How to unlock the Best Friends Forever achievement in Floppy Knights - Definitive Guide
It’s okay for him to lose his armor.
Don’t worry about this on your first try. You can go back and do it later. I recommend right after you finish episode 5 (your current episode), you will unlock a card to buy.
Deck - Plants
add Sunshine, Now & Later, and Grow and Uproot to meet minimum deck requirements.
Pretty much upgrade Sunshine to draw 3 cards. This also gains you one energy when you use it.
Use sunshine, followed by Now & Later as much as you want and gain unlimited energy. You then would just need to take advantage of Sow and Reap, which are cards locked to the plant deck. Sow let’s you move for 1 energy, and will turn to Reap, which will let you attack one enemy, and switch back to sow.

Plants- Vera commander
2X Grow, Succulent Kicker, Adaptation, Treefolk Rock, Sunshine.
Pretty much used Grow on Grow, which makes it not have destroy. Then try use that with each upgrade and put them on Vera and have her cover the right and top side. Only place Succulent Kicker down after you used grow on him, otherwise you get a 1 cost Kick in your deck instead of a 0 cost. Have him cover the left side. And take advantage of Sow and Reap. It’s not too hard after you kill the initial threats.

Thank you Atrolity! I didn't have Now and Later unlocked yet but even without it, this focused deck made the level much easier to manage.

Load up the Old Friends Level in Shimmer Caverns. It is completely fine for Bernard to lose his 5 Armor, as long as, he doesn't lose any of his 15 HP. Place your Commander on the left side of spawn and make your way to the top of the screen as quickly as possible. The strategy is to have your 3 character units in play by turn 5. Your Commander will hold the top left, Troublemaker will hold the top right, and Bamboomler can stay in the river below Bernard to fight off any enemies down there. Just hold these positions and everything should be under control once you have defeated the first wave of enemies.
