It's important to note that DRS can only be activated on certain parts of each track, it isn't available immediately at the start of a race or after the safety car is recalled, and it cannot be used when racing in heavy rain (thanks to MCR DANGERDAYS for pointing that part out). The easiest way to get this achievement is to start up a race at 10% or more of the full length. Make sure you don't take first place (or if you do, the car in second is very close behind you) through the third lap. Once you hit the third lap, DRS will be activated. Make sure you stay close behind the car in front of you. Once you get into the DRS zone (the DRS icon on the HUD will light up green), hit the Y button (default DRS button for the controller) and slip stream off of the car in front of you until you get enough speed to overtake them. If you're quick enough and close enough, you should be able to overtake the car in front of you and the achievement will unlock immediately.

I was able to unlock this one easily at Australia. The DRS zone is throw the straight at the very end/beginning of each lap. It's long enough that if you're close to a car in front of you, you can have the DRS as well as the KERS (hit LB) going at the same time. I was able to overtake the car in front of me easily by the end of the DRS zone (which is right before the first turn).

DRS is a system that opens up part of your rear wing and reduces the drag allowing you to go faster at the cost of downforce/cornering grip, so it's best saved for the straights. In practice and qualifying, it is available at all times but in the actual race (where you need to overtake someone for this trophy) It's only available in the preset DRS zone(s) on each track. It also won't be available in the rain or for the first 2 laps of the race. To use DRS, you need to be within a second of the car in front at the DRS detection zone. You can then use it when it shows up green on the HUD. It will be on one or more of the tracks main straight sections and you will see the DRS signs at the side of the track as you go round, showing you where you will be able to use it. For this trophy, just stick right behind someone until you can use your DRS and pass them while it's activated. Don't forget that you'll need to start a race that is 3 laps or longer if you want DRS.

DRS (Drag Reduction System) refers to the movable rear wing. In qualifying, you may use DRS as often as you like for an increase in straight line speed. In races, you need to be within a one second gap (to the next driver) when crossing designated points on the tracks. The DRS zone is a white line, going horizontally across the track. If you're within the one second gap when you cross the line, you will see the DRS button in the bottom right corner turn green. This means you can use it. Activate it by pressing and cleanly overtake another car. There is an audible click when you activate it and you will see the DRS button flash. If you brake or press again, DRS will deactivate.

Most circuits have one DRS zone, but a couple, such as Montreal and Monza have two. Be careful when using DRS (especially in qualifying) as you will have severely reduced downforce and thus less grip. Straights are fine. Also, DRS is disabled in the first two laps of a Grand Prix, for two laps after a safety car/restart and completely disabled if the race is wet.

An example of a DRS zone is shown below (Australia):
