How to unlock the Chatterbox achievement in Escape Academy - Definitive Guide
Once you have finished an escape room, the room's zone will be replaced by the icon of a person on the campus map
Simply go into the zone again and talk to the character there eight times in order to unlock the achievement (this must be eight separate conversations, you can't just repeat one conversation eight times)
This achievement is technically "missable", as the option to speak to a side character disappears as you progress throughout the story, although not all hope is lost
If you have finished the main campaign, you can start a new save and quickly play through the escape rooms again, ensuring you have side conversations with the characters as outlined before
The conversations are cumulative between playthroughs, so you should be able to get the achievement fairly quickly if you missed out the first time round

There are 16 side conversations you can initiate in the game. On the map, after completing escape rooms, there might be a stick figure at a location which represents someone you can speak to. Enter that location, hover over the character and press to speak to them. Once you start the conversation, you can press to skip and it will count. This should unlock naturally if you are purposely talking to everyone.
Note: Characters disappear after completing some escape rooms so make sure to speak to them as soon as they appear.
