How to unlock the With Our Powers Combined achievement in Evolve - Definitive Guide
Edit: I was personally able to win a Defense in solo in custom. Evac should be even easier with the 'pity bonus'. See comments for details. If it works for others I'll add it to the guide.
Evacuation is the mode where you play 5 matches in a row.
This achievement requires you to win the final round (Defend) as a Hunter.
The first round is always Hunt.
Rounds 2-4 are up for vote, with 2 choices each.
The choices are always 2 of these 3 game modes - Hunt, Nest, or Rescue.
In defend, you have to make sure the monster doesn't destroy the generator for the ship.
There are 2 other generators the monster has to destroy before he can reach the ship.
The monster gets mini-goliath helpers every so often as well.
The timer starts at 6 minutes, with the monster getting 4 more minutes for each generator it destroys.
The monster starts at level 3.
Here was my strategy:
Make all game settings favor humans.
Difficulty - Favor Hunters
Wildlife Population - Low (makes the monster take longer to regain armor)
Reinforcement Time - 15 (if someone dies they'll only take 15 seconds to spawn)
Strikes - Infinite (revives won't lower your HP)
Perks - On
Mastery - On
Elite Wildlife - Probably doesn't matter. Off to be safe so monster can't buff I guess
I was Hyde - Perk was 10% Damage Boost
Allies were Hank, Caira, and Abe.
Monster was Behemoth. Probably wasn't the best choice but it worked.
They killed my first Generator pretty fast. Kill the first batch of minions then focus on the monster. When it tries to run, switch to Abe and Dome it. When it ran away again (back to the first area), I camped the doorway so I could kill the minions. Whenever the monster would show up again, I'd dome it. I was able to win at the second generator.
This was on New Calico, but I don't know if you can pick the map for Evacuation. The general strat should work anywhere though.
Things of note -
Losing previous rounds in Evacuation causes your team to get a slight bonus, it may honestly be advantageous to lose all four previous rounds just to get an edge in the final battle.
Winning the 4th round will cause your turrets to get stronger, though it doesn't seem to help much. Conversely, if the monster wins round 4, its mini-goliaths get armor.
Hank's missile attack is good for hitting the mini-goliaths and the monster at the same time.
Mines and other AOE are your friend.

just a note - winning round 4 (and all previous rounds) rewarded turrets that do more damage, not more armor for turrets. Not sure if it varies or if just a slight oversight. Regardless, +1 obviously. Just a small note.

Yeah sorry. I forgot the cutscene shows them getting armor but it's really just more damage.

Start an Evacuation campaign as a Hunter, which is a dynamic campaign across 5 map and modes where the outcome of each match will affect the next. To make this easier you can change the difficulty to favour Hunters and upon winning an evacuation mode you should get the achievement.
