make life a lot easier:

Chapter 6: The Blade Verbena trophy is in Corvos home behind a wall in the bed room you can remove bricks from. You need powers & its above an alley on the back left side of the Overseers building if you are facing the front.

Chapter 6: For the second one you need to get the key from a small desk in the Vice Overseers main office then go to the Crones Hand and use the keep in the office on the second floor above the bar. There you will get a Silvergraph Studio Key and use it to open a shop in the neutral area [ near the metal dividers that block an archway; inside there is a Skiff Approaching Dockyard painting on the right wall. This does NOT count for the painting trophy!

Chapter 7: There is an 1849 Calendar that is in the past that is in the room with the Piano on a side table at the door.

Chapter 8: There is a Broken Gazelle Ornament on a table directly behind one of the main objectives.

Chapter 9: Go through the door on the back left side of the throne and head back to the Safe Room. Once there do back the same place where the first item was and you'll find the Mrs. Pilsen Doll in the toilet bowl.

For Verbena, you don't need powers, You do need patience, though. In the location, you must jump from a broken pipe to a small roof and then from a pipe to a platform that leads into the apartment. This could take several tries.

This achievement is highly missable as it involves collecting unmarked souvenir items from each of the nine missions in the game. Every mission, with the exception of Mission 6, The Dust District, has one item to collect; Mission 6 has two items. Most of these souvenirs are physical objects you must pick up, while there are some that are rewarded upon killing a certain enemy or dealing with a target in a specific manner.

After collecting a souvenir item and completing that particular mission, the item will be placed in the display cabinet above your desk (inside your room) aboard the Dreadful Wale. Collectible progress is only saved when you trigger an auto-save or make a manual save; if you die without saving, you will have to recollect the item. With all of this in mind, refer to the checklist and video guide below for aid in finding all ten souvenirs.

  • Mission 1, A Long Day in Dunall
    • Item: Samuel's Beechwood Carving
      • Inside Emily's safe room, this item can be found in the first alcove on a shelf above her bed.
  • Mission 2, Edge of the World
    • Item: Elite Helmet
      • Elite guards are those that wear red outfits. Simply eliminate a helmeted Elite guard at any time during this mission and the item will automatically be added to your collection post-mission.
  • Mission 3, The Good Doctor
    • Item: Syringe
      • Eliminate Dr. Hypatia non-lethally (refer to "Counter-serum") and this item will automatically be added to your collection.
  • Mission 4, The Clockwork Mansion
    • Item: Clockwork Head
      • During this mission, you will encounter Clockwork Soldiers for the first time. To retrieve this souvenir, shoot off a Soldier's head with a crossbow bolt and then proceed to kill it. Upon its death, this item will automatically be added to your collection.
  • Mission 5, The Royal Conservatory
    • Item: Broken Whalebone Sword
      • After making your way into the Conservatory, head towards the large, three-story atrium room. On the topmost floor, above Ashmore's office, right outside her laboratory where you can find the Oracular lens, you will find a display case. Smash the case and pick up the sword.
  • Mission 6, The Dust District
    • Item: Blade Verbana
      • In the Overseer's territory, when facing their hideout/building, there is a road to the left that leads to a dead end. Move along this road and towards the end there will be an illuminated plaque on the wall indicating Corvo's old home. Head into the narrow alley on the side of this building, climb the archway and the vent, smash through the boarded window, move into the furthest room, and then interact with the discolored bricks on the wall to reveal a hidden stash. Here, you will find the item primed for looting.
  • Mission 6, The Dust District
    • Item: Skiff Approaching Dockyard
      • Approach the Howler's territory and rather than making the left towards the saloon where Paolo is located, continue down the street and through the half-closed gates. Travel along this street and then hitch right into a darkened alleyway. You will receive a notification that you are now in neutral territory. On your left, break into the shop by smashing the windows with your sword and inside the shop, on the right-hand wall, you will find the framed photo, Skiff Approaching Dockyard.
  • Mission 7, A Crack in the Slab
    • Item: Calendar from 1849
      • After retrieving the Timepiece, turn around and move towards the doors that lead to the hallway. Before leaving the room, time travel to the past, look on the table to the right of the door, and you will find a framed calendar.
  • Mission 8, The Grand Palace
    • Item: Broken Gazelle Ornamen
      • After collecting Delilah's spirit in the Duke's vault, move around the central structure to find a portrait and table along the back wall. Pick up the gazelle head on the table. One more item to go!
  • Mission 9, Death to the Empress
    • Item: Mrs. Pilsen Doll
      • Upon reaching the throne room, ignore Delilah and return to Emily's safe room. In the first alcove (where the first souvenir item was found) you will find a small doll lodged within the toilet.

The achievement will finally unlock after collecting the tenth and final souvenir item in the game. Please refer below to PowerPyx's detailed video guide if a visual aid is preferred.

The fact that you can’t get through without magic is wrong. The only place that causes problems is Corvo's house, but with due diligence and skill, you can also climb there without magic. It took me about 5-10 minutes trying to jump.

You can get through without skills - you can jump into Corvo's house first from the bottom of the broken pipe, and then by grabbing the board to the left of the fan.

The video says that the helmet (mission 3) must be obtained by killing the guard. You can simply stun him (I picked him up and put him down again, just in case) and they will still give you the helmet. I haven’t figured out how to get a robot chip without detection yet

I didn’t have the syringe counted in the mission where I had to kill or neutralize Hypatia, because I killed her first and then took the syringe, apparently it only counts when saving Hypatia by injecting her with this serum!

A sentry soldier can be neutralized without being noticed and without killing in the statistics using a stun mine (upgraded to 2 ranks), or a reconfigured shock column. A souvenir appears in the cabin. My video with mine:

BE SURE TO SAVE Hepatia in Chapter 3!!! which I didn’t do, but just took a syringe (without injecting her with the antidote), as shown in the video)) I had to go through the game again...

It is enough to reconfigure the sentry (the panel on the right leg) using the mounting mechanism, after 2-3 minutes it will crumble, in a similar way you can get three signs from them

You can easily shoot off the sentry's head. I like the crossbow. The main thing is not to be detected initially. After firing, he can take a few steps and lock. And then achieve as you want. 2 blows to the body from the back. Fast and not dangerous.

You can check whether you have all the collected trophies on the ship |Fallen House|
They are located above the table next to where the main character wakes up.
