How to unlock the Slam Stars achievement in Dunk Lords - Definitive Guide
YOU MUST GET THE 35 DUNKS WITH THE SAME PLAYER
The first time I thought I had this was with a 24-14 split between my team, and it didn’t unlock. The next game I got 38 dunks with the same character and on the 35th dunk the achievement unlocked.
I chose Orwell and Maurice, although the second character did not matter too much as I left him near my hoop for most of the game. I preferred Orwell over Slice as I found his range and accuracy were better.
The map I chose was The ball pit, as the mega is just in front of the hoop.
The items I bought for Orwell were the one to allow me to dunk anywhere within the free throw line, the other items were not too important. I did manage to get the sponsorship item for my 2nd character which helped a bit, but again was probably not too important. If you are able to the item to prevent being uppercutted whilst dunking could be useful
What I did was dunk it, then back up slightly whilst the opponent collected it. When the protective bubble was about to run out, I used my B ability to stun them, sprinted over to them, grabbed the ball and sprinted for a dunk. The dunk gave me back a star and allowed me to use it again immediately for the next setup. I got most of the dunks this way, and a few were from counter attacks where I lost my rhythm or missed the shots, but they were the minority.
Even without the dunking item, I managed to get 14 dunks in the first quarter, so it is not a necessity.
I am not too good at the MEGA segments, as I found the opponent would just launch the ball away, and I was only able to get 1-2 dunks per segment.
This is my first guide and feedback is appreciated.

Just got this and I used Hope because she cannot be uppercut during her dunk, and her special is teleportation, so using that while she has the ball is a great combo

Very easy and simple way to get this….set up a game on hard make sure the two opponents are taller….go afk or move your players away from hoop, eventually CPU will get 35 dunks and you’ll pop achievement

This worked for me but isn't well explained. I used 2 controllers on my team and put both characters at the bottom of the screen, one just on each side of the mid court line. For me this caused one of the bots to dunk, run off, run back, dunk and repeat. ONE of the red team needs to get the 35 dunks, it didn't work when I first tried and the enemy bots split them. The other bot can score but a single one needed over 35 for me.
I don't think enemy bots being taller does anything, but it might hurt if the enemy bots are the shooter type and like to shoot instead of dunk (frank, abby, etc)

Again. Calliper has a guide with useful tips but thought I'd add my tips as well. For me, this was another pain in the ass achievement. It took me several tries but finally found an easy combo pair.
You'll want to use Tina-28 for my method. As she has a charge ability called Pump it Up which activates a boost of energy for you and your team-mate. Hold down = to use the charge ability.
I then have Hope as my Allie but you can choose someone else you see fit. You'll want to always dunk with Tina-28 for the full 35 dunks to unlock the achievement.
Pick the map The Ball Pit as you have that Yellow orb for the Mega power that makes you massive. You'll keep getting points for the Mega whenever you dunk almost everytime.
Now whenever you dunk with Tina-28. Immediately do her charge ability. As this will keep you energised constantly so you can dunk. After doing a dunk and using your charge ability, it's key to let the other team score, so your team mate can quickly pass back to you for another dunk.
If you do this. You'll get in control of ball much faster for dunks and you won't be wasting precious time trying to steal or rebound the ball as overall score doesn't matter. Your aiming to get 35 dunks afterall.
Mega Power Tip-
when you do go into Mega form and dunk. I find it easier to move around in a circle straight after a dunk as this normally allows you to pick up the ball quickly for another dunk. sometimes it's luck because the ball does go flying the other direction at times.
ITEMS-
It's random what comes up to buy but you'll want something to boost your speed and have your team-mate have an item that improves passing ideally.
I hope this guide does help out.
