How to unlock the Going Down achievement in Enter The Gungeon - Definitive Guide
You first need to get Sherpa (a npc that fixes the elevators) to show up to start this. After your first flawless boss fight, he will show up outside of the second floor's elevator. Edit: I now believe that you don't need to flawless to get him to appear the first time; he may just randomly show up outside of the 2nd floor elevator. Note that even if you get hit during the boss fight with armor on, it will not count as a flawless victory. You cannot get hit at all!
Once you talk to Sherpa on the second floor, he will go back to the Breach. Go talk to him there once you are back and he will note that the elevators are broken and he will fix them. Enter the Gungeon and reach the second floor again. Once the elevator drops, go ahead and follow down into the elevator shaft. You will enter into a room with Sherpa and some electrical wires. He will need some items from you in order to finish his repair. These items are:
1) Three blanks
2) Three keys and 120 Coins (Note that you need both of these at the same time)
3) 10 Hegemony Credits (Those green "H" icons you get when defeating bosses)
4) The Master Round 1 which you will get when you get a flawless victory at the first floor boss
Note that these must be given to him in order except the Master Round 1! So if you flawless the boss and get the Master Round 1, you want to still talk to Sherpa and give him the item even if you haven't given the 3 keys and 120 coins for example. Not a bad idea to get that item out of the way if you can!
Everyone has his/her own play style, but I found myself performing better with the Marine. The Hunter was a close second for her one hit crossbow on the first floor. Do not worry too much about this achievement until you start unlocking more powerful guns from the shop Ox and Cadence run. For the second step, if you ever see keys for sale during your run buy them! Keys are much harder to come by than saving up for the 120 coins. You can always defeat the second floor boss in order to get enough coins for his requirement.

You don't need to flawless the boss! I haven't flawless'd any bosses yet, but Sherpa has appeared in the Gungeon and is offering the shortcut.

So he randomly showed up for you the first time? I'll edit if so; he only showed for me after doing the first flawless. You still need to flawless the first boss for the master round 1 item though in step 4.

After completing a boss without taking damage, Tailor will spawn in elevator shafts that you will need to visit and provide materials for him to fix and create the shortcut to that floor.
For the second floor shortcut you need to provide
- 3 Blanks
- 3 Keys and 120 shells
- Master Round 1 (earned by acing the first floor boss)
- 10 Hegemony credits
Materials can be given before they are asked for except for the hegemony credits, which are always last. A good strategy for all of the shortcuts is to tailor a run for such a goal, such as playing the first two floors specifically to stock up on keys and shells.
After completing a shortcut don't forget to stop by Tailor in the breach for your new item/gun. Your reward for this shortcut is the Gunboots.

To do this, you need to save the NPC with a backpack in prison, which appears randomly. After that, talk to him in the starting area, he will give you a task. You need to find it in the elevator shaft after 1 boss (the elevator leaves, jump down). He wants 3 items first that destroy ammo. After that, he will want 120 bullets and 3 keys, this is very difficult to do because even after clearing everything, you may not be able to collect it, but you must hand it over before moving to the 3rd floor and all this together. Then he will demand 10 currency, which drops from bosses. And the final, fourth request is an item that drops from 1 boss if you do not take damage (hitting the shield counts). After this hell, you will be able to go down to the 2nd floor right away... According to observation, the order in which the items are handed over is not important. So, knowing what he wants, you just type in what you need and hand it over.

120 bullets and 3 keys can be collected on the second floor and brought, but it still depends on luck.
